My husband and I went in to the dealer with a vehicle in mind to purchase. I can’t say that I’ve has such a smooth transaction any where else from previous purchases. Alex there was helpful and easy to work with. We were in and out in about 2 hours. Not that that’s typical, but beyond that I’d say it was a very simple no back and forth on a price. Everyone and everything was straight forward and to the point. Yes I’d return here if ever we do decide to make another purchase in the future.

Estimate on time and price was incorrect. He provided a two hour wait and ended up being over four hours. He quoted a price of around $300 and ended up being over $450. I received a call back to resolve the issue I had which proves that they do care for their customers. This restored my confidence and respect for Gunn Chevrolet. I appreciate it and will continue to have vehicle serviced there.

I specifically let them know I needed an oil change and was concerned about my tires. They said they'd have the tech check my tires. I know the tread looked good but my concern in the Texas heat was more with the inner wall that appears to be cracking. Either way upon it being done no one even spoke to me. The girls at the checkout were nice enough to print out the checklist for me which a few items were marked "red" and yet again no one even bothered to mention them.

After the first Tech looked at my truck and said it would be 1Jun before they could get me an appointment, Eric said he’d take it and call me when ready…I wouldn’t drive any further w/my steering wheel angle sensor problem. Eric called the next day and said it’s done…and it was fixed! Amazing! Great service w/a friendly smile and great courtesy. TY

My husband and I just purchased a 2022 Suburban from here and we had the absolutely best experience! We ordered our truck last October and our salesman Roger Juarez was the absolute best! I cannot recommend him enough! We knew to expect it to take a while but he continuously kept us updated and always answered all our questions! I tried to call Gunn this morning with a simple question about the car and the tires I bought my daughter last year. After getting transferred 3 times and then it rings and disconnects. I waited an hour to call back. Got the run around again. Someone finally transferred me to finance to see if I had bought the warranty, I had left a message. Lets see if they call me back. I can honestly say just from this experience which may be small and with no one trying to help, I would never buy a car here or recommend this dealership. Update: I did receive a call back from review and I got my answer. Thank you, one simple question with a simple answer. I appreciate it.

Beware! When you use their very vague trade in value on their website they will offer you the lowest of the numbers....Per their software, they were valuing my vehicle from $43k to $48k. Their offer was $43k. Their excuse was that since my tires had 20k miles on them they would need to put new tires on my car before resaleing. The true value of my car per their evaluation was $46k to $57k but they reduced it due to destination charges, make ready, etc. The vehicle I was looking at was well over priced and I even asked for new tires and was told NO. They let the deal go over $1k difference. The sales was polite but chose not to make the deal!

We already knew what we wanted when we arrived. Ben had the vehicle brought up for s test drive. It was exactly what I thought it would be. I had done all my research. Ben was able to get them to match my trade in quote from another dealership. I came pre-approved but their fiance person Maddie was awesome and got me a better rate. Overall process was 2.5 hours. Visited Gunn Chevrolet as an established customer for routine Oil & Filter service on my Chevy Trail Boss. On previous visits for Oil & Filter services on my Corvette and other trucks, I had noticed discrepancies with the services requested and prices at the time of picking up the vehicle. Interestingly, this always happened only when Mrs. Alyssa Cantu would serve as my service advisor. On my last visit, a $75 over was noted. As usual, Mrs. Cantu would claim that the prices were continuously going up and that she had no control over the increase in prices due to the economy. This time, I decided to double check her allegations for higher prices. Surprisingly, through one of her co-workers, I discretely found out that it appears to be Mrs. Cantu's practice to ADD UNREQUESTED SERVICES to customer's invoices WITHOUT telling the customer so that her check was bigger via greater commissions...a VERY DECEPTIVE, IMMORAL, UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. Mrs. Cindy Valle (Manager) was notified and she refunded the transaction. Mrs. Valle was very professional and showed a lot of concern about the issue. Later that same day Mr. Jeff Busby who introduced himself as the Asst. GM called me to apologize and indicated that he would bring the issue up to the dealership's management as these type of actions are the "face" of the institution and certainly represent the way in which the dealer operates and cares for the customers. I recommended that Mr. Busby pulls Mrs. Cantu's records and verifies her transactions. I feel very bad for the many customers that may have overpaid for unrequested/unnecessary services so that Mrs. Cantu's pocket could be filled with a little more UNEARNED MONEY. Not sure if the issue was ever brought up to their higher management.

The person handling the service did an excellent job keeping me informed and insuring the vehicle was services quickly. When I went to get into the vehicle, the seat protective plastic was ripped exposing the seat and the floor protection was crumbled and off to one side. There was also an open pack of cigarettes left in the car. Rather disappointing conclusion

Hands down the worst car buying experience ever, the sales person wasn't very helpful, didn't give daily updates on the vehicles status. We waited a week after giving all our information for the credit check and making a deal on the price. The vehicle had a recall which they took it to get looked at and All they said was that it could be a week or month before it gets fixed. During the week we didn't receive daily updates on the status of the vehicle, which I had to call the dealership they took it to and ask what's the status on the repair and how long it'll take. Which is something I shouldn't have to do. They were quick to sell the vehicle but weren't professional to call us to give us updates! Needless to say we walked away without purchasing from this dealership and took our business elsewhere, we drove 300 miles away to get the vehicle we wanted when all they had to do was gives us updates.

Sales reps were very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that they are slow with getting back to me after I emailed or text them with questions. They seemed to be very busy with their customer New Review. Had my oil changed at Gunn & the ladies at the reception area are very nice and efficient. The mechanics changed my oil faster than expected and I’m very pleased with their service.

Purchased a vehicle back in January been having problems ever since then. Til this day my vehicle has been in and out of Servicing for the same issue. When I ask for and update all I get is they will call me back after they talk with the tech/advisor. Soon as I tell the sales rep you sold me a lemon. He wants to try to put me a different vehicle. That is not worth putting myself in a hole for. And instead tells me well you have warranty let them fix it. I wouldnt have to use my warranty so soon if they new how to do their jobs and resolve the issue. We called again for an update there’s no communication. When we threaten to bring our lawyers all he says is go ahead then we won’t fix your vehicle.

Everyone that I talked with from the time that I first called Gunn Service, describing the issue I had with my truck until I came and picked my truck up, was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. This means Geof Busby and Amber Garcia filled those main roles. But their colleagues and support personnel where also very polite & helpful. I think Gunn is unmatched in service compared to competing Chevy dealers like Valmark.

I took in a new Tahoe in for its first oil change as well as to repair a loud squeaking noise. When the receptionist and the service advisor told me the car was ready, I asked to learn more on the cause of the noise. They each said they needed to check with the technician who repaired it. When the service advisor returned he said it was not fixed, and that he had in fact heard the noise when the vehicle was coming up the drive to be given to me. I asked him why it was not fixed and he couldn’t provide an answer and would only say I needed to make an appointment for a future date. Throughout the process he seemed very uninterested in helping or providing solutions. He left me to the scheduler and quickly walked away.

Service Manager looked up the History on my Family, GM Vehicle purchases. Fix my problem for 1/2 the cost on a "good faith" estimate. I told him I would be back...

Came to Gunn Chevrolet for an oil change. I purchased service package when I bought my truck from ancira (1 Year prior) and still charged for oil change. Gunn stated I should have informed them earlier. I did inform consultant at dropoff that I had a service package for free oil changes but did not really think it was necessary as to wear I bought the truck since Gunn is is a Chevrolet dealership. Also it seems logical if I informed them prior and it could be honored, then why could they not have adjusted the charge. Bottom line is I paid $149 for a service I already paid.

