    This credit union has been great. My 91 year old mother has had an account there since the day it opened. I have now had to take over her banking due to issues associated with her age. But believe me, they have been wonderful to deal with when we have needed some human input, and when I've used online access.

    Different customer services promised me several times over the phone that they are going to send me the payoff letter. They have never delivered it. Stay away from this credit union or you will never get rid of the lien on your title.

    GREAT C.U. easy loan setup, BUT--it's impossible to get a payoff on your active carloan, to pay off--you apparent must contact by phone...not very efficient.

    I just want to thank Edgar Solano in the loan department for all of his help with my new auto loan! He was a great loan officer and made things quick and easy. He stayed late to finalize my loan closing on a Friday and I was able to drive my car home the same day!

    My bank card was compromised. I was quickly alerted. The card was closed and within 2 hours, I received a call from the main branch on Lamar that my new card was ready for me to pick up in the drive thru. Amazing service! Love my Aggieland Federal Credit Union!

    I had been given a Visa gift card from Greater Texas Credit Union for my birthday. I called them up using the phone number on the back of my card to inquire about my balance. The first time I called, the person who answered the phone refused to give me my balance to my gift card because I did not know how much was originally on there. I explained to him that was the very reason why I was calling. He then very rudely told me it was against policy and put me hold and hung up. I called a second time, this time another person answered, I explained again, and she told me card was closed now, and hung up on me. NEVER have I had such a negative experience with phone support for a gift card balance check lol. Worst bank/union ever.

    The payment process is horrible, you can never get an actual person on the phone. It repeats the menu once you get all your account info into the system. It wont let me log into the account. its shows my account phone number to be some off the wall number I have never heard. Needless to say because its obvious, this is so very frustrating!!! I have not spoken to an actual person. Still trying to make a payment, as we speak.

    Was told by the branch manager they have a policy of not cashing cashiers checks, even if written by them, if it is over a specific dollar amount. How is this even legal let alone good business ? No problem though, walked across the street to Frost Bank who was happy to open an account with the same check.

    I have been with grfcu since 2005. I am really grateful to them since they were only ones who approved my first car loan out of college. Thank you. Having said that they need to have better customer service. Never received check books after several tries of ordering. Online portal was abysmal until recently. And it’s ridiculous that they charged me5$ for address change failed notification. It’s not about the amount but having been their customer for 15 years and with significant savings with them this is a tragedy that they can’t treat long standing customers with some courtesy and respect. Still credit unions are better than big banks just need to find a new one.

    I have been with this bank since1997 and now time consider change the bank. It's been twice the holiday ( not a big one I talking about) chase and wells Fargo still open but this one closes 2 days straight. At that time I need real personal services. Not a machine. I understand they close for a holiday but the holiday not until Sunday. At least open drive-thru on Friday and Sunday for a couple of hours. Other than that this bank is awesome. I move 10 away but I still keep with this bank. Now I think I did with them.

    Excellent service from 3 of their staff, including the branch manager Ceara! We appreciate they spent the time needed by helping us set us 3 accounts into our trust and also worked with a wire transfer of funds. They all were pleasant, helpful, and courteous and we would highly recommend this branch on Lamar to anyone.
