Herman's Pawn Shop Collinsville Rd, Collinsville

I pawn a Nintendo switch to this guy and waited a couple of weeks to get it out. Upon arriving to retrieve my item 3weeks later, I was told that my item fell into default that same day, ready to be sold on the floor. I did not receive any warning texts or calls regarding the matter. Also I wasn't notified that I had mistakenly left a video game cartridge and memory car inside the Nintendo switch. These items also was put out on the floor for sale. Again this establishment did not notify me about anything. They were look for a easy come up$$!

Bad customer service, I called to ask questions an got told "just come in" then hung up on! Like this is ridiculous how it hasn't been brought up to management regarding giving customers valid information about your company's policies. I see no reason to let anyone work anywhere if you cannot explain your your company. I will be making calls to management an next I got your store I will be doing a public awareness video based on customer service an the Representation of your store from your employees. All I wanted was to know if you bought power tools. I didn't ask for price. Yet I got told to Basically go figure it out on my own even though you guys put contact information to your store for questions like mine. I will also be informing people I know not to waist there time driving to you either so they don't get turned down how I was over the PHONE!

Horrible Service! I bring in a complete surround sound system piece by piece. The guy checks the model number of one of the bookshelf speakers, and goes online. He doesn't check the subwoofer or receiver the two most expensive pieces. He comes back with a quote of $40 for a $1000 home sound system. I ask to speak to someone above him. The supervisor who was self proclaimed "big john" says nope its what he said, I opened my mouth to respond and he starts antagonizing me by making childish sounds, like a baby crying, I try to speak he does it louder over me. These people are far from professional. Don't waste your time being mistreated by people who don't even know how to research the item you bring them properly. Only got one star because google made me pick one to post this post.

Place is great. Just dont take them your old junk and you wont be blown off and tried to be nice to without saying your stuff is junk crap and we dont buy junk. Hermans has quality stuff at good prices and they have always been very nice and helpful!!!

Prices are very reasonable family very nice and honest best pawn shop around been spending with them for over 20yrs never had a problem
