The lobby closing shouldn’t be an option at this location because the drive thru is incredibly SLOW, definitely considering pulling everything out and going somewhere else.

When that happens, it does cause slower drive-thru times, but we assure we are doing everything we can to service members as quickly as possible as we understand no one enjoys long wait times. Poor service. After waiting an hour for the banker to return from lunch she claimed her system was down and would not be able to open a new account for me. But proceed to help other customers. One of the tellers adv me that the Marietta system was up and I could go there. I decided it wasn’t worth my gas. I withdrew the cash and open the account at Delta credit.

Do not go to the Douglasville Branch. They do not care about their customers. During this pandemic time only the drive thru is open so all transactions no matter how difficult or long they take to process, you are forced to wait it out in long lines. So after an extremely long wait, the window teller could not help do something I have done in the lobby in the past that took 5 minutes, and I was told to pull out of line and someone would bring out papers for me to sign. Turns out someone called me to discuss the transaction and told me to get back in line (they didn't come out to me). I've now waited another 40 minutes in line and still not at the window. Have been at the bank now for 2 hrs and still counting.

This is the worse branch ever. Slowest drive thru. It takes you at 45 minutes to make a deposit. Lobby is always close.

DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. They have no idea what they're doing and outsource literally every aspect of their banking services. I paid a bill online that never made it to the payee. Over the span of several days I called and called, got disconnected, connected to departments that couldn't help and transferred me to other departments that said I would have to call back in because they didn't handle that aspect of the bank (or hung up on me directly). There still is no resolution and I am missing over $1200 out of my checking account on a lost check that the biller never received in addition to late fees/finance charges from the biller themselves for nonpayment. This bank is a total NIGHTMARE to deal with -- stay far far away.

Absolutely the slowest drive through service on the planet!! The Douglasville location. There is no reason to take as long as they do. No respect for peoples time. If there was a rating lower than one star I would have used it.

I have been a member of Georgia's Own Credit Union for over 20 years. I have gotten many loans through this company over the years and it has always been a great experience. Well, things have changed with this company. I am still in a month long process of getting a loan for a RV and the nightmare just keeps on coming. This company is a mess. Starting with the phone system, to the loan process and now a month later they are losing documents from the seller. The phone system seems to keep you in a loop and it is hard to actually get to the people you need to talk to, then the loan process was a nightmare since they kept asking for new documents that was never mentioned even down to the wire at 5 o'clock on a Friday when we had to pick up the RV that weekend (and they had over 2 weeks to ask me for these documents). Now they have lost the power of attorney from the seller. Now I have to meet the seller to get more paperwork signed. And they live over 2 hrs away from me. Wow. This company is a mess!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Georgia’s Own Credit Union. They have amazing customer service!!! I was able to refinance my car for a lower rate within a day! Thanks to Emma for outstanding communication and professionalism!

I've never had a "Credit Union" account. I am a loyal Bank of America customer for the past 25 years. I opened up a separate account with Georgia's Own Credit Union in October 2019 only because I have heard good things about credit unions, but this company has the absolute worst customer service!!!! I went to the actual branch about my issue the branch then gave me a 1-800 number to call after I called the 1-800 they referred me back to the branch after waiting for 30 plus minutes!!! The 1-800 did do me one favor she sent the branch and "Urgent" email asking for a "Manager Only" to call me back that was per my request and here we are 2 weeks later still NO PHONE CALL FROM THE DOUGLASVILLE LOCATION!!!
