I am under 35 and have paid off all student loans and a quarter million dollar mortgage on a state government salary, but re-financing with Guild was the biggest financial mistake I have made. Getting the loan was quick, easy and entirely painless and I cannot say a single poor thing about that, nor the local Columbia office. However once you sign the papers the customer service is completely gone. I have spent the last 6 months arguing and calling, weekly, to get my payment checks placed in my account correctly. The customer service representatives all know me, and now does some of the management as this was escalated. I encourage anyone with them to track every payment and how it should affect the remaining balance and amount paid so far. If I had not tracked this myself, I would be paying a lot extra for no reason.

We just purchased our first home, and used Guild for our lender. This was the least stressful part of the whole process! Mark and Erin were so helpful, they kept us in the loop as things were happening. They were professional and so nice. Mark even sent several hand written notes, who does that anymore?! We felt taken care of and it all went smoothly, we will recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you!

The Guild Team was Heaven sent! After working with 4 different banks Lamont and his team made the process and approval the easiest. I thank God for my Realtor sending him my way. As a business owner , I will be referring clients to him to get the results expected. He doesn't say Yes and then turn you down in the end. I have been a victim to that so many times. The lender will get your hopes up and tell you yes you are approved and then at the last minute want something else ridiculous that has nothing to do with the codes and laws.Lamont Watson and the Guild Team are Phenomenal!

My loan officer was Lauren. I was extremely nervous from beginning to end but they made everything quick painless and easy. Guild do everything to make sure they can get you in a home! I would definitely tell my friends and family.

Multiple problems with other peoples payments being applied to my mortgage. The customer service department was not willing to waive late charges for their accounting errors. I would not recommend and plan on refinancing with another company.

1. Get up from your chair. 2. Run. 3. Run some more. 4. Look back, make sure Guild is not anywhere near you. 5. Run another 5k miles. 6. Stop. 7. Start a new life.
