Our salesman Clayton White was the easiest to work with and very communicative. My wife and I came in from Austin to Waco, and we do not regret the decision. The entire dealership staff was very sweet to our child, quarters for snacks and drinks, and included her in the process to make her feel included. Clayon was very accommodating, and he was very late and stayed over. Best dealership experience by far. Very satisfied. Will return.

I found the new car I wanted on cars.com. I called and spoke to Clayton in sales and he was very helpful. I also spoke to Ramsey regarding the price. Both were very friendly, responsive, and eager to work with me on getting the price/payments where I needed them. Thomas in finance was beyond patient and helpful in explaining the warranty options and pricing. I drove down from Fort Worth and this was seriously THE BEST car buying experience I have ever had. Always have a great experience every time I get my car serviced. The techs always explain everything in detail before it’s done, are really nice and professional. Even talked to the tech that did my service. He answered all my questions and gave me his card in case I have any troubles. I took my car in for an oil consumption test. It had to go through 3 oil checks to see if they needed to go further with what is going on with my car. For those oil checks I took my car back every 1000 miles for the service department to check my oil levels. Each time I was there Dylan, my service writer, always went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. As a matter of fact, Dylan managed to get me out from under a quite hefty fee that was being charged by Hyundai. Greg May needs to be proud to have an employee like Dylan

My car shopping experience has been a nightmare until I met Jacob and Clayton… these guys made my vehicle purchase absolutely seamless. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION! Absolute WORST management here. The General Manager, Chavez is the laziest and most unprofessional being I have ever met and the service manager, Bill Knight does he even really exist? Funny how car dealerships will take all your money and then not even honor the simplest of warranties. Trust me folks if you buy from here you'll end up making a formal complaint to corporate due to lack of follow through by management. Save your time, money and energy.
Sorry you felt you needed to give us a low review. As you can tell from our EXCELLENT rating here on Google, the majority of others rate us highly. After looking into your case, I see you did have issues that were determined by the manufacturer ( Hyundai ) to be lack of maintenance of your vehicle. Additionally you had no records to prove you had ever serviced your vehicle more than 1 time in 3 years. Hyundai did have an engineer examine your vehicles problems. In the future we recommend changing your oil and servicing your vehicle regularly to prevent these problems.

From Clayton, Ramsey, Thomas and the helpful porter, it was the best service that can be expected. Great service team! Took our Hyundai in for its first service, and two recalls. All was done within 5 hours. They even stayed 15 minutes extra after closing time waiting on us.

horrible company. i left 1 review the other day they already deleted it don't bother goin; they will just lie to you and try to steal your money. i have also been waiting on a manager to call me back for over a week. this was so absurd I'm refinancing my car w/ someone else even cause i refuse to give yall any extra $ if i don't have to. just go elsewhere for service !!! all you will get here is a headache, dishonesty and EXTRA MILES ON YOUR CAR AND CIGARETTE ASHES IN YOUR BACK SEAT. trust me. esp if you're a woman that wears scrubs; they see that and try to take FULL ADVANTAGE. and i've taken a photo of this one to add to my next if its deleted again :)

I have always what makes a great dealership is the sales of a vehicle but it is how your service department treats patrons. Well Tommy Clark and his service team as well as Michael Burke and his parts crew are proving Greg May's service is a step above. My family and I had a flat and called AAA to change it. This is when we found out our new Palisade had locks on the tires and dealership we purchased from failed to give me a key. I called GM and spoke to Mr. Clark for assistance. He said they close at 6 and if I could get the car there before 6 they would try to help me. My family and I pulled up a 5:58. They stayed after hours and made sure my family was helped. What they didn't know was I was recovering from a transplant so I couldn't physically change the the tire. Without their help we couldn't have made it back to North Texas. That's the difference between customer service and "Quality" customer care! Thanks Mr. Clark and the Greg May Team!!

