We purchased a building lot from Great Pocono Homes and agreed to the construction contract over a year ago. The lot is beautiful. We were shown several by Mike and Kim in Towamensing Trails as that is where we wanted to live. Mike was most helpful with the design of the house and Kim was a pleasure to deal with picking out all the other features. The choices we were given would have been considered as extras in our previous building experiences. The price for our style home has increased several times since we signed our construction agreement, but not for us. We offered several times to compensate for the increased cost of materials. Mike has always refused and lives up to his no escalating clause. We are most anxious to be in our new home and the process has taken longer for than expected. But the communication from Great Pocono Homes as to why delays are happening is appreciated.and understood. We have Mike's cell number and Kim's and they continue to respond to any of our questions. We continue to believe the wait is worth getting a home of our choice with so many quality features Jim and Jean

We live in unprecedented times due to COVID and other factors. Fortunately, We selected the right builder! Mike and the GPH team are always available to answer questions and outline status of the build. Their updates are well timed and informative and you really get a sense of their passion and pride as a home builder. We built a new lakefront home with GPH in 2018. With a lakefront property we were challenged with having the front of the home face the lake but wanted to avoid the look of driving up to the back of a house. Mike and Bill worked with us patiently to design exactly what we wanted. Throughout the process it was very clear that the primary focus of this company was to deliver something we were happy with. When building a home you create a relationship and I can't imagine anyone doing it better than this company. All costs were transparent and up front and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. Throughout this process we have told ourselves at least a dozen times that we absolutely picked the right builder, and in the end we feel that we made friends over this process not just a builder/client relationship. My advice is look no further than Great Pocono Homes if deciding to build and we're sure you won't be disappointed. From custom stone work, custom bar and custom built in bunk beds; there is nothing this company couldn't provide for us.

Mike and his Team are an honest group that sincerely care about their customers. They are easy to contact and make themselves available. We appreciate their responsiveness. Great value and great service.

My wife and I recently had a Chalet built for us by Great Pocono Homes. We had a great experience working with the team of professionals at Great Pocono Homes and they did everything that was requested. There were no surprises, which was a treat for us. After my home was completed, we received comments from our neighbors stating that because of our home, it increased the values of theirs. We are really very happy that we had chosen Great Pocono Homes to build an exceptional home for us.

I had been doing research for a home builder in the Pocono area for several years. I interviewed several builders and picked Great Pocono Homes, it was a easy decision. Mike and company are extremely knowledgeable, forthright and honest. I am in the process of having a home built by them and I could not be happier. I find them to be dedicated and hard working. I am greatly looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life in the home that is being built by them. I'm happy to have found them.

Do not recommend this builder. Great salesman, but that’s about it so far. Communication is poor. Started process of building our home in July. November is almost over and the trees have not even been cleared off our lot. I will keep posting updates but wanted anyone thinking about using this company to be warned. Do your research and if someone tells you that Mike is a great salesman and has too many homes waiting to be built and not to go with Great Pocono Homes, listen to them. That’s what my husband and I should have done!

I would highly recommend Great Pocono Homes as your builder. Mike was exceptional and gave great advice when building our home. From start to finish, the team was outstanding to work with and the quality of the home is superior. It has such a "warm and cozy" feeling, it's not just a house, it's a HOME! We were extremely happy with the entire process. If you want to have the best experience building your home, then we highly suggest GPH, you will not be disappointed.

Great Pocono Homes recently finished building our mountain chalet in TT. We absolutely love it. This was our first time building a home from scratch. Mike and his team made the process very painless while also helping us make some great adjustments to fit our preferred styles. We built two homes with Great Pocono Homes. Both were built as spec homes on lots that we had purchased. We had the first house sold before it was finished, which spoke to the great value in GPH homes - and keep in mind that we had to make a profit on the home when we sold it!! The second house sold soon thereafter. The experience of building one home can be stressful, so needless to say we were worried about our decision to build TWO!!!!!!! Both went very smoothly and Mike was available at all times to answer any of our questions or concerns. We made modifications to the original designs which were accommodated with no fuss. At no point were we ever hit with any additional fees or charges. The quality and workmanship of both homes was top-notch and as I said earlier, we thought it was a tremendous value. We were extremely pleased with our experience and recommend, with no hesitation whatsoever, Great Pocono Homes.
