The service is great, Steven is so professional, he responds my questions and gave me solutions immediately.

Friendly local bank. Really a joy to interact with most employees here. Usually quick and streamlined. Been with them for 20 years and they've had my back. It's a bank, but really still has that small town vibe.

Tried to deposit a check using my phone to find out two months later it was rejected. They forgot to tell me or disclose it on their website to write down " for GECU online deposit". How was I supposed to know? Now my check has been rejected again and this time I'm sure they will come up with another absurd excuse.

Got a car loan worst experience ever. After I made change of address gecu failed to update. So never received my plates because they were sent to previous address. GECU cared less and I had to buy my second set of plates. I had to take time off from work because they never cared to fix my problem. showed no sense of urgency to help me out.

This rating is based on my visit to crossroads locatjon on Westside on Saturday July 13. Arrived approximately 2:45pm mdt and security guard advised everyone gone...could not believe it as they are scheduled to be open til 3pm mdt. The system apparently was either turned off so could not have my deposit processed or possibly it was a system offline issue. Regardless, GECU employee-manager or front desk should have been present.

If there was a zero or negative score GECU should get it. The have 5 people standing around staring at a computer and doing nothing when there are 20 people waiting for "automated tellers" if you want a bank that lost the idea of custom service bank here. They hire obviously green kids to be the face and they have zero care and zero knowledge of what is going on. Literally 5 of them standing looking at what seems to be a solitaire game in the computer. There are way better credit unions in town that offer CUSTOMER service not make it easier for them. So one saw me and asked if I needed help and "I said yes I'd like to make a transfer...the response oh, I can't help you with that. Then why ask?"

I have been a member since I moved back to El Paso..I do most of my banking online but whenever I have to visit in person..I have always had professional & friendly service. No monthly extra charges. I highly recommend using a Credit Union instead of bank especially GECO.

Great customer service. Not a big fan of the personal ATMs. I opened a new account. A worker named Jorge provided his services. Jorge provided great customer service and he answered all my questions. I honestly recommend Jorge if you have any question or any concerns.

Terrible service, treated me like I was not a valued customer. Went in to reinstate an atm card because my wallet got stolen, and the man who was working did not want to give it to me. I had a passport, my account info, and a social security number. He told me to leave and bring back a valid drivers license (he knew mine was stolen already since I told him). I went back home to find another valid form of ID. Once I returned with the valid identification, the security told me that I couldn't be serviced since it was about closing time. I told her the extent that I had gone through to try and receive my atm card, and the employees were all still tending customers. It literally would've taken 3-5 minutes to do for me, while I spent hours driving back and forth to get what they needed. Security told me to leave regardlessof that fact. It was the most terrible service I've ever received since I became a dealer with GECU. They definitely do not care for the customer, and only what time they get to go home. I work in customer service, and I would have NEVER done that to any of my customers. Oh! I almost forgot about this one. One of the night security guards crashed into my car on his way out of work right in GECU's parking lot meanwhile I was leaving the property from taking money out of the atm. Didn't say anything about it until now, I felt the need to speak out based on today's experience. Your property would've received a half to no stars if I had the option to.

Terrible Bank. Long lines while employees sit behind the counter and do nothing as customers sit in line for automated tellers. Not offering assistance of any kind to shorten lines. Ending my direct deposit, accounts, and business and going to people who have humans helping people.