I had my oil changed on August 18, 2021--5 star experience. Best experience I've had at Greg May Hyundai and I've been going there for years. Fast turnaround, they checked up on me to let me know where my car was at in the process & queue, etc. I like the changes y'all have implemented. The Staff were friendlier than ever before! I had a similar issue as others. Took car in for a repair. They "diagnosed" the issue and it took 4 weeks for the parts to come in. Another week and a half for the repair. After completing the repair they called to say they misdiagnosed the issue but were still going to charge me for everything including work i refused. It was 1400 total and a 5 week wait for a vehicle that isnt driveable. The icing on the cake was the sales manager calling to ask if i wanted to buy my new vehicle from them. Practical tips. Get everything from the service department in writing via email. They go through service managers like water and you'll want written record of everything they tell you. Once they tell you the cost of your repair go to the shop and get a printoff from them showing the cost of parts and labor before agreeing to the work. I did this and was able to successfully dispute 400 worth of charges since i had the original cost of repair from them. Finally consider not buying a vehicle from them. If the service department is poor your vehicle will ultimately pay the cost. Ive seen at least 5 service managers go through here in the past 3 years. It used to be a trustworthy department. Not any more. Im looking forward to moving on and buying a vehicle from another manufacturer.

Today we visited Greg May Hyundai in Waco to look at their cars. We were met by Clayton White. For at least 90 minutes he patiently answered our questions. Eventually he gave us a little tour of South Waco to demonstrate its handling on the highway. Furthermore, Clayton took time to show us the many features of the automobile. This was my first oil change at Greg May Hyundai and I was 100% pleased. I called just before 8am and they didn’t have space but did everything to get me in before my trip the next day. When I got there, Mary greeted me and took care of me. They were a little behind and she said that she had me and would get me in quick. With full bays in the garage, she got me out in 37 minutes. Mary went above and beyond for me to make sure I got home on time. But it wasn’t just her. 3 other service employees engaged with me about my car. They were asking questions about my car and about my life in my car. I travel a lot in my car for my job and it felt authentic and honest. Very pleased! This is my 5th car from Greg May between the Honda dealership and the the Hyundai dealership, and this experiences reminded me of my old Greg May Honda days about 10 years ago. It’s nice that the customer experience seems to be the Greg May brands focus again.

Came in for an oil change, had several different employees come up to me at various times to give me an update on the time remaining on service, and got my car back and noticed they did a full wash of my car! Nice helpful people and quality work. Partially my fault for not scheduling a wait for my car rather than dropping off. Was quoted 20-30 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation but warned when I arrived it might be an hour. It wound up taking an hour and 45 minutes which caused me to overstay my lunch hour. Once again not totally their fault but if i had known it would be that long I would have rescheduled it for another day.

My car has been acting up. I called the warranty people and kept going back and forth. So I called Greg May Hyundai and spoke to Director Of Fixed Operations Bill Knight and explained to him what was going on. He is the best and he calmed me down and said we will take of your car and make sure anything will be okay and he dried my tears. Then he had Paul Myrick service my car and I advise I him I need my car by 4 30 2022 because I had ton go out of town. He called me and made it happened. I was so pleased with service and my car was in there only for a week and they pulled strings to make it happened. We will keep coming back and they are the best.Thats what I called great customer service.

Had my vehicle serviced while in town for an oil change. I'm from out of state so I just chose a Hyundai in the area. I made it home and found a few rags and 14mm wrench left under my hood. I checked my oil and it still looked black and wasn't completely at the fill mark. I called and spoke with someone who claimed to be general manager named "Matt" who basically called me a liar and hung up in my face. I will be sure to stop by and have a conversation with this guy when I'm back in the area. I purchased my vehicle through this dealership and have had the WORST service experience of my life! I'm 58! My vehicle is still under warranty and my front windshield washer fluid was leaking. I've tried 4 times to have it repaired. No part ordered, wrong part, etc, etc. I've even spoken to Bill Service Manager. I called again to say it still wasn't working, oh we have an appointment available in 9 days.

This is the 2 car i bought from them. First one was a great experience 6 years ago but they have went way down. Didnt have my car 2 weeks the AC messed up. When i got the car i kept telling them the 2 front tires are bad and they kept telling me no they passed safety inspection. Well havent had my car 2 months yet and the front tires are showing the wires because they are bad like I said 4 times so if this passed safety inspection im very worried about thier so called safety inspection. My paper plates go out in 2 days still have not received my licenses plate i have called 3 times they cant find it or tell me whats going on. Most horrible experience buying a car. Will never buy from them again.