I am really impressed with the Gunn Chevrolet Dealership in Selma, Texas. I was shopping for a small car and looked at 2 different dealerships who tried to take advantage of me with a bunch of added fees and only wanted to give me $500 for my previous car’s trade-in value. They were only thinking of the best interest of themselves in how much they would profit off me and did not care of the best interest in what I was looking for in my price budget. However, Gunn Chevrolet stood out to me with outstanding customer service the moment I walked in! I want to thank the Sales Director, Tommy Thompson for giving me honest feedback and a fair price for my Honda Fit trade in! I also would like to thank Ben Camarero for greeting me at my appointment and Daniel Evans for helping me set up my On-Star account. They both were really helpful showing and letting me know how to work everything in my new car. Also, thank you to Josh González for answering all my finance questions and making sure I understood everything. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this dealership and highly recommend them! Overall Gunn took great care of my car. They replaced my battery (under warranty) and performed a couple of recalls (computer updates), deleted my check engine codes (erroneous codes triggered by a weak battery) and changed my oil (first oil change for my car). In addition, they cleaned and vacuumed my car. No charge for anything (warranty work, free first oil change & a courtesy wash).

I walked in the glass office with multiple people sitting behind the counter and everyones eyes were on me but no acknowledgement. A few moments after another employee walked in the same door I did and right away asked if I needed assistance. He directed me to another employee who helped me with my tire. The employee was David. As I was browsing the lot I had a salesman approach me who was also very interactive with me. His name is Greg Rollock. I then walked inside the sales floor after talking with Greg and was not acknowledged from anyone. I even sat there to cool off for about 10 minutes.

Stopped today to look at a used Bronco on the lot with my son. Salesman opened the Bronco and started motor but immediately told us it was $76000 and we couldn’t test drive it because they didn’t want to put any more miles on it. Apparently they thought we couldn’t afford it. Little did they know we were rear ended and looking for a new Bronco. Would never shop with Gunn again they apparently discriminate based on how you look!

The experience was wonderful. Everyone was incredibly friendly. My salesperson Ben and finance officer Mattie were AWESOME! They made the whole experience wonderful. I ended up with the car I wanted and finance I wanted. Totally would recommend Gunn as while as Ben and Mattie. Another very impressive thing about Gunn was how clean the showroom was. They go above and beyond making sure everything is clean and wiped down during COVID.

Service department is unsat. 1)Previously owned a 2021 Camaro and the brakes constantly squealed, brought it in with 3000 miles and they replaced rotors. Brakes continued to squeal constantly but we just dealt with it, brought it again (10,000 miles) and the service department told me unless there was a bulletin or recall then I just to deal with it. I work in customer service, I’m a regional manager for my company, if I EVER told a customer I’m sorry, you just gotta deal with it instead of correcting it I’d probably be unemployed. Needless to say we traded that Camaro in with 12,000 miles and upgraded to a new Cadillac. 2) Recently purchased a 2021 Black Ops edition Silverado and brought it all the way back to Texas from NC. At 8,000 miles the engine started to have a small squeak upon start up. Brought it in for an oil change and service dept was able to verify the sound. I brought it back a couple weeks later and again they tried a few things but it did not resolve the issue. I was once again told that the Service Dept Manager said that there was nothing else they could do as that sound was considered “normal”. There are 3-2021 Silverados in my family and mine is the only one that makes this sound upon startup, it is obviously not the norm. This truck MSRP well over 85k and it should not have any issues like this or if it does they should all be resolved. Telling a customer that you can’t or won’t do anything more to resolve the issue is unsatisfactory and there is plenty of room to level up in that dept. I live in Cibolo area and I plan on going to New Braunfels or Freedom Chevrolet for service from here on as Gunn Chevy does not provide great “service”. -RH

WE had to have our windshield replaced on our 2021 Tahoe. We were very concerned about getting the CORRECT windshield because of the Heads up display. Alyssa Cantu our Express Advisor old me he would make sure or was The right windshield. She called me to keep me updated on the process . Sh did a super professional job. My car drop was good. The associates friendly. I got a call later on telling me they recommended doing more work. Over the phone they quoted me it would cost $441. I verbally agreed es to the price. The problem started when I picked up my car. I don’t remember the name of the lady that helped me but she said my total was $578. I told her I was quoted 441 and she proceeded to look over the paper work and could not figure out the price they had quoted me. I proceeded to tell her the price they quoted me plus tax would be 477. She did some more checking and even asked the person who spoke to me over the phone and eventually she ended up charging me 489. As I was talking to her about the situation she proceeded to become irritated with me. She explains that I should have gotten an email or text with the pricing, which I did not. And also said the price should not have been given to me verbally. Eventually I agreed es to pay the 489. After she went and got my car she was very short and not friendly when she said she left my car running. I would not recomiendo any one going to get their car serviced at Gunn Chevy. This is not the first time I have had an issue with my car serviced there. I will be taking by business elsewhere. It is not my fault the person did not follow correct process for my price quote And the lady that checked me out was not very nice when I was trying to understand the price difference.

I love Gunn Chevrolet. Getting an oil change is always a seemless process. I don’t even have to make an appt. I drop off my vehicle, John(shuttle guy) is my favorite. He’ll come pick me up and drop me off at the gym. By the time I’m done my car is usually ready and he’ll come pick me up. I pay and im outta there. I love that everything runs pretty smoothly there. Everyone is friendly, I trust my vehicle with them, and I know what to expect every time. Makes getting an oil change or any service not seem like such a headache. Service is not as good as it used to be. Now there is a loss of trust. I have loved going to Gunn, but I have loose parts that were not reconnected! O2 sensors just dangling and a ripped off engine cover! Sensors could be damaged now too. This looks to have triggered an emissions error code. Feel quite unsafe having driven my car to Austin and back to SA this way. Also, was told that I have a valve cover leak, but I can't see it. Oil near cap up top because cover not reinstalled correctly, but no oil below. I am completely unsatisfied. I love my Camaro and it looks to have been torn apart and just left that way! Not to mention the service advisor said the mechanic was working on 4 others cars. Which explains the poor service.

My car was having multiple issues with acceleration and shaking. After having a mechanic look at the vehicle they said that Chevy had a warranty on the valve cover that was causing the issues. I called and spoke to the service representative Paul at Gunn Chevy, and was told that they were booked out until October but if I dropped the vehicle off they can try a squeeze it in to have it diagnosed. I received a call from Paul the next day and he told me that they had already fixed my car. My vehicle is now running great! I received exceptional customer service from Paul and would definitely recommend them in the future!!

Purchased a 2021 Silverado back in April and I started to have minor issues with it already during some very hard times in my life loosing a family member to this virus. Overall, my experience was exceptional. Ben was great! He was efficient, well spoken and organized. The only knock I have with this sale was the vehicle was a demo, it was clearly stated. My complaint is Gunn could’ve spent a few bucks to have the 70k vehicle cleaned and detailed. Whomever the demo driver was enjoyed a day or two at the beach with their dog. The vehicle had sand and dog hair throughout. Not a deal breaker, but presentation matters.

The oil change was fairly quick while I waited in the warm waiting area enjoying some free quality coffee. I didn't have an appointment for the service, but I lined up in the service lane at 6:45, before they opened at 7am.

Well, my issue was not a common one I suppose. The roof on my convertible top got stuck in the not open not closed position. I took my car in on June 28th and did not get it back till the 22nd of August. I understand that it took sometime and that it was a complex problem and was ok with that, however I do remember calling once, after my car had been in the shop for more than a month, to get an update and was told that the tech who was working on my car was pulled to another project and that is what upset me most because even after a month it seemed like my car was not a priority. Other than that I am pleased with the repair and will always go to Gunn for my future needs.

Everything was great up until the financing. Just because I use my own bank no hard feelings man. The fact that he couldn’t offer me any other coverages made him give such a petty experience. The guy needs to get laid. Average height chubby Latino finance manager. Ben Camarero did an amazing job updating and keeping my in the loop with my transaction. Made this an experience of purchasing another vehicle witch I will this upcoming year.

I was very satisfied with Eric & the first oil change maintenance I received. After I attended on a mix up of dates he welcomed me to move forward with the service. While I waited I appreciated the amenities & service as I was not able to have my wheel locks present but he informed me of my options. I did end up having a prissy tire I notified him of & as I've called back my phone service has been great also. Currently awaiting a follow up response & will update as my experience allows on Google.

