I recently bought my first home and used Guild as my mortgage company. Richard, and his team made the process so easy. They were helpful every step of the way. Morgan and Pat were very knowledgeable and helped with any questions. Richard was available any time I called. I highly recommend Richard and the Guild Mortgage team.

I recently refinanced with Guild. I locked in at a better rate and lower note. Best of all, it was easy and took little time to complete. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone buying or refinancing their home!

My husband and I are first time home buyers. Starting off with Guild was great, they were friendly on the phone. We obviously were new and had a lot of questions and documents to get together. Once we sent them all of the documents, they completely stopped communicating with us. With a house on the market that we were interested in, it was important to us to get the process moving so we could put in an offer, but they made it impossible by ignoring emails. Needless to say, we went to another company and got pre-approved and put in an offer within 6 days. I would not recommend Guild.

I cannot thank Guild Mortgage enough for helping us with the closing of our home. Richard and Pat were amazing!!!! We took them on a crazy roller coaster ride with having to move up the closing date, purchasing a home from HUD, and a few other twist and turns we threw at them along the way. They took each conflict and faced it head on and did what needed to be done to close on time. They coached me as to what the next steps were, consoled me when life got in the way and I though the transaction wasn't going to happen, and made me feel like part of the family instead of just another customer. Words cannot describe how blessed we were to have them on our team! I would HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE purchasing a home!!!

The process in the beginning was not good at all. My loan officer lacked communication skills. My closing date was pushed back due to this but my down payment was less than the original amount quoted. I've fairly new to Guild and so far so good. The only thing I don't like about them is that they do not allow you to pay bi-weekly. I'm assuming this is to avoid paying your loan off early. Because of this I will be looking to refinance through someone who does allow bi-weekly payments.
