I dealt with Harford bank while attempting to purchase an investment property. I was directed to the bank by a loan officer from another company who had met an employee from this bank at a networking engagement. I spoke with the bank and we started working on a plan to purchase the home. I have bought a house before and did a fair amount of research on my options for purchasing a investment property, and this bank came up with a plan I had never really heard of. So, trusting they were professionals I followed their plan. I started an LLC., kept in contact with the bank, and then I stopped hearing from them. A few weeks after I got a call from a member of the bank simply telling me they apologize for the plan and that they do not do business in Baltimore City. Wasted two weeks and a few hundred bucks.
