I’ve been a member for a few years and I’ve always been pleased with the customer service. Today I had the pleasure of working with Colin M. His customer service was hands down phenomenal!!! He was helpful with educating me about credit card options credit scores and first time home buyers programs. Thanks again Colin you are truly appreciated. I’m proud to be affiliated with GTE.

My account had been hacked. I was extremely upset when I found out at my church on Sunday..embarrassing to say the least to find your money is gone… Then to have to wait because of a holiday… deadlines… pending travel.. money gone!!I was ready for a fight!!! Yet enters Taja Dorsey… her professional yet friendly and empathetic approach to my problem left me reassured .. I was ready to cancel all of my accounts and move my moneys to my Out of state account.. Her approach made me feel valued and wanted..My needs were met on every level and though I still had to wait an additional 8 to 10 days to get my 5000 back… Her approach and care of me was well worth the wait.. Great save Taja… You are exemplary..

I have been banking with GTE for over 20 years. I love the professionalism of the reps. They make sure my questions are answered and the matters are handled respectfully.

Excellent customer service, l was in and out of the bank in a timely manner, and my concerns were professionally addressed.

Came into the temple terrace location today and Taja Dorsey was the first smiling face that greeted me and she did a fantastic job with helping me recover my account and she made sure everything worked before I left the building. Thank you for making my day great Taja you are a super star

Mr. Carlos was an excellent loan officer/banker. He went over the top to explain in detail about my account. He took his time to help me get my accounts corrected, even though I came into the branch late. Not once did Carlos make me feel that I was being RUSHED which is very appreciated!!! He took his time make sure that I understood ever detail and also had a great conversation about SOCKS lol. I would recommend Carlos to help anyone with question/ concerns about their account(s). Great customer service!!!!!

Zero customer service. Representatives can only do certain task and they send you to someone else if you have a separate issue. Its taken over two weeks to add a DBA to an account.

How do I love GTE Financial...let me count the ways! Ms.Kendricia,, the Financial manager of the temple Terrace branch was thoroughly patient with me and helped me with all my small business needs. Her advice was priceless. Her personality shined and I left feeling I had accomplished a lot!

Wasted my time. I told then I wanted a loan for a 1999 car, applied for the loan and got approved just for them to say they don’t do loans for vehicles over 8 years old. Could’ve told me that from the very beginning and not waste my time.

My experience was everything, Jose Caicedo was very polite, well spoken, helpful and knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation.

Taja was absolutely amazing to work with! She helped me with so many things from business accounts to personal. She made my time spent at the location pleasant and was so kind. Not to mention, super knowledgeable and able to answer all of my question and give me all the options I had. Thank you for making my visit FABULOUS! I will be using Taja as my personal banker from this point forward!

Kenricia was very responsive and willing to assist. Pleasent, friendly and professional. There can be a wait time for service at that location though they will be able to help with your banking needs.

That has been my bank for years, back since the mid-90s, the 1st thru the 3rd can be a little bit busy because of it being first of the month of course, but other than that I very seldom have a wait of more than 5 minutes, employees greet you at the door and are very polite and helpful

I had the pleasure of meeting Taja Dorsey she was friendly and very Knowledgeable in helping me with my problem I wish everyone working in customer service had her attitude I just wanted everyone to know you ROCK thanks for everything.

If it were possible to give a business a negative number of stars, I would do so. Kenricia Mercer the branch manager is absolutely useless. After a fraudulent charge on my credit card on which Kenricia lied to me and told me not to pay, they are now refusing to reverse the interest charge. Apparently at GTE Financial, when a customer was the victim of fraud, they are penalized for it. One day when I was in the branch trying to resolve this, two other customers came in complaining about credit card fraud. This did not seem to bother Kenricia. The district manager at the corporate office is a man named Terrence. Trying to get through to Terrance is impossible. In fact when you call the corporate number you are lucky if you can speak to a real person, and when you do it's usually a phone answered like "Matthew" who does not under any circumstances want to let you speak to a supervisor. When you do get through to a supervisor, you get "Josh" who still won't let you speak to Terrence and just gives you a runaround and tells you you it's your fault and you have to pay the interest charge. The only reason I even get near a credit union is the for better rate on auto loans. In all other aspects, they are a joke of an excuse for a bank. The experience I have had with Kenricia, Matthew and Josh confirms this. So, for $1.59 I refinanced my vehicle at another institution and closed all my other accounts. You lost a customer because you are too short sighted to see the bigger picture. My advise is to avoid GTE Financial. Your value to them is $1.59.

I received outstanding service from Kenricia today regarding some significant financial issues. Her knowledge and sincere care for my service needs were tremendous. She is patient and very professional. I am soooo appreciative all of her assistance today and will recommend her any and all of my family and friends who may have the need for financial services.