The shuttle driver was Amazing! Car wash was ok minus the front end was horrible (not sure the brushes touched) The maintenance personnel got a small smudge of oil or residue on inside ceiling! But other than that service was good! Thank you

I brought my car in for a scheduled service appointment. I arrived early and was told that they would get to me but it could take longer because they were busy. It was recommended for extra services and I agreed to them. When I paid and left I noticed the filter reading was still at 50% same as before the service that I turned around and went back. I explained why I returned and was told they did change the filters but forgot to reset the warning. The person in the service area then jumped in my vehicle and reset the warning…I’m sorry but I feel that the might be cheating me and just changed the reading and did not change the filters. I then asked why the car wasn’t washed vacuumed ( vehicle behind was being vacuumed) and was told it wasn’t washed because I didn’t ask for it. I then questioned the tire pressure for tire each one was a different rate and since I just had the tires rotated I felt that the pressure should have been checked and same on all 4. I am disappointed with the service I have received I felt like I was bothering them when I questioned what was going on. I brought in a coupon that was mailed to me for the oil change and coupon stated was car and check fluids and tire pressure was all part of the services. Over all I was unhappy with services because I felt like I was being cheated (were my air filters really changed?). It is bad when I make a conscious effort to return to the location were the vehicle was purchased for service…maybe I need to go to another dealership instead

Though I ultimately got the service I scheduled it took far to much reminding the Gunn staff what Customer Service looks like. I shouldn't have had to fight as hard as I did to get the service I deserved and scheduled. From my first interaction to the last it was a fight and I didn't ever get the feeling they even genuinely cared that they were dropping the ball. I won't put myself through that type of treatment on purpose again. Gunn Chevrolet showed me who they are and I believe them because they can't give just do what's right without a push.

Great customer service. Are salesperson was Jacob Rodriguez. He helped me look for the perfect truck . He kept in touch with Me for about 2 weeks even on his days off until finally he found the truck that I have been looking for a couple of months. Jacob was very knowledgeable with the truck I was buying answered all my questions, he was great to my wife and myself very nice young man went above and beyond. Thank you Jacob . Seamless process to trade my vehicle in for another one. Sal (Salvador Meza) was a great salesman. He was very polite, helpful, and not the usual pushy, predatory type of salesperson I've encountered in the past at other dealerships. I got the trade in value that I wanted for my vehicle, and the new vehicle that I wanted with no issues. The express lane for oil changes was a good experience. Many dealerships do appointments but still take 2-3 hours to finish a routine service. I was in and out of there on a same-day service in about 1.5-2.0 hours. Not bad at all.

Service team got me in early on a Tuesday morning and was great from start to finish, very communicative! The waiting area is awesome and the dealership is incredibly clean. I dropped of my car to have a sunroof leak repaired. The service rep was very friendly. Courteous and professional. He had a helpful attitude. My repairs were done and my vehicle was delivered earlier than promised.

Took my car in for a routine 105000 mile check up. Found out I needed a lot of work but it was explained to me what could wait and what needed immediate attention. Only took a few days to get parts and have the services complete. Did not pressure me to do anything and did not start on anything until they had my verified approval. I will be going back to get some of the services I put off. Definitely recommend to anyone for services.

Follow Up: Paul responded quickly and professionally! Gunn/Paul took care of everything I requested! They were very friendly and ensured I was taken care of! I’m very happy with the outcome! Great job, much appreciated! Where do I begin? 1. I used the chat feature on the website to schedule a service appointment, chatted with an actually person to schedule the appointment and requested a call back to explain what I needed done. She informed me my appointment was set and I would receive a call prior to my appointment! I called 4 days before my appointment, no history of my appointment being scheduled! I was told the chat feature and those who schedule it do not communicate with the service department! Waste of my time chatting for 30 plus minutes. 2. My service pro Paul was very professional, he did a great job! However, I went there to get 100,000 mile tune up / service! Paul provided a list of things the tech recommended and I approved everything because I really wanted to have my car serviced for the next 100,000, cost was not an issue! I was told belts were recommended for change, again I approved all recommendations! I get there thinking everything was done! Nope, the belts were not changed! Was told they didn’t have them and that it was only recommended, my reply was I approved the recommendation, therefore I recommended as the customer to change them! Not done! 3. When I got home I check under the hood and seen a hose or hose that protected the wiring torn up, wires exposed which it was not like that when I brought the car in! I took pictures and sent them to Paul! I spent over $1000 dollars, details matter! It makes me seriously wonder what was really done to my car! Was there short cuts, did everything that I paid for really get done? Paul said he would take care of getting my hoses replaced! I was asked to get things changed I agreed and it was not done! Waiting for a solution from Gunn for the next step!

Inquired about a pickup they had the salesman ran everything told me my down payment price I got him all info on my trade called the next day and he had not entered anything or even worked on my deal. They don’t seem like they want to sell vehicles

I want to Thank Michael Brown in service for great customer service. My cars coolant hose connector broke. With no coolant in my engine I had to get it towed to Gunn Chevrolet. Michael Brown was able to look at my car and get me estimates after I arrived. He had all repairs done the next day. Once again THANK YOU!

My experience was phenomenal. I called to inquire about an online vehicle being available, the person stated yes. Then called me back stating the car was being tinted and detailed to test drive it the next morning. He text me information on date and time and which person to speak with since he was not going to be in. Once I arrived I asked for Ben and he brought the car around. He was very understanding about me waiting in my car with my kids due to Covid and had no issues accommodating our social distancing requests. Ben was very polite and kind in both English and Spanish. He made us feel like the car was ours without us even having a final decision. He show cased the add ons and answered all of our questions. It was very delightful not feeling like he was trying to force the sale. We stated we were paying cash and he moved very quickly to get us on our way. They updated us on the process so we wouldn't be sitting there not knowing what was taking so long and often offered refreshments. All the staff greeted us and were kind and not one looked bothered at my screaming 1 year old. We had a small hiccup at the end but Ben was available to help even after we drove off the lot.

I was due for services and had a transmission issue to correct as well. The service department was excellent in how they treated me and were very efficient in a smooth drop off and loaner pickup. Jeff Busby explained what was the concern and handled it with no second guessing his advice. I have worked at the local Cadilac dealerships for years . I have purchased at least fifteen vehicles over the years and I must say that my experience at Gunn Chevrolet has by far been the best. From the warm reception that I received upon entering the facility by the receptionist to all of my encounters with other staff members, i knew that I arrived at the right place. My Sales rep was a young man name Trent Williams. His product knowledge, professionalism, and above all his patience let me know that I was in good hands. After I selected the vehicle I wanted, he briefed me on all aspects of my selection. He answered all of my questions without exception and again displaying his knowledge and expertise. He also briefed me on all of my add-ons and help me make the right decision on my selections. I requested a pickup date for my Vehicle and he assured me that he would do everything in his power to make it happen. Not only did he keep me telephonically informed on all of the upgrades i requested, he delivered on his promise on the pickup date. The day that I picked my vehicle up, he patiently briefed me on all operational aspects of my vehicle. Once again he displayed his knowledge and expertise.. This young man put the "Q" in quality when it comes to customer service. I can honestly say setting aside the extra add-ons I requested it took 1/ 5 the time to purchase this vehicle than all of my past purchases. found a new home for my future vehicle needs. Started the process online Monday 24th of July at 12-noon, by 3-pm I was being called in for a test drive. Steve Boswell was great to work with. He was able to find the vehicle that met our needs. I look forward to working with him again for our next vehicle. The service department on the other hand leaves something to be desired. I've had the truck less than a month and I'm having to take it back for a second time about a "service steering column lock" message. A 1 1/2 hr drive round trip is not fun 2 weeks in a row about a truck I haven't made a payment on yet. So, they got it fixed and made things right. On a side note, just bought a traverse for my wife. I'm very pleased at the moment, so is she.

I purchased a liner for my truck bed. When the dealership was done with the job, they parked my truck in a dark area. I inspected to liner as much as I could and found a flaw immediately. The liner did not sit flat so I asked the service person if this was normal. He said the liner should set and lay flat over time. The next morning when I went out to check the liner again, I was in a state of shock at the quality of the liner. In addition to what I noticed about the liner not laying flat, it was dirty, scratched and in some corners the liner appeared to be forced into the corner. Basically, it was a hot mess!!! I was so disappointed that Gunn would allow something like this to even leave their dealership. I went back later that day and they replaced it with no questions asked. I gave the performance a 4 because they fixed the problem immediately but can't give it a 5 because this should not of happen. This was something that was visible to see. I will still recommend Gunn to others because all-in-all they do have good customer service. Their staff are very respectful and courteous and I will continue to use this dealership for future services.

