Okay, where do i even start? Jennifer and her team are absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I are- i mean WERE first time home buyers, my husband is currently deployed, and we wanted to use the VA loan. We had reached out to some of the big dogs in the VA world and we were told "No" time and time again. Amazing team. While other lenders underwriters denied my loan, I ended up applying with Jennifer’s company because her YouTube channel popped up on my feed. I thought her videos were too good to be true, and expected for her to deny my loan. Within the next day, I received a 3 way-call from Jennifer herself, Julie her VP and were very upfront about what they needed from me in order to pass underwriting and close the loan. I can not say enough good things about Guaranteed Rate (GR) Mortgage! This was my first time buying a house. I was initially going through another lender (big name lender)...well, I was going through the process , naively accepting lender fees ($3500) and rate-creep in the wrong direction as any newbie to the buying process might; all while being told that these things are typical and can’t be lowered (hmmm, until challenged by another lender (GR) that is). I actually found Jenn Beeston on YouTube while researching appraisals and texted her, not entirely expecting a response. She texted me immediately and we talked the next morning. 15 minutes on the phone with her, and I was switching lenders. She really did school me that fast. Now, Jenn B. and the team (Jenn and Chad Anderson, CJ Gutsmiedl, Krissy Olivas, Ashley Reid, Tim Wood), had quite the task ahead of them, as I went really far into the process with the previous lender...like “2 weeks to close” far. One of the best and easiest experience I've had as a first time home buyer. Jennifer and her team kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and explained to me anything I didn't understand fully. I set up a call to speak about loan options and details for FHA loans. Alyssa was the person that called me for my appointment. She was not knowledgeable about FHA at all but the biggest problem was her cold, rude demeanor. Seemed like she was having a bad day, I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, however her attitude was so bad that I felt I couldn't end the conversation soon enough.
