    I called the toll-free number to place an order for personal checks today, Tuesday, 1/25/22 at about 2:30 pm. EST. I was promptly connected once I made my option selection. I had a very pleasant, courteous, and professional experience with the person on the other end. She was confident and did her job very well in completing my order in a timely manner. She was very calm, which I could tell from the tone of her voice. She was very patient and I did not feel that I was being rushed. I felt well attended to and received excellent customer service today. You are an asset to your company and I appreciate your help today.

    Katherine T was very helpful. Katherine too accountability for call, she was very transparent on her actions, she was knowledgeable in her conversation and looking for the best option to satisfy my call. She went over and beyond to help resolve my situation and this is the type i customer service I would always like to receive. She needs a raise!!!!

    I made a mistake on my Bill Pay! I have 2 of the same accounts on my BP. one was closed & one was active. My mistake was sending a payment to the closed one!! GTE sent a paper check to them as it wouldn't go through electronically. I saw that the check was cashed. How!! it's a closed account. Well Jeremy Ross at GTE was my saving grace. Explaining the situation was tough & confusing. He stuck it out with me. He even sent me a copy of the cancelled check so I had the evidence if something shady was going on. I called my closed credit card account & the mystery was solved. They were able to link to my active account & they applied the check to that account. I just want to thank Jeremy Ross for his patience, listening skills & going the extra mile for me. Great customer service Jeremy & I hope there are more of you out there!! Thank you, THANK YOU.

    On 1/25/2022, I received excellent customer service from Josie Gutierrez. Josie's knowledge about financial products and her instructions on how to navigate the platform to complete the required form to dispute unauthorized charges is commendable. She also assisted me with resolving/reissuing new products that had to be replaced due to fraudulent activities on my account.

    I spoke with a supervisor Melissa about changing my payment date. She was really helpful, professional and courteous. Having a new loan with GTE i was confused about my account and she did an excellent job of helping me. Above and beyond. I'd get another loan from GTE simply based on my experience with melissa!

    I have never been with a financial institution like this. I signed up in December for my promo of $200. First they don't confirm my account with my employer. Then I was informed that I would get my promo money deposited in February. It is the middle of March and still nothing. I contacted them via message about a charge that I don't recognize because it reads webonline. Their response, contact the merchant. How can I contact the merchant, if I don't know who it is. I am so done with incompetent people

    Good morning, When I reported fraudulent activity, Jeremy was Very helpful.. unfortunately my issue wasn't resolved with one call, but his pleasant and helpful demeanor helped 2 calm me down.. having 2 go through this process is a little easier when someones voice emits a caring attitude

    The 2 stars is representative of the absolutely horrible IVR system GTE now uses. I personally had to enter my member ID # three times, and got routed to the wrong area once. But the biggest complaint is there is no easy way out of the ridiculously long IVR string to get to a live person. I understand that many people prefer not to have to speak to a person, but for those of us who prefer human contact, this system is atrocious. When I finally did get to speak to a representative, they were very helpful and quick to fix my issue. I would highly recommend taking your members that want live interaction into account, and not just tossing us to the side. You are a credit union, a financial institute that is supposed to be member focused. If I wanted sterile, computer driven algorithms, I'd go to a national bank.

    GTE financial has become the most user unfriendly financial institution around. After 36 years, I'm considering canceling out all my direct deposits and moving my account. But today a young man named Joel assistant me and did an excellent job. First positive thing I can say about GTE in The last 5 years

    I do not like the new automated system it takes too long to get help and I did talk to Lynn today and she was very helpful you need to give her a raise and let her keep her job and quit doing this automation stuff it's worthless people need jobs nowadays and Lynn was very very helpful could I ask for a better helpful person

    Some of the necessary account actions could be better understood by customers, especially relating to inactivity fees. None-the-less, I am amazed at the high quality of customer care. It took some effort to reach an agent via phone tree and hold music. Glad I waited- Josie completely turned my experience around. Each of my concerns was addressed with expertise and empathy. By the end, all issues were perfectly resolved. Confidence and satisfaction restored. I cannot express how thankful I am to have reached such an amazing team member!

    Member Care Rep Melissa was outstanding. She quickly handled my IRA Withdrawal issue and again confirmed specifics when I requested. She was pleasant, openly friendly and very competent. Great virtues in a GTE staff member. Also kudos to IRA Dept for quickly handling my withdrawal as I requested.

    Another day, another problem.with my Zelle pending payment. Vera took the time to see what the problem is again. She put me on hold and kept checking on me letting me know that she was working on the problem. She made me aware that she contacted the Zelle support team and was waiting on an answer. Very professional and courteous. She took as much time needed to get a resolution. I am very thankful to her for that. I have been with GTE for 12 years and no complaints here.

    I had an issue with Zelle and tried using Chat yesterday however the notation "30 minute wait" appeared. Didn't wait. Called Headquarters today and after 5 minutes or so I got Melissa (I hope that's her name)! She sought help, diagnosed the problem, and didn't lose my call, and resolved it fairly quickly. She was understanding, patient and polite. Kudos and appreciation!

    Gtefcu representative was excellent. She took care if my request and was so patient with me. On my online banking showed me how to do certain transactions I didn't know I could do with my online banking. Deserve 10 stars.

    Absolutely horrible experience. We have been waiting to be funded for a loan for over a week. The representative we spoke to at GTE guaranteed that they would over night a check for a boat that we sold to their customer. Then the supervisor we spoke to the next day said they NEVER overnight checks to dealers. Here we are 8+ days later since the boat left our facility and they still haven't sent us the funds. They shared a Fedex tracking number with us for an overnight label that was created two days ago but never shipped. We provided them with everything they asked us for last week including pre-registering the boat and recording their lien. The DMV closed out the title, we have paid all of the fees and they are still refusing to fund us. Very poor business ethics.

    I received a text that there were fraud transactions with my card. Since bank website warns us to be careful with any call regarding about fraud transactions, I waited few days to go to the branch (instead of working with master card associates). The Clearwater/palm harbor Branch associates was very helpful and going thru to al my transactions and checking if all transactions was made by me or fraud . They blocked my card, get me a new one (on the spot) and provide me with the timeline. When I finally received my money back, I called customer service to see if the NSF fee that occurred due to those fraudulent transactions could be refunded as well. They really work thru it, analyzed it and credit the money back to me. I appreciate you all helping me especially with the current situation, I feel safe that I received notification right away when the unfortunate incident happened and your team assisted me to solve the issues. Thanks GTE Financial, your teams are rock ! ( I am sorry I forget all the associates name who helped me )

    I have been dealing with a simple problem for the past three weeks because nobody wanted to take a minute to listen but today someone did and it took less than five minutes to get resolved.