IF I COULD RATE ZERO STARS . I took my 2015 Chevy Traverse for a diagnostic, and was quoted$6700.00 in service and repair. I was told by Eric that my car needed a brand new transmission , because it was beyond repair and it needed immediate action ,required on my vehicle. I was also told I only needed to replace my front motor mounts. I could not believe I needed a new transmission, because my car only have less than a 130K miles. I declined all services and asked for my vehicle back. I took my car to Selma Auto Repair and they did a new diagnostic and they found that my transmission was completely empty and that it did not need replacing. Gunn told me that they checked my fluids and that it smelled burned but not that it was empty. Selma Auto checked my motor mounts and found that I needed all mounts replaced not just the front. I’m disappointed because I rented a car to travel back and forth until Gunn was finished and I’m still in a rental because my car was misdiagnosed by Gunn. I felt like I was taken advantage of because I’m a woman that was overly trusting in this establishment. I was given an appointment two weeks out and still was not given a correct diagnosis. My point is that Gunn told me my transmission fluid smelled burnt , my torque converter shuddered and that’s why I needed to replace it. After I took my car for a second opinion, Selma Auto found my transmission fluid completely empty and that the vehicle shudders was from the motor mounts needing replacement. I was misdiagnosed and I have completely lost all trust in Gunn Chevy in Schertz.

The staff at Gunn are always nice. The techs are engaging and thoughtful... and this is a Chevy dealer... who else would know how to work on your Chevy better than a Chevy dealer. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely be taking my truck back to Gunn if it ever needs work again. I say this because in the 6 years I've had it, this is the first major repair its needed.

I had a great experience buying my truck from Gunn Chevrolet. I saw a vehicle I was interested in online, was contacted by Steven Boswell to setup and confirm an appointment time to look at the vehicle. When I showed up Steven had everything lined up and ready to go. I test drove the vehicle. The vehicle was exactly what I was looking for at a great price but still needed to think about it and didn’t get any pressure from Steven which is good because there’s always enough when buying a vehicle. Decided I wanted to buy the vehicle the next day so I sent Steven a text with the down payment and payments I needed to be comfortable with and within minutes he had taken care of it. I arrived that day after work and signed all the paperwork within an hour. All in all I had a great experience it was quick and easy no haggling, no pressure, no long draw out process. I had a 1pm appointment appointment for routine maintenance. They had no record of my appointment. Since I needed an oil change, they suggested I use the Express Service and then the 51 point check would determine anything that needed to be done and I could schedule an appointment to come back for that, but they were currently booked at least a week out. Express Service took 3 hours. The waiting room was nice with WiFi, beverages and snacks. That was the highlight of the whole experience. They were cheaper than Jiffy Lube, but I prefer the quicker service.

I have purchased two Silverado trucks from Gunn Chevrolet. Gunn has always taken good care of my vehicles. It seems now that my vehicles become older I find that Gunn Cheverlet does not have mechanics anymore but parts replacement people. You can purchase more extended warranty for a price but my most recent experience proved to me that their customer care values are not there anymore. I’m sorry to say that but seems to be proven now. I’ll see how long my vehicles will fair now until all my warranties expire.

If you are going to visit this dealership, ask for Jose. I had a great car buying experience because of his customer service and superb knowledge of the vehicles. When we pulled up, he greeted us warmly and asked us some basic questions. Within a few seconds, he had an idea of what I wanted. He asked us if we wanted to ride in the golf cart since it was so hot out, we agreed. But this is where he went above and beyond! He told us to wait in the AC, while he ran in to get us some waters for the ride. It’s the little things! I contacted your dealership 3 times to get a quote on an oil change and how to use Chevrolet points to pay for it. No one could answer my questions, and Alyssa nor the cashier returned messages that I left for them. Very frustrating. Recommend better training for your service drive personnel. I had an 1130 am apt. And when I asked a gentleman at 12 noon how much longer before my vehicle would be taken back, he said it will be a while. I informed him of my apt. time. Then he told me of short staffing. I suggested that the customer be told of that upon arrival and the they can make the decision to wait or reschedule. At 1230pm my vehicle was taken back. I only needed an oil change. I also asked how many Apts they take at a time, nobody had an answer.

I purchased a 2021 Silverado 1500 LT with a Duramax 3.0 6 cylinder engine. Not even 100 miles on the vehicle in the rear end suspension is already making clunking sounds. The reason why I'm not able to give this dealership five stars is because I specifically requested to the salesperson to not shotgun my credit. He assured me my credit would only be ran through two or three lenders. They ran my credit through more than twice that. If you buy from this dealership make sure you secure your own financing and do not let them check your credit.

Primary reason for visit was to finally have dangerous Takata air bag replaced under warranty. Accomplished perfectly well under estimated time stated ; no problems. Upon arrival discovered LR taillight assembly was detached and hanging by electrical wiring. Gunn replaced this at reasonable cost also while I waited. Then had Dexos oil change. Service Advisor "Cody" was the true professional who made this all happen ! Kudos Gunn and Cody!

One simple price is right! I had went to another dealership before I came here, the salesman that helped me was so aggressive trying to sell me this black SUV so bad, that was the color I did not even want! My vehicle was with Gunn Chevy for over a month and a half approximately only because of the COVID-19 situation and during this time I was always taken care of and keep updated on my vehicle. Gunn was the one that took their time to check my vehicle and found the problem and were able to get it fixed. I recommended Gunn 100%!!! I will always go back from now on. Made an appointment for a oil change 1t 1430, was not told at check in tat it may take a little while since I noticed their was a number of cars in front of the line. After 1530 I noticed my car still out in line 3 cars back, I asked why the problem and not informed it be longer !!! After 1640 after noticing my car in the parking area out back of the service office I went to the payment office and said my cars is out -- let me pay. Not a very good report for a major auto company that needs better communications for the customer

I live in Ft. Worth and was headed to Padre Island for some vacation time with family when my 2013 GMC Yukon began making strange noises and running poorly. I stopped in one dealership who told me they were too busy to do anything that day, but directed me to Gunn. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by service advisor Charles Clark. After I explained my situation, he offered a rental car to help me out. We made it to our destination with a slight delay. The next day, he informed me of the diagnosis which required a major repair. During the whole process, Charles kept me informed and I was able to retrieve my car within my schedule with the repair performed at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Gunn, and especially Charles Clark if your GM car is in need of service.

We moved from NC to TX last year, and I generally use chevy dealerships for service on my vehicle. I’ve always had a great experience with them letting me know if my car is good to go and even get a run down or report on if something needs to be fixed or if tires are getting low or anything at all. I’ve went to this dealership a few times now and have not gotten very good or friendly service. I’ve never received a report and I know my tires were needing to be replaced soon. My husband and I will be looking for a different place to service our vehicle and hoping for better, friendlier environment.

This review is for the service department. I recently bought a 2020 Colorado Diesel that has been in the shop a little less than half the time I’ve owned it. Positive side, my service rep (Michael) has been great in communicating with me on timelines, getting me lined up with loaners when I needed them and even apologizing for GM when they were slow to send parts (not Gunn Chevys fault). Proves that even though your vehicle turns out to be not-so-great; your service rep can still provide great customer support!

Update: Jeff called immediately and expressed concern regarding this matter. The problem has been taken care of. Parts and Services Customers BEWARE When I brought my car in for an oil change I did not realize I had coverage. Nor did this location. So, I paid for an oil change. When I had taken my oil change at a different location I was then notified I did have coverage. I went to parts and services and brought it to their attention. I was told An advisor by the name of Cody would contact me. Never did. A week later I called. Customer service automatically told me no. I wouldn’t be issued a refund. The matter wasn’t looked into when I called. I was just told “No!” Again, I brought it to to their attention in person. I was told I would not be refunded due to the date when it occurred. Therefore, please be aware. Employees did not take responsibility and kept my money. Sadly, i feel ripped off. Who knows what attentions they have when they sell you a car. The low ratings simply say it all. I won’t be returning.

