We had the best experience with Harper, start to finish. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable of their products. We ordered a Jeep, and they kept us updated regularly. Our car came in about when Harper predicted, and they immediately had it ready for us. They made sure we were trained in its technology and happy with it all before we left the lot. We would definitely shop here again and will have all of our service done here as well.

Edit: since the deership decided to edit their original response to this i feel the need to do the same. The dealership showed us a price of around $28000 which is what we were looking ti pay. Around 30k out the door. They they added 1500in options, some of which it didn't have and refused to even take those off. We would have bought it if they worked with us at all and if the sales rep (Miles) had any sales professionalism. It seemed like he didn't care if he sold the car or not or if the customer had an interest. Also, this was the first test drive I've ever had where the sales rep rides with you on the test drive even though they request a copy of your license insurance, etc. We had to ask him to exit the vehicle so we could discuss the vehicle and if we wanted it. Had every intention of purchasing a vehicle from them; however, Miles is the sole reason we won't be purchasing from them. We drove the vehicle and liked it; they have had it for over 30 days, and it still had not sold. We were trying to negotiate a price, and he had only said maybe 25 words to us the entire time other than do you want it. He is extremely unprofessional with his demeanor and attitudes with the customers. They said the vehicle had options it very clearly did not that they had on their asking price but still wouldn't even take it off. Whole thing just seemed off. When you're trying to give a company $30-40k, you should have a bit more of a personable attitude. We will be buying elsewhere because of this and his buddy who seemed to be the sales manager

Within 250 miles, We are priced at #3 out of 41 2016 Mercedes’ GLC models at $29,537 which is 9% below the market average. I’m sorry that you felt that we should have discounted further but in this case it is already priced at an amazing deal! If we were overpriced you probably wouldn’t have even seen our vehicle online. I wish I could give ZERO stars, but Google review will not allow. 3 days ago my husband found a 2020 Dodge Ram this dealership was selling and immediately contacted them about it. The salesman, Miles, was helpful getting my husbands trade value and a buyers order sent over quickly. Obviously, my husband asked the common questions regarding buying the new vehicle and was told that everything was in immaculate condition. My husband spent an ENTIRE day communicating back and forth between the dealer and our bank getting everything in order for this sell. Finally, all of the paperwork was done and the check was written only for the salesman to tell my husband that he would have to come buy the truck immediately that they WILL NOT hold vehicles for purchase even with supporting documents to prove. Living 2 hours away from the dealer, my husband proceeded to leave work and drive to get the truck the same day. Upon arrival, the truck was getting “detailed” and a dent in the back right bumper was noticed along with damaged trailer outlet and plugs. The sales manager, Scott, told my husband that the truck comes AS IS. No repairs. These issues were never discussed to my husband during many conversations regarding this truck. The sales manager then asked for the check from the bank (the difference between the trade and the new purchase) and asked for the title as well. Why would a title be given if the trade hasn’t been paid off? After much discussion of the condition of the truck and the check/title issue, my husband left without trading. Needless to say, we had a HORRIBLE experience with this dealership and will NOT recommend to anyone.

This was the first time I’ve ever bought a car from a dealership where I did not feel pressured or left with an icky feeling. I promise you, this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. My salesperson Tony Cole made me feel so comfortable as well as everyone else. Everyone all the way to the finance person were great. Please buy from this dealership. No bull from these guys. I recently had transmission work done at Harper Dodge and was very pleased with my experience. I had an extended warranty on my vehicle and reminded the service personnel of that. Transmission work is not cheap, and I feared that the warranty company would find an excuse to deny my claim. They didn't! The transmission works fine now, and I had to pay only a small deductible.

