After that was taken care of, we went back and started the process. He worked with us many times after hours, and went the extra mile to make the process streamline with my work hours. After a series of unfortunate events including a near death medical emergency that required extensive hospitalization and time out of work, I found myself in serious financial trouble. It took the better part of three years for my husband and I to claw our way out of a massive hole. When we felt like we were finally ready to purchase our first home, we started the process with another company only to be denied at underwriting— a huge set back. We immediately began the process again with several other brokers/lenders but never seemed to gain any momentum, often waiting days or up to a week for a response or return phone call.