Edit: The sales portion as stated below was a great experience. Financing is a complete disaster. 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle, the financing manager messages saying they are missing a signature on a form we never needed to fill out since we were pre approved already directly through the bank. Then through further investigation, the dealership sent in an approval form to the bank which made it hit our credit twice when it wasn’t necessary. The finance manger wasn’t of much assistance and kept insisting they didn’t do this. The bank says otherwise, but couldn’t back it out since it had already gone through. All the dealership could do was say sorry. Never once tried to make things right. Needless to say, I signed incorrect forms for the dealership so they would just leave me alone. Be careful purchasing here and dealing with their financing department. I usually stay away from this dealership because of their no haggle mindset, but I caved and I’m glad I did. I went in looking at a truck and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Vincent. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about his job. He never got pushy or hard to deal with. He made the buying experience enjoyable, and for me to say I enjoyed purchasing a vehicle from a large dealership says a lot. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I will recommend Vincent to all of my friends when they are buying a new vehicle.

I went in for an oil change for my car and Mr. Juarez was very professional and very informative. He took great care of my car and was very polite. Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly. Management should be very proud of this team they are great and I am definitely going to get my car serviced here again. As a Law Enforcement Officer in Austin, Texas, I have always purchase a Chevrolet truck every two years here in Austin. Took car in for three reasons: replace blower, replace hatch-door latch, repair STABILITRAK error. Received quote from dealer stating that I needed to replace or repair engine. $6k for rebuild, $9k for replacement. Only 65k miles on the engine. Common engineering defect with the engine. Special repair program had expired. Told that the engine excessively burns oil and that it was low on oil when I brought it in. Very diligent with oil changes. Not about to spend a huge amount of cash on a ten- year-old third car. Turned down the engine repair/replacement and had the other issues dealt with. $2500. When I picked it up on 4/1/2022, I asked the service guy if oil had been added. He told me, "Of course." Engine light came on on the way home. Checked the car in my home driveway. 3 quarts low. But that's not the end. Today I went to lock the car with the key FOB. Nothing. Tried to start the car. Nothing. Popped the hood. The battery cover was laying loosely on top of the battery. The positive terminal was completely loose. It had not been tightened even a little. Ridiculous!

This review is based on my last visit to Gunn Chevrolet on 11 February 2022. The personnel with whom I interacted were my service advisor in the "Express" lane (Michael) and my cashier (Victoria). I'd brought my vehicle for a state inspection and oil change (which includes tire rotation). The service department opens at 7AM. I arrived at 7:15AM thinking I may be one of the first two or three cars to arrive. Nope! I was fifth in the [first come; first served] Express lane. I figured I'd be there no less than two hours, but probably closer to two and a half even though Michael had estimated approximately an hour and a half wait for me. It took what felt like an hour for my vehicle to be taken from the arrival bay to one of the mechanic bays although it was closer to forty-five minutes. Since I had the state inspection scheduled (which I expected to take at least twice as long as the oil change), I thought for sure I'd be waiting for about another hour and a half. NOPE! I was surprised when about forty minutes later Victoria (the super positive, nice, professional, cashier with the impeccable fingernails) came and told me my vehicle was ready. Michael was spot on in his estimation! I thought I'd be there for at least two and a half hours, but everything was done in about an hour and a half. Michael was professional and proficient at his job, and clearly knows his people and has a very good understanding of the work flow in the service department. Victoria was a ray of sunshine. I almost forgot to mention my technician (Alex H.) who did a great job getting my vehicle in and out quickly without forgetting to pay attention to the details...like remembering to recalibrate/"relearn" the tire pressure monitors to my vehicle after the tire rotation. So many techs forget that. As any true professional/tactician will tell you...details and timeliness count for a lot! This experience at Gunn Chevrolet was great overall. I credit that to Michael and his team of professionals. Thank you.

I took my truck in for some recalls and I have an issue with my seat being stuck. I say this to explain why I gave 3 stars, they charged a $95 diagnostic charge. I think no biggie welp they looked at the back of my seat and said I needed a new seatback(my son broke it) which I was already aware of. I was going to pay until I realized they didn't do what I asked, but one of the employees made it right. I have never had any issues with anything at your dealership so I was surprised to say the least. People have bad days and I think it was just that.q

I scheduled an appointment for service online, which was pretty simple and convenient. My issues were for the Check Engine light that turned on, and for an ongoing issue of stealing and humming brakes on my Chevrolet 2500hd. Upon arrival, was greeted and escorted inside the service desk to gather information and a description of the issues I'm having. I explained the Check Engine light and then explained the squealing brakes. It was clear that the young man helping me was fairly new. Totally understandable. I explained to him that I had done research on the brake issue and discovered that here was a Technical Service Bulletin(TSB #20NA020) that would correct the brake issue. His response was that the tech would make that determination. Fair. The next day, I was called and notified that the truck was ready for pick up. When I got there, i immediately asked what was done to the truck. The same young man explained to me that the Check Engine is was self corrected and the brake dust was cleaned off the brake pads, which according to tech, caused the squealing. Once again, I explained to him that the pads needed to be replaced, according to the service bulletin. He excused himself to go get the truck. Another employee asked for my signatures on the receipts for the service. I argued about the service bulletin with him as well. This was his response: The tech said the pads were still good. Even if they change the pads, they may still squeal. They didn't have any pads in stock and would need to be ordered. AND finally, he didn't know much about diesels. I explained to him that if they continued to squeal, I would return. Well, i stepped out and my truck pulled into the carport. As the trick came to a stop, the annoying squeals were heard. At this point I was pretty furious. I told the young man that the issue needed to be resolved. He walked in for more answers and I followed. I was eventually told that a manager needed to be notified but he was no longer there. They told me they would call me back. The next morning I get a phone call from Gunn asking if I can take the truck in to get the brake pads changed. WOW. I managed to drop off the truck in time to have them complete the job the same day. Late afternoon, I get called notifying me the truck was ready. I went to pick up the truck and left satisfied with the work. However, when I got home, I looked for the wheel lock key. It was no where to be found. I called the service center and after a lot of back and forth, I was told that the tech was certain he put it in the glove box. I checked several times. Then, I was asked to go back the following day to get new wheel locks and key, but they would need to be ordered. One day passes, the I called to a status update. I'm told that they may have found my wheel lock key. I head over immediately and sure enough, it was mine. Although the issues were corrected, the process after making the appointment was such a headache and inconvenient. I chose to give this review 2 stars instead of 1 because I feel like although there were disagreements, the staff remained professional. This is by far my longest review lol.

This was a flawless transaction! Everything was lined up for our purchase, we were told exactly what was needed from us and what to expect during the transaction. Brought my daughter's 2020 Spark into the dealership last year, 10AUG21, for A/C issues. They said they couldn't find an issue. A/C has been in and out since then. She’s damaged bumper since then. Finally scheduled it to have the A/C looked at again. Now I'm being told they can't do any warranty work because of the bumper. If they would have fixed the issue the first time I wouldn’t have had to go back. Then they charged me $95 for a diagnostic not covered under warranty without letting me know.

When i call to schedule my recall for the airbags i was told I would get a loaner vehicle, of course when I showed up at 7am they wouldn’t give me one. Then i was told it would be done by lunch so lunch comes and goes so i call around 1 and they said they are working on it, finally i call again at 3 and said 30 more minutes it will be done. So I finally got it back at 4 i check the cameras in my truck and they didn’t start working on it until 3:15. Basically they just lie about Everything and will be taking my truck somewhere else to make sure it was done correctly since they hurried to get it done

We have been to this dealership twice to try and get parts or service on our suburban. We were told that they can't service vehicles older than 2010 because they can't get parts for them. How in the world can chevy not get their own parts? You can literally get them at any auto parts store and when we took our suburban to Firestone, they were able to get the parts in less than an hour. It concerns me a little that this dealership is not aware of this so I think I will stay away.

Dropped my car, that I bought from the dealership, off for a repair on Wednesday. It is now next week Monday and they said they will work on it today. I’ve had to call at least 2 times to get updates on my vehicle. I’m feeling certain that had I not, it would still be waiting whatever fortune they had planned. I will update when I actually receive my vehicle in my possession.