Tony Cole was outstanding. My first interaction with Tony was me calling him while I was at another dealership because something didn’t just sit right. I let him know what I was wanting to do and what price the dealership I was at was saying. After talking a few minutes Tony was just so easy to talk to and communicate with that I sent him over the deal jacket from the other dealer and he immediately told me to get out of there. The other dealership were adding all kinds of extras no rebate or anything and touting “it’s part of all of our cars”. Tony wasn’t pushy or over bearing he didn’t hover and he answered all the questions I had. He even took my wife and daughter on a test drive while I was on my way to him from the other dealership and treated them like he had known them forever. At the end Tony made me and my family feel welcomed and part of the Harper family and still checks in on us to make sure I’m still as excited about my new jeep as the day I was when I drove it home. Thank you Tony for such a great experience we will for sure be back.

Thank you to Lafayette and the service team at Harper Jeep Ram for taking care of us on our way back home from vacation to Iowa! Our battery light came on about 5 miles from the dealership and ended up needing an alternator! We were in and out in about 2 hours and we got a complimentary car wash as well! I called Harper Jeep at about 2:20 pm to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. I was told to come on in and they would get it done. I arrived at about 2:45, and they took my Wrangler in right away. By 3:25 the work was done and I was on my way home! The people are friendly and courteous. I have had only good contacts with everyone at Harper Jeep.

You must read the entire review. As a female taking a vehicle in to have repairs done, I felt a little under estimated and almost treated like they didn’t really want to do the work on the vehicle. It was almost as if they didn’t believe me when I said it was having trouble starting. It is an older model Jeep but we’ve owned it for years and plan on taking to our second home as an additional car there. I had to really sell the fact that the car wasn’t starting. We had to actually use jumper cables to start it a few days before. I had to insist they check it out and look for anything that might need repair. I think the work done is satisfactory but I really won’t know until it sits for a week or so to make sure it will start then. I guess we’ll have to wait and see…….. Well all I can say is that those of you that have ever doubted Harper dealerships and their commitment to good service, doubt no more. They not only fixed the Jeep, the dealership manager made a house to call to pick it up and take it back in to have everything checked and then he returned it to me as well. Shannon Harper read my initial review and acted immediately to make sure I was not just satisfied but felt listened to and heard. Thank you Harpers for making service a priority at all levels of dealerships. There’s a reason our family has been a Harpers customer for over 25 years!

This dealership engages in a pretty typical bait and switch scheme. I attempted to purchase a truck from them for the advertised price on their website and then later in the process they hit you with the surprise price which includes an additional $5,000 markup. Not only was the price advertised not honored, but the salesman that reached out "confirmed" the advertised price was accurate. I support your right to sell a truck for as much money as you can possibly get out of it, but you can't lie about the price. It is pretty apparent they are out to grab money at all costs, even their word or reputation.

Brian and tge staff made my purchase quick and easy. I called from an online add asked for a cash price out the door being that I lived in another state 4 hours away I wanted to know everything upfront. Brian responded within 10 min the price was perfect. Once we got to the dealership he had the vehicle ready for us. We test drove the jeep I loved it. Once we decided we wanted it the paperwork was quick and painless. Thank you for all that yall did. We will definitely call yall in the future when we are ready to purchase again. We ordered a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. All communication has been done on line or on the phone. The dealer is in Knoxville and I am in Florida. Charlie Goodman is the salesman and he has been excellent. We are looking forward to picking up our new jeep this week.

I was traveling through the area when I got a warning signal on the dash of my Ram 2500. Jim Hicks and Blake Stone immediately ran a diagnostic and filled my intercooler coolant reservoir and I was back on the road in 15 minutes. Awesome service for a Ram owner that didn't ever purchase my vehicle from them. That's service with integrity!!!

This is a long story. But long story short if you don’t want to read all of it. I will not come back and I don’t recommend it. I was needing a car. The market is high and I used my bank’s connections to find the car Harper had. They close at eight and I happen to have seen a car of their’s I liked. I called around six. I spoke to Nas and we setup a meeting for the car. I changed the plan to Wednesday. He was flexible on showing the car. I really liked that. My schedule is not flexible. I contacted him that next day and he said it could not be held. But I kept speaking to them and on Friday we were contacting about holding it. They asked to sign papers and I did a down payment. I liked that they let me do the signing electronically. So I got it settled and then Eddie texted and the text was like [The car can’t be held because we thought you were coming on Monday, but I’ll look out for it.] Three people(s) has looked at it before Tuesday night. They were not keeping me updated. I asked. Nas on Tuesday night did let me know someone was looking at it. I had to contact on the update and it was sold. I got the refund. Their communication was very responsive. They could work on informing. I wish they were loyal and cared about EVERY customer. I was a customer trying to buy a car I needed.

