A very poor performance in a real estate closing. Would never ever use again .... though they may be the best there is in the PA Poconos. Some of the issues: when the assigned closing manager went on leave the job was not reassigned to others (even after others in the office were contacted) and so we missed the closing date by about two weeks; sends documentation by blind emails with little follow-up to ensure received; poor communications with all parties involved to ensure they had the necessary documents to close; when I jumped in to sort out the problems to try to get things back on track everyone at Paramount seemed to just want to point fingers at coworkers and other organizations instead of addressing problems; was asking for paperwork I had sent them and was in their possession; sent packet of paperwork requiring notarization, which I learned only half of which was required after I questioned the appropriateness of it; sent a personal privacy statement requiring signature that authorizes Paramount to sell your personal information, but only if for their business benefit, and that ultimately they didn't care if I signed; no notification of completed closing (it was done in absentia by seller) until I followed up because no check was received 5 days after closing; the closing settlement check was sent general first class mail and so arrived nearly a week after closing, in part because they didn't bother sending out until four days after closing.

I don't know if they are the only game in town or the best but they are they are the company that EVERYBODY uses. Kim is a true gentlemen and professional.

Paramount abstract as one of my go-to title companies. My office has been working with Them for many years they get the deals closed.
