Golden 1 Credit Union Santa Clara Dr, Roseville

Ten minutes after my scheduled appointment time and obvious existing appointments were nowhere close to finished...why schedule appointments then??? The person who acknowledged me when I arrived could have let me know they were running behind and for about how long. Common courtesy. I don't recommend Golden 1 to anybody anymore. However I do give props to the staff at the Folsom location. It's farther for me but worth it because their staff seems to have much better knowledge and customer service. So sorry I even bothered with this location.

I have been a member for over a year! I do not ever plan to leave! The line can be long, but patience is definitely a key trait I love to have on hand because in the end, the tellers do everything they can and have always been so kind and helpful with me since day 1! A long line though indicates a lot of members! I always see happy faces around especially from the workers! Beyond grateful for Golden 1! Having them since I was a teenager and now half way through 18. Other banks I got bad vibes from since I was newly an adult, mostly thinking they would try to take advantage of me since I'm not super genius about banking. But Golden 1 has always had answers to my questions, fixed simple mistakes. A lot of the reviews I've seen take me by surprise as I usually have never witnessed. But I also know some people are in rushes and need to go but I have a lot of time to be patient with everyone. Honestly you should always see for yourself before judging a review. And I'm so glad I took advantage of checking it for myself in person, because I've never been disappointed! -Your member at Golden 1!

I have been waiting line along with about 7 other people for over 15 minutes. There are 2 tellers and at least 2 free bank employees here. The 2 tellers are with people but the other 2 have done nothing to assist with this long line, not even a greeting to say how long it will take. The 3rd teller got to his window at 9:28, it is now 9:42 He has not made eye contact or anything just staring at his computer.

Got there at 4:58 and they said they were closed. I was only there to pick up a check to purchase a vehicle. Manager said sorry the printer is turned off. I drove an hour and a half to buy the car and wasn’t able to buy it due to the Manager not being flexible with me. Bad experience to say the least

One of the worst waiting times and experience i had at any banks. The loan officers were more worried in getting their breaks and lunches. They do not care and seem cocky/stuck up. They did not seem happy workers at this branch.

Your appointments may be a goodies for some. However it does not fit well with me. Sorry but I will not be left feel to be a fourth class customer at any bank. You have let me feel that way on more than one occasion. When there's there customers in your bank, two on line for a teller and myself. I hardly think I need an appointment with at least four bankers sucking down a Starbucks, with no clients.

I've used this branch quite a few times over the last 11 years and while I believe my home branch (Sunrise) is better I've gotten nothing but decent service from this branch. I'd normally give this location 4⭐ for being real good, I've read some of the other reviews and they deserve an extra ⭐ for just for having to interact with some of those 1⭐ people.

This review is for Melissa Bane @ Santa Clara, Roseville CA. Golden 1 ONLY! After being on the phone 3 separate times with 3 separate BIMBO’s, these chicks couldn’t figure out a inaccurate charge. Each one wanted to argue about a few dollars & tell me what I charged. They had no idea! It is called COMMON SENSE, chickadees! Then, went into the Santa Clara Office in Roseville for a different transaction altogether. Signed in to wait for a Banker, as the tellers, as well as the phone personnel don’t have a CLUE! Melissa Bane, saw that we have been with Golden 1 for over 30 years, and handled a difficult situation with grace. She was fast & accurate! So, I mentioned the impossible task of dealing with the “phone chicks” regarding I think a dollar. She didn’t hesitate & said “I will take care of that.” Nice mature, intelligent woman, finally! These chicks need to look at the customer’s background & accounts, and not lose a longtime customer over a few dollars. YES, MAAM I WILL TAKE CARE OF THAT! is all these DUMB CHICKS need to say. Thank you to MELISSA BANE!!! Left after 35 years of banking with them!

Told me they would be holding a check for 7 days. As it turns out, they meant 7 business days, not including the date deposited. Theyre actually holding my check for 12 days. If 7 becomes 12, who knows what other numbers theyre interpreting like that. Should I really trust a bank that looks at numbers so subjectively?

ugggggghhhh!!!! this location is horrible. pack a lunch and bring a chair if you're coming inside. tellers are the slowest on earth. 20+ people in line and only 2 tellers working. been here 30 minutes anf only halfway thru the line. worst banking experience every time I come to this location.