Made an appointment to have an oil change and tire rotation on my Jeep Gladiator. Service was completed in under 45 minutes. Staff was courteous and respectful of my time. Much better ran dealership as a whole since Harper Group took over.

I can't brag enough about this place. I worked with Charlie Goodman and we built my car from scratch. I have worked with many places to buy a car, but this dealership was by far the easiest I have ever worked with! It didn't take long at all to work out the pricing negotiations, which has taken me up to 4 hours at other places. They were fair, honest, transparent, professional, and extremely helpful. I have never had "fun" at a car dealership... however, this experience was very fun and very quick! I am now the proud owner of my dream car. I would definitely recommend this place out of all the dealerships in the area!

I just purchased my 3rd RAM 1500 pickup truck... This time from Harper Jeep Ram on the Alcoa Hwy in Alcoa, TN. I was a little apprehensive, since I bought my first 2 trucks from Rice prior to Harper. I had the same sales person for the first 2 trucks as well. My sells person for this go round was Charlie Goodman. Charlie was relaxed and always friendly. Not pushy and always helpful. I ordered this truck from the factory about 45 days ago. It arrived just as I had ordered and Charlie kept me updated on the build and delivery. The negotiation process was fair, uncomplicated, and I was agreeable to the outcome. I look forward to a happy relationship with this "new" dealership, of course only time will tell, but I'm certainly going in opened minded. I like long term relationships that are built on trust, action, and the confidence that a business will do the right thing for its customers - always. One year later update - love the truck! I liked my 2017 RAM Limited, BUT I LOVE THIS ONE! I get oil changes and tire rotations at the dealership, which has been a good experience too.

Steve at the truck centers top notch for customer service and quality. Had my truck in for service where something happened. Called me right away already had the part ordered. Dropped it off and got it done with in a few hours. I will for ever service here due to honesty and good quality work. Follow up on this review. Lafayette in service is the guy to go see if you have a problem. Had a bulb go out after service, brought it back took care of it for me at no charge even though he did not have too. Would not service my truck anywhere else.

The people at Harper Jeep are great to work with. Sales and service are wonderful. Sales checks in regularly to make sure all is going well and helped me get what I was looking for from the beginning of the process. Service provides friendly staff , a nice waiting room with comfortable seating , electrical outlets, and WiFi so you can work while you wait. I’ve dealt with service departments at multiple Jeep dealerships in the area (Knoxville and Oak Ridge) and Harper Jeep is clearly a cut above the rest.

Made an 830 am appointment for a transmission service. Had originally made it known I would be waiting until the service was completed, but decided to have my pick me up to run some other errands. At 230 pm ( 6 hours later) I called about my car and they had not even looked at yet. After telling them that I had to come pick it up because I had to use it for work, they ( barely) apologized... made up some excuses and then told me they would have it ready to pick up ( not serviced) as soon as I got there. I went inside to get it. No one knew I was coming for it and it was sitting in the service bay still not being worked on. I had many more options of places to do business with. I assumed an actual dealer would be the best choice. You know what happens when you assume. The 1 star I gave is because they had some great looking Chargers on the lot.... and because I couldn’t go lower.

Another great Harper Dealership! Service department is top notch. Super easy to schedule with them, with multiple options for service. On time service appointment with accurate time quote. Had a slight problem with one of my wheels, that was no fault to the dealership, but they gave me a detailed explanation of what happened and how they would fix it. Service technicians and managers were all a class act from start to finish. Would highly recommend them for any and all service needs.

