Golden 1 Credit Union Arena Blvd, Sacramento

This is one of the slowest Golden 1 I have ever encountered. Some days they will two or three teller. It’s always never enough worker to work during the busy days. The credit itself is okay, but the people they hired aren’t enough to be at this branch. Sometimes I will wait for at least 45 minutes or longer behind of 8 people. Zero star. I don’t think I will credit with Golden 1 again in the future.

This location needs new management. A good manager would keep a clerk or two 15 minutes longer, go into overtime if needed, BUT keep a line with 20 customers happy and not have them wait for 2 clerks waiting for 45 minutes. People switch banks for these reasons, unless Golden 1 doesn't care to keep customers.

A big line at the teller. And for the personal banking as well. There were 5 personal banker, only one serving the customer. The others were talking with their iwn employees for longer periods and ignoring the customers that were waiting. Waited for an hour for our turn. Bad customer service...

The line at noon is usually bad, but today was horrible. There are 2 clerks a d 15 people in line. They then stop helping people waiting in line to help the disabled counter. Essentially cutting in front of the 15 people waiting as we should. I'M ON LUNCH AND WAS HERE FIRST! Horrible customer awareness and appreciation.

I have no idea how they work and what criteria they apply. My sister gets approved exactly for the same thing I got disapproved for, her credit report was also not better then mine and she had debt which I didn't yet they approved her and disapproved me. My sister is sure they messed up with our identities. More over I once ended up with their rep who apart from not knowing her job didn't even know hot to print her documents and also insisted my minor kids had to be there to get their SSN registered. What the hell!!!! Why do they even retain ppl who having trained yet cannot perform? I have wasted all my time every time I have walked through the doors of Golden 1😡😡😡😡😡😡

Generally good customer service, but terrible with hours. They claim to be open until 2 on Saturdays & Sundays. Once I showed up at 1:50 to do a quick check cashing, and they closed and locked the doors in my face even though there wasn't a line with 10 minutes still open. Today they were completely closed. The door says open til 2 pm. Seriously, update your posted hours of you aren't going to adhere to them.

After a 45 min wait to speak with a personal banker, I was told they weren’t able to help me setup a business account!! Really wanted to give Golden 1 Credit Union a try to see the difference and compare to other financial institutions- thankfully I have and will continue with my current financial institution.

I’d leave less than 1 star if I could. Worst Golden 1 location in the greater Sac area. The lines are ALWAYS overwhelming, and there are ALWAYS 3 or more tellers NOT helping people. They avoid eye contact and either chat between eachother or surf their computers. Awful customer service. I hate coming to this location. Gotta love watching tellers pack up and leave at 5:00pm sharp while there are 30 people in line.. suuuper comforting to know we customers come first.

Overall good customer service when you speak someone. But on lunch time rushes never enough tellers helping. Always expect 20 to 30 mins.

Took three trips, the last of which was 3-1/2 hours long, to fund a private party used car loan. Being the seller, I can tell you that I won't be banking with Golden 1. Super slow, messed up the loan, had to get a manager to fix. Terrible experience.