After struggling to schedule a routine service appointment in Austin due to overwhelming Hyundai demand, I am grateful to have found the outstanding pros at Greg May! Not only was I able to schedule an online appointment without any delays but, once there, they went above and beyond with delish coffee and candy in the calm and quiet waiting room! Also, they were able to replace and make like showroom the hood ornament that I had bought and “Macgyvered” from Ebay using a diabetic meter which (by itself) was a !@&$! miracle!!! From now on, I will plan to make this journey without hesitation so please plan to build a bigger facility to meet the future demand from across the state! I bought a 2016 Hyundai from them. 9 days after I bought it the check engine light came on and the struts on the rear hatch failed. The premium warranty doesn't cover nothing. And they don't stand behind their product. Might as well go to a tote the note lot.

In response to the person who replied to my review, you are a liar pure and simple. My car does not have over 200,000 miles on it. I do not need luck in the future; I found a reputable person who fixed what was wrong for 1/3 of what you were going to fix that wasn't wrong. You obviously have no idea who I am and this is the pathetic b.s. you have come up with. People, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Read the company's responses to legitimate complaints and you will learn all you need to know about them. Do not trust that they have a good rating. Ratings can be rigged so search for the other 1 star reviews. I can't give them zero stars but that is what they earned. The dealership has the worst service I have ever encountered and I am pretty old. Greg May Hyundai promises to get your car done and then do nothing. I spent 5 weeks waiting for them to fix my problem. They had the car the whole time. They finally got back to me saying it would cost over $3,000 to fix it. I got a second opinion from a reputable shop and they fixed the problem for under $1,000. Greg May Hyundai misdiagnosed the problem and would have charged me to NOT fix the problem. I have to go out of the county to get my two Hyundai Sonatas serviced for recalls. I am not alone. One person I know was lied to about the used car they bought having a spare tire. He should have checked but he shouldn't have HAD to check. A customer came in while I was there and she had spent over a month trying to get her "free" oil change for buying a new car but couldn't get it scheduled. You have to go to Hyundai for oil changes on new cars because of the special tool they require. Another person went in with their car and was told they did the recall work. He knew enough about cars to know they never touched that aspect of the car but still billed Hyundai for the work. I have loved my car but will never buy any vehicle related to Greg May (Honda, Hyundai, etc.) If you buy from them, you WILL have problems. You have been warned.
Sometimes 200k+ mile vehicles have issues and require repairs that are expensive to repair. Best of luck to you in the future.

I would travel 1,000 miles and pay more money just to NOT buy a car from these people. Save yourself grief and go anywhere else. These people are rude ans wouldn't even let me look inside a car without showing proof of being able to afford the car. Which I had cash in hand ready to buy that day. Sad for them they missed a sale which are hard to come by these days. I'm happy I went somewhere else to buy where I will be treated with respect and dignity when spending my money. Edit: Regarding the response to my review. The dealership is covering for themselves. They told me the car was for sale and I told them I was interested in purchasing which I was. Very sorry you were upset we would not let you test drive a 2021 Bronco, that was sold to another customer. Seems like we are in a no win situation here doesn't it? You told us you have no intention on buying the car but just want to drive it. Of course, we would never allow someone to drive $85,000 car that wasn't intending on buying it, nor would we allow anyone to drive a car that a customer has placed a deposit on already. Bought my 2021 Hyundai Venue from Clayton. He was able to help me find a good deal that met all the criteria I was looking for. While discussing the features, he showed me an app called SharePoint GPS that allows you to track your vehicles location at any given time. Fast forward not even a month later after my purchase and my car was stolen. Fortunately, due to the app that Greg May Hyundai includes in most if not all vehicles sold, I was able to retrieve my car in less than 4 hours from when it was reported stolen. Thank y'all for helping me find a new vehicle, setting me up with the app, as well as following up once they heard the news to make sure I was doing fine.