My car had started malfunctioning on new year's eve and the dealership I bought the car at wouldn't do anything for me so I went to Gunn because it was the closest and John Bishop in the service department provided outstanding service for me with constant updates especially considering that it was a holiday and was able to get my car back to me after only 4, 2 of those days being days that weren't worked due to being a holiday and a Sunday. I would and will be recommending Gunn Chevy and getting help from John Bishop if you can

The staff was actually nice, courteous, and professional. I opted for a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation for $54.99 I believe. I was charged $80+ With no explanation why it was so much more. Now, that coupon was for a 6 quart oil change. I don’t know how much the Silverado 5.3 actually takes but no one explained that to me. No one told me about the air filter, fluid check etc. just simply a “ ok sir your truck is ready”. I didn’t even get the next oil change sticker with date or mileage of next service date. My appointment was at 2 pm and I dropped my truck off at 1. I stayed around for a bit to see if it would be serviced perhaps earlier and it actually did get serviced very quickly. But, no communication as to how fast it would be done. So I got the call that it was done as we pulled in the driveway being that my wife picked me up. That’s not that big of a deal but there’s no communication at all. The people that I talked to at drop off, and the lady I got my keys and final paperwork from were SUPER nice and courteous and professional. It’s not the amount that I had to pay that is the issue, it’s that no one explained to me why it was more than the coupon I opted for. I do understand that my truck may have needed more quarts of oil but not one person went over that with me.

The customer service was good, the speed of service was great but the cleanliness was a 1 star. My dashboard had dirty hand prints all around the area where they replaced the recalled airbag. Upon arriving I was greeted promptly by one of the staff members, he was friendly and professional. I believe his name was Mike. I was told there would be a wait as they had quite a few vehicles ahead of mine. I appreciated the honesty. I was updated on the status of my vehicle periodically. He also informed me of other services that were recommended. I appreciated that as well because I live about 45 minutes away from the dealership and can make it inconvenient to make several trips. My overall experience was great! And that is the reason I keep coming back to Gunn Chevrolet.

We took a test drive and decided this was the one. He had the side steps installed while we were waiting for finance. We were so excited when Ben in the sales department got in touch with us to let us know that a suburban which fit our family‘s needs and budget perfectly had just arrived! With such low inventory we had been looking for a couple weeks and were told that what we wanted was near impossible to find. We were there within the hour and completed a test drive. Daniel, who also assisted us through the whole process was wonderful. He answered all of our questions, showed us all around the new vehicle and made us feel so welcome! We have been showing our brand new beautiful suburban to all of our neighbors and encouraging them to visit Gunn Chevrolet for their next vehicle upgrade! Worse service I have ever experienced from a service dept. Made an appointment for 3:00 pm to have my Tahoe’s first time service. I got there early at 2:30. I noticed other vehicles getting taken on back except for mine— but hey I was early and maybe they had an appointment ahead of me—an hour later my Tahoe is still waiting to be taken back— I asked others in the wait area if they too had made an appointment no one had and ever though they came in after me they still got their service done before me. So it does no good to make an appoint apparently. Finally at 4:45 I get my suv back. I will not be going back to Gunn Chevy for any reason. Did I mention they left trash and car parts in my suv?? Smh I will advise everyone to NOT go here. Worse service ever

I don't understand the $40 increase for an oil change. Also, for the services that were recommended, the price was similar to a package that includes a car wash, yet my car wasn't washed.
As you may be aware the cost of oil is currently very high and the supply extremely limited, synthetics even more so. Unfortunately, we had to increase the costs of this service to keep up with the cost of the raw products. Please know we do everything we can to keep costs as low as possible. I do not recommend this dealership to no one. I took my truck here for service two years ago for rodents eating some wires. After paying $1500 out of my pocket I did some searching and found out chevy uses oil based parts on their vehicles. I called Chevrolet and still didn't want to reimburse me after what I had found out on the parts. Anyways I dont drive the truck much and it still acted up. I took it back to Gunn and said it was good to go and they didn't find anything wrong with it. So I took it to ValMark in New Braunfels and their tech found that Gunn had used the wrong wiring harness and connectors. The connectors weren't even crimped correct. ValMark charged me a diagnostic fee and paperwork to show Gunn. I went back to Gunn and the Service guy even told me the Manager that had my truck worked on was no longer working their and he would see what he can do! I gave him the paperwork and I said I would like to get reimburse on my diagnostic charge at ValMark and I guess that went in one ear and out the other. So a couple days later I got a call and my truck was ready to be picked up. The Manager didnt even mention about the reimbursement and gave me the keys and walked away without saying a word. They didn't even have the time to wash or vacuum the vehicle like ValMark does. Shotty Work! I don't recommend this place to no one. Go on your own risk.

My car was fixed in a timely manner, the young man who took care of me was very professional, however they always wash my car and Vacuumed it. This time they didn’t even put the paper on the floorboards to keep my carpets clean. My son brought me to pick up my car while we were waiting there was a Vietnam veteran who needed his car serviced and washed and detailed. Overhearing the conversation the dealership re fused to do this for the gentleman because he had a handicap ramp on the back of his vehicle. My son offered to take it off because it was just a matter of taking one pin out and he would wait until the car was done and put the ramp back on himself so the gentleman could get his car done, The dealership refused I found this offensive

Wait of 1.5 hours for a scheduled appointment for oil change and tire rotation is a bit excessive. Discovered a gouge and reddish paint on the left front bumper shortly after leaving that wasn’t there when I arrived. Paint package protection purchased when I bought the vehicle so will be back to get that fixed.

Looking at the Gunn Chevy web site, I saw a used car I had to get. The only problem was getting there! I had no car being that I made a recent move from NY, and wouldn't you know it, I recieved a call from Katrisha, a sales rep, who came and picked me up. From explaining the features on the car to her attitude and patience with me thou the intial paperwork was superb. Great service and great people. They take care of you and help to get you in and out quick. The waiting area was thoroughly stocked with teas, water, and other beverages. I got there around 7am and was out little after 8. While that seem like an hour long, rest assured it went by fast. Also the parts department doesn’t open until 8am so that was most of the wait. Service was just an oil change for my Corvette so it was quick and clean. Interior and exterior came back clean with no finger prints or oil drips under the hood like you’d sometimes get at them quick lube places. Highly recommend Gunn Chevrolet for your automotive service needs. Same for parts as they are highly competitive with oem parts. You can’t go wrong with these guys. My service advisor was Michael Juarez and he was very courteous and knowledgeable and careful with my car and insured the work would get done as quickly as possible and kept me informed as I was waiting in the waiting area. Thanks Gunn Chevrolet for a memorable and honest experience. I will be coming back for my service needs.

Finally got the title to the vehicle we purchased 3.5 years ago from Gunn. Not a fan of this dealership. Certainly wouldn’t recommend, but I’m not going to waste further time by elaborating. If they can’t get the title work done correctly, there’s no telling what else they’re inept at doing.

It has been very bad lately, but this last time was the worst. I brought the SUV in, because the battery was dead. I received a call about and hour later that the battery was fine and that one of the cables was loose. Then they told me I needed to do all of this services that will cost me over 600 dlls, I told them to go ahead and take care of the services that were needed? About 2 hours later they have finished the job? and told me that I can go by and pick up my SUV. I went the next day to pick up my truck only to find out that the battery was dead. They couldn’t find my SUV, so I have to walk the lot with the guy that was supposed to bring me the car. When I found my SUV, about 30 minutes later, the battery was dead. I complain to the person in charge and they kept the SUV over the weekend, they still have it. I took my car there for something that was not address, but then charge me all of this money for things they said was needed? I wonder if they even did all the stuff they charge me for, since the main reason that I took my SUV in was not address. But what bothers me the most is the lack of respect for my time. I had to drive on Saturday to go pick up my wife SUV and come back empty handed. I will find another dealership moving forward. I bought my SUV there and have taking it there all of this years, but if my business is not appreciated, I will take my money somewhere else.