12/28/2021 First oil change and tire rotation today. No issues. In and out in about an hour. They even ran a software update on the stereo. 6/28/21 Edit Wrangle arrived damaged (scratches) during shipping. Was taken to Harpers Body shop and fixed before delivery. I'd have preferred a little more through communication regarding its status while there (felt like forever) but they did an excellent job and seemed to have been very meticulous. Love the Jeep. Been a lot of fun. Ordered lift kit, will have Harper install. Will update again once completed. 5/1/21 Edit Bought another Jeep. Checked 4 other dealers first, found Harper to still be better then the rest. Well treated, no pressure, no 'car sales circus' BS. Waiting for it to arrive, will update again later. Good deal on a new Jeep. We were treated well with no BS. Will service our Jeep here as well.

The staff here are absolutely top notch! They worked so hard to try to resolve an issue with my Jeep but came to find out there is a bigger issue with my warranty. Exceptional and quick service! I have tried for months to find a place to get my Range Rover serviced regularly with a reputable dealer and everyone was short-staffed and couldn’t get me in for a month or longer. I drove straight to Harper and even though I didn't have an appointment, they fixed my vehicle in just a few hours! Communication is very good throughout the service process. You don't sit in the lobby for 2 hours wondering about your vehicle. One of the many perks that I like is that they treat you like family and they wash my truck with every service appointment. If you want to really know about a dealership, just ask the employees. I make it a point on every service visit to try to talk to a different employee whether in sales or service. I always ask them. What do you think of this place( the harper family dealership)? I have always gotten a positive answer. They speak highly of the Harper family.

My jeep had a sensor go out for the braking system. I called one day and they were able to see me the next morning. I drove in, they got all my information and was able to tell me what was needed in just a few minutes. They had everything done in 2 hours and I was ready to go. The staff was friendly. They pointed out a couple of things that needed to be done soon, but did not push. I will be using them for my jeep again.

I had the pleasure of working with Ricky Stoots, Brian unfortunately i forgot his last name and Sherry Riggs today as I went in for a simple oil change. Ricky had come to let me know that my car had many issues and helped go through what they were and the cost to fix it. He advised that it may be time to consider getting a new car. After careful consideration that is exactly what I did. I was then put in touch with Brian who helped me with the purchasing process. I am a small business owner so this process was very lengthy but him and Sherry teamed up to get me the best deal they could. Once everything was settled Sherry made the finalizing part a breeze. While on a 24 day road trip, my Jeep Grand Cherokee started making scary noises that sounded like the brakes were going to fail. I called Harper Jeep and asked if I could bring my car in on an emergency basis (appointments were all booked up for the next 3 days). They told me to come on in and they'd fit me in, and within an hour they had test driven my Jeep and determined that nothing was wrong with it. They guessed that I had just gotten something in the brake that had worked it way out, and they didn't charge me a dime for their time. They even gave me a voucher for a car wash because I had so much road grime! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Lafayette, my service advisor. I will remember your kindness forever!

Update 7/12/2022: The owner replied to my posting asking I contact them. I did. Three weeks later I contacted to make sure it hadn't gone to spam. The dealer did take steps to address my issues. For that reason, I raised the star rating from 2 to 3. I wish to thank the owner, Mr. Harper, for taking the time and interest to look into the issue. Original Post: My alternator failed in September 2021. This caused the computer to fail. I limped into the dealership without an appointment. They took the vehicle, gave us a ride home and called the next day specifying what was wrong - Alternator, Battery and my power control module (PCM). I said to add an oil change to it. Service writer was Stephanie. I was charged for the oil change even though I had previously purchased a package and told her so. I was told the battery needed replacing, negotiated a price, told it was done - the battery was not replaced (I was not charged for it). The PCM was back ordered. Dealer can not control when parts arrive (I understand that). However, to obtain any status updates I had to initiate the call. Parts plus installation took almost 4 months. Zero assistance on a loaner or rental. Service writer deferred to service manager. Service manager said all were out and needed to save for those who was having warranty service done. Work done was excellent. If I return, I won't use that service writer again.

