Highly recommend Gem! I’ve worked with other financing companies for cars and they have a tendency to be rude and harass you if you’re a day late. We’ve been customers for 3 years and they’ve always been willing to work with us if something came up. We had a lot of issues come up with the car we purchased 3 years ago and we had put a lot of money into fixing and replacing things. I thought since it was a used car and we still had some payments we were stuck until it was paid off. We went in to see if there were any options and they went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get a safer and more dependable option. The wrote off the amount we owed on our first car and since we’d been customers for awhile and had a good payment history we were able to get a lower interest rate and did not have to come up with a down payment. I am so grateful they were able to help us get a new vehicle. It’s newer and less mileage than what we had. Thank you so much for how you value and help your customers!

They are not only willing to work with you, they are also always there for you! They truly care about their customers and I will recommend them to any and everyone! Ali did so much in helping me out when I needed it most and kept me updated everyday throughout the process! Overall, this is a great group of people who provide the best customer service I have ever seen come from a buy-here pay-here company!

My truck broke down on a Sunday evening and I was out of the warranty period and they still helped me pay to get it towed to a shop and get it fixed and running again and just added it to my loan I spoke with Allie she is awesome she was super sweet and very helpful thanks again GEM Financial for everything you do to make sure that your customers stay happy I will definitely be doing business with you all again

I cannot express how much I appreciate GEM Financial. They were able to work something out with me after finding out all the things that were going on with my car. Not a lot of places would care and will make you figure out how to get it fixed. Not GEM, they were able to get my car in right away and communicate what's going on and gave me an option that worked best for me. This is one finance company I will continue to use for a vehicle.

There website is down they can't give me a time on when it will be fixed. I asked what is my remaining balance they never responded with any information. I told them I won't make a payment until I get access to the website. They got rude with me asking to make a payment now over Facebook Messenger the most insecure place to give anything personal. Worst customer service ever!

This place is actually great, please don't be so quick to write them off because they finance for buy-here pay-here dealers. It's so refreshing to actually call a place that you're paying and get to speak to an actual person that not only knows your name, but takes a genuine interest in making sure they can correct the issue you have reasonably while helping you stay on track. Ali especially has been a lifesaver for me, and was going above and beyond to even call insurance agencies and different auto shops when my car was being totalled because I was being jerked around and did not know nearly enough about the process to advocate for myself. If you actually communicate with them they are more than accommodating and understanding as well.

The cars they finance are junk, overpriced and will break down on you before owning it for a year. For example I pay $400 for a 10 year old car that had 130k miles on it. That has been a lemon since day 1. And they will offer to help get it running but want to tack more money on your monthly payments. And don't you dare go through any financial hard ship even during a pandemic because they will call, email, call your work etc.. and harass you every single day multiple times until you pay. Even after telling them you don't have the money they will get rude and tell you that they need some kinda of payment. It doesn't matter if you're an hour late, or a day late they are calling to collect their money and want it even if you have to go without food for your family otherwise they threaten to tow your car. Stay away. This is the second time I went through them first time was amazing so I thought I would be safe a second time since my first car had blown a head gasket.

Very pleased! I purchased a vehicle and GEM financed the car. A month after I purchased the car I had an engine issue. Emily Williams, my account advocate, was very VERY helpful, even when I was a bit irate. She held her cool and made a VERY infuriating situation tolerable. Even though I was being rude, she could see I was just upset and did EVERYTHING she could to make the situation better, and calmed me down in the process! Throughout the entirety of my situation she followed up with me, even when the dealership didn't. Emily made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. THANK YOU EMILY!!!