I recently purchased a preowned 2020 Ford Raptor from Gunn Chevrolet and had a very pleasant/different buying experience. Having never purchased a vehicle from Gunn prior to this purchase I was not familiar with their one price no haggle policy. The overall experience was hassle free. Thank you to Albert and Mike at Gunn Chevrolet for their no pressure, no gimmicks honest sales approach. The only knock I have on this purchase experience and I admit it’s picky but when I left the dealership I noticed that the truck only had a half tank of gas. I did not contact them to bring that to their attention due to the ice and snow storm we had last week. I’m sure if I did they would’ve addressed the issue. I took my truck for an oil and filters change , they did a therough checked and it needed a few other things which they took care of fixing. The customer rep who helped me was very prompt and professional eventhough I use another dealer for maintenace , however my other dealer takes the time to return my vehicle washed and impecably clean thus the 3 stars

I'm from out of town, I called about a vehicle on their website on a Tuesday at 5pm, sent pictures of my vehicle for trade in, agreed on a price, drove down and picked my new vehicle up on Friday. Very friendly and courteous service. I was in and out in a timely manner and prices seem to be fair. The only thing is, make a tech check the work order twice. They forgot to do a couple the items that I asked them to do when I brought it in for regular maintenance. But did not have time to sit around and wait again. But overall I’m very satisfied with Gunn and would bring my truck back and recommend to anyone.

I wanted to thank Jeff Busby in Fleet Service for the fast and honest work he performed on our old 15 year old Chevy C4500 delivery truck. It took a couple of quick visits, but they solved the issue which is completely understandable on a truck this age. He could have easily charged us a couple of grand to fix the A/C, but he was honest and straight forward and got it done for less than $500 hundred. He also got it done same day which is almost unheard of these days. It is super hard to rent a truck these days post Covid so this made a huge difference in keeping our deliveries going on time and our own customers satisfied. Thanks again Jeff!! Buyer beware! Gunn does not care that their “ certified “ pre owned vehicles are nothing to be of any added value. Botched paint job. Purchased my 2016 Chevrolet Suburban With approximately 28k miles from Gunn Auto in Selma Tx in 2017. While their Certified vehicle program sounds like a good program, it did not didn’t work well for me. (I will explain later). At 90k the transmission failed and Gunn replaced it with a new one at no charge or expense to me as it was still under the 100k drive train warranty. This included the towing to their facility. The problem I had with this 2016 Suburban is that although it was a certified vehicle it came with a barely noticeable botched paint job that appeared as dull and could be corrected with a good buffing. To make a long story short after the 36k warranty expired the paint on the right side of the vehicle progressed to a yellow color. Gunn refused to make good. How does a 3 year new vehicle paint deteriorate to flaking and turning a different color? Paint Proffessionals tell me that the paint repair previously done prior to the sale was not completed. Gunn refused to make it good so buyer beware, inspect any vehicle closely before it leaves the lot of Gunn Auto in Selma Tx

Thank went in to buy a battery and oil change. My tires were rotated as well. When I was about to leave, the man told me my tire sensor like was broken and I needed another one close to $200. I had already spent over $200 on my services. My low tire level light was not on when I got there so apparently something was done that triggered it. I am going back to talk to the manager but I am not satisfied with the service at all.

He continued to communicate with me every step of the way. Lastly, provided me with a loaner car allowing me to continue to get to and from work. Highly recommended! EDIT: After seeing this review, not only did Gunn Chevrolet contact me, but Mr. Ed Baty, the general manager at Gunn, called me himself. He offered a very sincere and genuine apology about what happened not only with my car but also my treatment after the fact. He was professional and polite, which meant more than anything he or anyone else at Gunn could've done. Mr. Baty and the service team at Gunn completed the repairs to my satisfaction. I sincerely appreciate his professionalism and willingness to right the situation. I left the service experience significantly more at peace than in the initial appointment. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After running a diagnostic on my car, the service department released the car back to me with a belt loose in the engine. Ultimately the manager I spoke to was rude and dismissive. I received no apology for the risk they not only put me in but also the potential damage that could've been done to my car. He also made it seem that it was my fault since I chose to not have my car fixed by Gunn.

Took a week to get my 2013 volt into service to check battery capacity even left notes about the issue. 8 hrs later was supposed to get a call after 4hrs missing work and without a car all day finally got a call back. I was told that my car was " pretty good for a gen one" according to another technician. No numbers battery percentage nothing I waited all day for it's pretty good. Huge waste of time the service manger avoided my call and never received a call back worst shop I've ever been to!

Gunn is the best. Last week I wanted to buy a vehicle Went to two different dealers. Both places wanted to haggle. I got upset and walked out of the dealership. What a great experience!! After several of my family members referral I just purchased my dream vehicle 2020 keep Rubicon with the help of Vincent Gray and Wayne Jenkins!! Not bad service. However not 5 stars for the following reasons: -no nitrogen so they couldn’t top off my tire pressure. This being a Chevy dealership I find that below standards. -They lost my coupon for the oil change, initially at the cashier they were going to over charge me. -petty but, whoever parked my truck was pretty short, please adjust the seat back to where it was! I could barely breathe sitting down in there before moving the seat back.

The folks at Gunn service department were very friendly and helpful. We were somewhat stranded with the car issues and were able to continue with our travel receiving a loaner car. The repair of our car was expedited so we were able to pick it up on our way back through traveling home. This was not one of my better visits. They usually vacuum out the car and that wasn't done and then I was waiting for someone to let me know when my car was ready and no one came to tell me that they were done servicing my car. I've had better experiences.

I have been having the same issue for the last year plus. I take it, they "work on it" and then say they fixed it. The secretary at service was rude and the mangers were not accommodating at all. The manager did not call me to give me updates or to explain what was going on. Gunn should also have loaner cars available.

As you may be aware, there is an international semiconductor chip shortage that has devastated the auto industry, drastically reducing our inventory and courtesy vehicle availability. I know this does not solve your issue of needing a loaner car, but do know we are doing all we can to ensure our customers are taken care of as best as possible. Decided to give Gunn Chevrolet a try for my service after giving another dealership several chances with lack luster results. First off, Michael, the service advisor was AWESOME! Very friendly and very eager to help. Oil change took a little longer than expected but the reason for a 4 star review is not resetting my oil change light nor putting a reminder sticker on the windshield. Annoying, but I will be giving Gunn my business because of the friendliness of Micheal and his willingness to quickly fix the problem.

We had a great experience at Gunn Chevrolet purchasing a vehicle. Originally, I took my 2005 Cobalt in to get some maintenance done, but found the transmission was having some issues. The service department was helpful and courteous in assisting me work through the process but my repair costs led me to making the decision to purchase a vehicle. Our sales rep Aaron 'Coach' Harley was patient and knowledgeable regarding our concerns with our purchase. Overall, we were pleased with our experience at Gunn Chevrolet.

It was pretty great just pulled up gave them my information upon request. They where doing a recall check, oil change, and replacing my floor mats. The gentleman that was writing the service ticket was very friendly he told me the time frame on when my car would be done and it was done a lil earlier. Great customer service no issues.

It was great I showed up at 0700 was in and out but was very Disappointed in the sales of service. Every time I go there is another recommended service I need. When I bought my “Certified” truck I was happy with it and they even did an alignment with purchase. Fast forward 14 months service technician tells me they recommend alignment at 15K miles. So I took his word for it and got it done. Come to find out on the same day I had tires rotated and balanced and the tires were excellent. They are wearing evenly and I really didn’t need another alignment. Now How can I trust that I am getting done what needs to get done and not just an up sale for the service rep. If I really need it please tell me and before you recommend something please review my historical information before recommending something again.

I'm very pleased with my car buying experience with Gunn Chevrolet. The Sales staff and Finance guys were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They even offered to delivery the car to my home! The car was freshly detailed and looked perfect. I'm very happy with the entire process.

I was very offended by how I was treated when I picked up my car. It was very busy as customers and other employees were all around coming in and out. I paid with a check because it was over $3000 fr services and I don't carry that type of cash. She went to get receipts and told me and everyone else they had to verify the check, they had to verifyfunds, they had to verify informationon check. She continued in front of everyone back and forth, my driver's license then calling Bank. In my opinion if check was invalid I would be in trouble for writing a hot check. Was it because I am Hispanic, whether it's procedure it could be done discreetly. She also tried telling me I only had one year warranty, I told they originally told me 2 years. Then your employee doing tour on loaner was very rude. I was very disappointed of the service. It cost me a lot of money, I drove 2 and 1/2 hours and to deal with that, felt very belittle.

