Gesa Credit Union Triple Crown Way, Yakima

I Had accounts with Gesa for 4 years and then as soon as hard times came from the COVID pandemic and I became unemployed they were constantly overdrafting my account over and over instead of rejecting payments it just dug me into a deeper hole to get out of. Once that account was shut down and sent to collections by them they proceeded to close my credit card that I had in great standing for over 4 years. Even after being a loyal customer for years they did nothing to help me get back on my feet. Not even to defer a payment or two. This bank is money hungry. If you don’t have money anymore they no longer care about you and your business. Also it takes an average of 2 days for their online banking to even be correct, I used to LOVE Gesa and now I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Absolutely terrible customer service and practices! With only two other customers in the bank, I was unable to see a representative about depositing money into an IRA account. A week later I attempted to make an appointment over the phone to see someone about the same matter, as well about an IRA CD at their bank that was about to mature. However, the only way to make an appointment with someone regarding these matters was to wait around for someone to call me and schedule the appointment!

completely incompetent customer service. I got a car loan from this place a few years ago. I placed an auto-payment on the account. Needless to say Gesa credit mucked up the auto payment upon updating their IT system and ruined my credit score. I paid the Vehicle a few years later and they have failed to mail me the car title (been 3 years). I would NOT recommend GESA to my worse enemies.

Such a horrible experience with Gesa Credit Union, from them losing my payment to them increasing my interest rate. Not to mention I paid on time every month, had this car for almost two years and they denied me when I was trying to refinance. WORST PLACE TO GET A LOAN

These folks have helped me out of every jam I have gotten into. I come in as rare as I can, normally I have a problem and they are ready to help each time. They provide coffee and tea, which goes quite a ways in my book. I have worked with Kevin or Keith? Cant remember but he wasted no time in sitting with me and fixing my issues with my account or lost card or disputed charges . Helpful, courteous, and professional. I have held an account there for 3 years with no regret. You and your money are looked after here.

Gesa has been great! I had them for a car loan in the past and will be using them again in the future. Great customer service. Not only at the Yakima branch off 40th but also the branch in Lynnwood answered all my questions and made the process fast and easy!

Worst customer service out of any credit union I have had to deal with in the past. I have multiple experiences with this union and every single time they have been a pain to work with. There have been 4 seperate times i was supposed to get a call back from them and they never call back after days. I have had employers be completely rude to me for asking simple questions; lastly this bank will take its sweet time doing anything for you. So if it normally takes 30 min, expect about 48 hours of a wait. Gesa service sucks.

I am not sure which office previous reviewers have been using but I have had only very polite, very efficient employees helping me when I have made my loan payments. Especially Martin at the 40th Ave., Yakima branch. He has been great, always has a nice smile and gives me a Thumbs Up when we finish with our transaction. Our loan is now paid off but I will probably continue with a savings account and if/when needed will certainly look to GESA for financing. Thanks!

False Credit Reporting they do not prove correct information and basicly are breaking the law under the the ftc they ingore dispute letters and proving the the debt is valid or not really stupid after the loan was paid in full its still being reported innaccurate