The staff was awesome. Explained everything in detail. I was going in for a tire rotation and oil change. I was informed there was a recall on a part. They ordered it and scheduled an appointment to get it taken care of.

No one seemed to care to sell a car. Mike the salesman said maybe 20 words. He was not personable at all. We asked if he would do anything with the price, he said nope. Dead....nothing else. He gave us a paper that broke down the cost. it said it had a tow package....it did not. We told him that it did not, he just said ok and still held firm on the price. The whole company seems sketchy

I bought a 2016 Dodge Ram Echo Deisel from a used car lot. I started having problems with it and decided to take it to the Harper truck center for repair. I had no idea how much Dodge backs up their products because all of my repairs were covered under "Echo Deisel Extension".Jim and Jake worked very hard to ensure I was taken care of during this process. I didnt have to worry at all because I was given a loaner vehicle the whole time my truck was being worked on. I 100% recommend the Harper truck center to anyone for repairs or general maintenance.

Everybody here is very upfront, friendly and DON'T PRESSURE YOU INTO ANYTHING. I've bought 2 vehicles here, Jeep Sahara and a brand new DODGE CHALLENGER. They had everything ready when I got here and none of.the banter is a facade, they honestly do care. As a single dad, I'm glad I have 1 place to go for everything vehicle-wise. My experience with Harper Jeep Ram Chrysler Dodge has been wonderful. I drove from Nashville to Knoxville to purchase my 2015 Ford Escape. We called the morning of our trip to make sure the car was still available. Another dealership had recently sold a car out from under me even with an appointment- Brian Myers held the car and the keys personally for us until we got there. He was friendly and personable- along with the other folks there. Brent sat down just to talk to use while we waited for the paperwork to be written up. One of their other dealerships even held a couple cars for my parents to look at while we were there. Any snags or questions we have had since the time of purchase have been answered and resolved easily. We realized the car was missing the SD Navigation card and Brian made sure we got it along with mailing us the second key for the car that we thought would have to be remade. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone else looking for a great car and great service. Ask for Brian!

The folks at Harper JRCD are honest and helpful people. I had a very pleasant experience beginning with my salesman (Dan). Even in the time of COVID, he was able to get me quick responses to questions about the vehicle, pricing, etc. Despite a small, unintentional hiccup during the buying process, the team (including the finance department and general manager) was able to go above and beyond to assist me. If you would like a pleasant Jeep-buying experience, I'd recommend checking out Harper. In addition, a nice perk they offer for all of their JRCD vehicles is a free lifetime limited powertrain warranty- I didn't come across this at any other dealership, but I could be wrong. Do not take your recall work here! They will not give you a loaner vehicle, they have none, and will not pay for the rental car you are forced to get. We were told to get a rental car through Enterprise at the airport, which beware this dealership does not have a contract with. Now I am forced to pay out of pocket $715 for a the rental and might get reimbursed through their parent company within the next 2 months. what should have happened; had me return the airport rental car the next day and put the rental under the dealerships name. Will update if anything changes.

I did a quick Google search for Jeep grand Cherokees. I was looking for the Limited or Overland in the 2013+ range after driving one a few days prior and was turned down by another dealership. I came across their 2014 limited. They had it at the detail shop and were expecting it back within the day or possibly the next day. My salesman was able to get the vehicle back in time for me to come look at it when I requested. After driving it I knew I was going home with it and Tony Cole and his coworkers worked very hard to make it happen! I've had it several days now and I am so glad I made the switch to a Jeep! When I bought my brand new 2020 jeep I was told how easy it was to make appointments with the service department when I needed anything. Well...here I am a year later with a back hatch window that won't stay open unless I use a 2x4 and a sun visor that won't stay attached to its spot. I have made several calls. Only a handful of times have I gotten an actual person and even then it's only been to tell me they will call back. Spoiler alert, they never called back. I've dealt with it because it feels minor but honestly it's wearing on me. It's a brand new car. It has 8,000 miles on it when I bought it, I am the only owner. I expected more when I got such gushing reviews. I'm disappointed honestly.