Not the place to go for an oil change. I called and was told I needed to make an appointment. I took a day off of work and made a 7 am appointment. I was told that was the earliest. It is a lie. Appointments are not necessary it is first come first serve. I was the third person in the queue. It took three hours. Not acceptable. The young lady apologized for the mis information. Did not offer to rectify in any way. You are better off going to Jiffy Lube.

My (9-month old) vehicle stopped in an intersection and had to be towed to the nearest dealership which was Gunn Chevrolet. I was fine with that since they normally service my 2019 Traverse. I will admit they were very efficient once they got my vehicle in for diagnostics. The appointment was at 8am and I got a call just before 1pm with diagnosis. I was back in my vehicle by 4pm (when I got off work). My only disappointment was the days I waited with no vehicle. It was towed in on Saturday evening (1/18) and sat there a whole week before anyone could tell me what was wrong. Of course my warranty does not cover a rental UNTIL the vehicle has been diagnosed and GUNN had no loaners available. And informed me that there were 10 people ahead of me on their waiting list. Though everyone was polite, I feel more should have been done to ensure the terms of my warranty were met rather than having to pay (out-of-pocket) $400 for a vehicle rental that I thought I was paying thousands of dollars (with adequate warranty) to prevent this. January 24 2021, I purchased my 2017 Ford F-150 King Ranch from Gunn Chevrolet. The transaction was handled by Benny and his supervisor (I do not recall the supervisor’s name). I have two major issues with this sale, one was resolved and one is still outstanding. Gunn Chevrolet has poor communication and unprofessional handling in both situations. Bottom line, I need Gunn to provide me with my official plates today. I purchased the truck over 90 days ago, and the transaction is still pending Gunn to complete the title transfer and vehicle registration. When the first set of paper plates expired, I called and spoke with Yessina. Yessina told me that police officers are aware of delays at the DMV and will not pull people over for expired plates until April 15. Yessina assured me I would have my official plates by that time. I called on April 15 for a status on my plates, and Yessina told me she filed the paperwork, but the state is still backed up. She issued me a second paper plate which expired yesterday (4-29-2021) print from home. The morning of Tuesday April 27 (around 11:15), I spoke with Yessina over the phone and asked about the status of my plates. She admitted Gunn never obtained the truck’s title from the previous owner, so she has to file for a duplicate title. During our conversation, she said this process usually takes three weeks and that she already filed for a duplicate title. Yessina told me that she was hoping Gunn would receive the new title by the end of the week. Today around 11:00 am, I sent Yessina an email for an update and expressed that I need my plates now and the delays are unacceptable at this point. She did not respond, so I called Gunn Chevrolet and was transferred to a voice mailbox, which I left a call back voice message for the store manager. Since I did not receive a return call, I called Gunn Chevrolet back and insisted to speak to a manager to resolve my issue. I spoke with someone (didn’t catch his name, may have been Christian?) he gave several excuses right off the bat. He said Gunn Chevrolet does not obtain titles from sellers, and Gunn’s process is to have the title transferred from previous owner to new owner. He told me he will take the next few hours to walk to the finance department and speak w Yessina about the situation. He promised to call me back with an update and provide me an extension for the paper plate. Now, as I file this complaint, It has been over an hour and a half, and I haven’t received a follow up call. I feel like Gunn Chevroletis either lying or manipulating me about this situation. I spoke with a family member who purchased a Tahoe from Gunn Chevrolet in February/March. She received her official plates within the expiration of her paper plate and had no issues with Gunn Chevrolet during the sale. I called the DMV and spoke with a helpful representative. He confirmed that me Gunn received a certified copy of the truck title today. He explains this happens when the buyer does not obtain the title from the owner during the sale transaction. Based on his experience and knowledge, he can assume Gunn Chevrolet must have had issues obtaining the original truck title. This brings me back to my other issue, which has been resolved, but not with ease. The night of the sale, the salesman Benny handed me one set of keys and told me to call him on Monday for the spare set because it was locked up in the sister dealership (which was closed). I called and texted Benny for the keys and got either the run around or ignored. I finally escalated to a supervisor, who proceeded to blame me for not writing an addendum stating I was missing a set of keys on the sale contract. Gunn Chevrolet initially did not want to take ownership of the situation and replace the missing set, but they finally caved in when my father-in-law began escalating the issue as well. I will not do business with Gunn Chevrolet due to their poor handling of this transaction and I will refer my friends and family to stay away. -Jorge Gonzalez Jr.

I have used GUNN for the past three vehicle purchases. While my experience started on rocky grounds I have to say that Tommy Thompson and Vincent Gray have redeemed my confidence with GUNN. Brought in one of our School District's Suburbans for a recall and asked them to check a possible issue with the brakes. 2 weeks later we found the right rear pad was gone and grinding into the rotor. The right rear caliper was also going bad. They did not bother to pull the tires to inspect pads, rotors , and calipers when a customer brings in a vehicle for a possible brake issue? Especially when students are transported in these vehicles? I will no longer use Gunn for any of our District vehicle service needs.

I came to the dealership to take a look at the new blazers. I was greeted by Vincent and he seemed very helpfulness kind. He did not pressure me into buying anything. We had what we wanted in mind and Vincent was extremely helpful and patient. He worked hard to meet our expectations and ran all over the place showing us everything without any pressure to buy. Gunn dealership itself has a great selection and everyone working there was very welcoming. Excellent waiting area near the service center and everything was clean. I researched the price on my truck and this was a great deal. No haggle prices only works when the asking price is already a good deal. This is the second vehicle we’ve purchased from Gunn and both experiences were positive. I give 4 instead of 5 stars only because it took an hour to get the truck after the purchase was complete waiting for it to be cleaned (it was already clean for the most part)

Car had been serviced less than 2 months ago and problem I brought it in for was related to that service. It cost me more for additional labor than the part needed. However if the issue had been identified 2 months prior, I could've avoided the inconvenience and potential hazards of having my car stop on me in traffic.

Awesome staff all-around. Cindy (Cynthia) was extremely helpful, friendly and willing to help and discuss options with us regarding our vehicle. From receptionist/operators to service advisors, including John the shuttle driver who makes you feel like family and loves to talk and interact with you which makes the ride comfortable...everyone was warm and welcoming and you could tell they take the time with each individual and don't treat you like a number. Ordered a back spoiler for my 2019 Stingray Corvette and the wrong one came in. Reordered correct spoiler and was installed in less than week. Once scheduled, it was installed correctly. The parts and service department employees were great with communication during installation. I would recommend they sending a video to me during installation by the technician. Get an inside look.

Service department took care of my vehicle needs. They did cause a inconvenience on my day. 2 weeks prior to my appointment, I secured my appointment and a loaner vehicle. Got there for my appointment and was told that there weren’t any vehicles available. This was very disappointing as I scheduled this appointment around my work schedule. This is honest feedback to hopefully prevent the issue from happening again!

I have always had my Chevrolet Silverado serviced by Gunn Chevrolet. The mechanics do quality work and the price is fair. I was offered a 10% discount if I booked the service appointment online. I did that but when I paid my invoice there was no discount applied to the total. I didn't notice the error until I got home, since I was in rush and picked my truck up right at closing time. In my opinion, it looks like the internet department doesn't communicate very well with the service department. picked my truck

Paul diagnosed the problem with my transmission as soon as I told him what it was doing, and said it was covered under warranty. He said it should be ready by 2:00 PM, and I got the text at 1:58 PM. I recently took my car to Gunn Chevrolet to have a noise checked out. They checked it out from bumper to bumper. My service rep was Charles and he took care of all issues found and even checked to find that some were still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Explained everything and was very courteous. I would like to highly recommend this Chevy dealership in Selma Texas. I came in the other day for an oil change & the price was right (only $29 with my coupon for synthetic oil). Ji Oh helped me & she did a fantastic job. She has excellent customer service & gave me her business card & said to call her the next time I need an oil change & she will get me right in & out.
