Heritage South Community Credit Union Sgt Asbury Hawn Way, Smyrna

I went in today to open a saving account and I was not impressed. Everything was okay until I walked into the bankers office and she barely said two words to me. I asked her how she was doing and she was responded she was fine but didn’t bother to ask how I was or even engage in conversation. The whole tome she was not engaging or even really acted like she wanted to be there. I didn’t like that I couldn’t set up my own online account so I told her I would go else where. She handed back ID and said nothing. Not a good first impression.

I like the credit union for the most part. Most of the tellers are very nice. However, every single interaction that I have had with someone with a little bit of authority and they seem to be some of the rudest people. Not sure what upper management is putting these people through but they are most definitely passing it along to the customers.

I signed up for heritage south roughly a year ago. I was still building my credit at the time. They offered me an account but I had to pay $2.50 every 2 weeks. Attempting to build a trusting relationship, I agreed to the account. A year later I called and advised my credit is in the upper 600’s, I’ve never overdraft my account, and I would like to switch to an account that I don’t have to pay for. Nobody returned my call, as they said they would. Then I went inside to cancel the account.. the bank teller didn’t even care to ask why I was leaving. Which made me feel like they never cared to have my business anyway. Not the best experience not the worst but I’m with navy federal now and I loveeee it!!!

This place is so awesome and friendly they treat everyone nice and they make it easy to get financing for whatever you may need even if you don’t have perfect credit..

Jessica at the Smyrna Branch is the epitome of perfect customer service! We were recommend to this branch to finance a vehicle. She went above and beyond to make this transaction happen. My son bought his first big ticket item and is well on his way to building his credit. I can't thank her and this CU enough for believing in him!

Scarlet Spencer was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. I got my mortgage thru Heritage South and we had some bumps in the road due to Covid-19 but Scarlet was patient and everything turned out great. Would highly recommend Scarlet and Heritage South for mortgages. Also Darlene is great too!

I highly recommend not to have any dealings with Laura P. at this bank. We had nothing but mis-information, laughed at when we gave her information and concerns. Total disregard for customer service. It has taken almost a month to get a check cut to us for a loan that was taken out. This bank is a great bank, but will never have another dealing with Laura.

Jessica at the Smyrna branch was so friendly and efficient when I financed my vehicle here, made me feel valued as a client. Great experience!

Excellent place to do business. They make you feel like your special. No games just quick easy transactions.
