Scheduled an appointment a week in advance and took a vacation so my adult Son and myself could change to GNCU together. We patiently waited while five employees tended to three customers, only to be told my son who just moved here had to provide proof of residency. Having invested a days vacation, time, and gas, we went back to his home to get proof. Then went to the University branch where three employees tended to one customer, only to be told it would be three hours before they would help us. Simply stating the requirements for new membership on the website when scheduling the appointment would have prevented GNCU from ruining my day, time and money. I gave two stars because they were polite about about it.

I had to pay $100 in fees that I had no idea about. Not sure if other Credit Unions do the same thing but I would not recommend this business to anyone

Terrible service starting lately. Constantly tells me I have more money then I do. Never open on Saturdays now due to covid, can't reset my password on my account.

My family walked in here on a weekend before closing to open accounts for us all. We closed our account with BOA because we were just tired of the BS from them. BOA CS aren't very helpful. So we decided to go with something local and they knew they only had 30 minutes to get us all finished and stayed a little later after hours. Walking in was a lot more welcoming. I didn't feel like we were in a financial institution that anytime I needed help or favors, there was never anything they can do. Greater Nevada gave me positive responses and tried to do everything they can to get what we needed. And they gave their word on what they promised. It also felt like we walked into an APPLE / VERIZON store. Everyone was helpful. The representative who assisted us was an awesome gentleman who helped get us started. So glad we bank here now.

Had a very difficult time applying for a credit card. I had went to Fax my pay stubs, social security number and proof of residency from Mae Anne Greater Nevada to send to credit place and Mae Anne Greater Nevada faxed my Information to the wrong place! Now, my information is somewhere? It had been 1 whole month since I’ve received update on my credit card. The Mae Anne was very unprofessional and disorganized. I’m very disappointed with the lack of little service I received from them. I would highly recommend another bank.

The teller didn't understand how money orders work and instead of asking for assistance just told me she couldn't process it. Went elsewhere and cashed it with no problem.

Like all things in Nevada, this credit union malfunctions constantly. Not a day goes by that I don't regret signing up for this business. Avoid all Nevada ran companies, Nevadathals often become confused with even simple tasks.

The staff here has changed so much since they first opened. They act more like a bank now then a credit union. One thing I have noticed is that they have started to hold charges until you have a low balance. And then they will push a larger charge so that they can try to get you for a fee. I have been extremely careful and watching it. But this last week they got me. $300 in overdraft fees posted on Sunday before the bank was even open.

I highly recommend this branch of the Greater Nevada Credit Union. It is easily accessibly. The tellers at the counters are pleasant, efficient and quickly complete transactions. I especially find the Senior Member Service Representative, Atris Johnson, very knowledgeable and helpful. I have gone to this branch with difficult problems regarding various transactions and Artis has quickly provided very acceptable resolutions. If you are looking for a branch that provides exceptionally good service, I recommend going to this branch.