Just save yourself the trouble. Poor communication, dishonest sales staff, terrible service. I don't have the characters to write out the full story but they sold us a vehicle that was completely road unsafe and lied about it for months, leading to me in a dead car rolling down a hill, before finally agreeing to service the car at all. After 7, yes, SEVEN, weeks of minimal communication with 3 working adults trying to share 2 cars (because they had nothing to loan us), they could do nothing but buy the car back and offer us a different one. However, we have no interest in any of their vehicles and do not have confidence that we would be able to buy anything of quality from this dealer. This is the most disappointing customer service experience that me and my family have ever experienced. Buy a car elsewhere.

I recently bought a 2021 Ioniq from this dealership, and I love the car!! The dealership however has not lived up to its promises. I discovered a few weeks after the purchase that the there was no tire mobility kit. I spoke with Justin who said he get back with me. He did, but his attitude along with the GM was that I was lying and once was there. I tried calling back several times but no response. I will never use these guys again for service or sales. Very bad way to treat customers. I ended buying a spare from eBay at a fraction of the cost they quoted. It was a brand new car! Shows how little you even looked into it!
We are glad you are enjoying your new vehicle. Hyundai builds a very nice car! Your response is not accurate, the USED VEHICLE you purchased was not equipped with a spare tire when it was built from the factory. Whereas it was NEVER BUILT WITH a spare tire it is not missing. Justin and the managers have spoken to you numerous times. The vehicle you purchased was USED and you signed contracts stating you understand it is used and is as is. Of course you can find second hand things on eBay cheaper than new.

My overall experience was OK but, after the sale has not been satisfactory. My sales person, Justin Owens, has not kept his word and has not replied to three emails I have sent him. I guess he could care less about repeat business. Making the initial sale appears to be his only concern. Even after bringing in a friend, who bought a car, I can't get a reply to my emails. This is NOT at all professional, much less courteous of the man. I'm not sure if I would recommend Greg May to any of my other friends or not??? Ted Chastain
We are sorry we could not get you a replacement window sticker for a other than used car you bought. We did check with a franchised store that sells the brand you bought used from us and they weren't able to get one either. If the franchised dealer that sells them new can't get one... what more could we do sir? We have conveyed that to you numerous times, sorry the answer is not satisfactory.

The 1st time going to this location, it was amazing. Staff was very friendly and my oil change was completed within an hour. This last time was not so great unfortunately. There system allowed my to make an appt. on a day they were closed. They called me and we were able to get it rescheduled very easily and quickly. When I arrived to drop off my car (opening time), there were about 10 other cars and took me about 30 minutes just to check in. About 6 hours later, we called to check on the car. Nobody could give us answers about the status of the car. After 7 hours of waiting, I go to the dealership to find out why an oil change is taking 7 hours. The employee was overwhelmed with in person customers and phone calls. The manager came in about 25 minutes of me waiting to help. Both employees were very kind and apologetic. I understand things happen, especially in these times were so many people are unwilling to work. Hopefully they get more help and my next experience goes back to like my 1st experience at the location.

I came to the right place to come make my first car purchase. My salesman, Josh was exceptional! He was a tremendous help in helping me find the car I wanted. I had been searching for a Hyundai sonata some time now and he, without hesitation, was so willing to help me. He greeted me and my family with a smile even on an hot day. He helped me get a great deal for the car. Josh was kind enough to also show me a tutorial on how my new car works and gave me a rundown on how hybrids work. From Josh to the other salesman, Matthew, to the people working in the back, they provided phenomenal customer service, were attentive, and patient. It can be intimidating to buy a new car for the first, but at Greg May Hyundai, Josh and the rest of the staff made it be one of the easiest decisions I have had to make. Thank you so much. Service was great, but…the extra fees are sneaky and the service manager couldn’t explain them, which lead to my greater suspicion. “Storage fee’s”, “shop supplies”, too many “fees”.

I was kind of skeptical at first because I didn't know how things would work out but both salesmen I spoke with (Darwin Rice & Justin Owens) made me feel at ease. They were so helpful and straightforward with me from the beginning to the end. I was very pleased and satisfied when I left and they put me in a new car.
