I just picked up my new Chevy Traverse at Garber. This was truly the best car-buying experience I have ever had!  John Merritt was very low-pressure and very patient answering all of my questions prior to the purchase.  He was easy to reach and always quick to get back to me. I should've written this almost a year ago but better late than never. Other dealerships could learn a thing or two from Garber Chevrolet! I bought an out of state Chevy truck that ended up having many issues. Garber Chevy is honest and went above and beyond to help me every step of the way. From the owner to the mechanics to everyone in between... awesome! I cannot thank them enough for such wonderful hospitality and to the service! Thank you!!!

I asked for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon return of the vehicle, I asked, "were the tires actually rotated?". I asked, because it dawned on me that no one asked me where the wheel locks were to be able to rotate the tires. the attendant, checked the notes and said, well, no one said anything to me and there are no notes, so yes, they rotated the tires. that didn't sit well with me and when the porter handed me the keys, I asked the porter, did the tires get rotated? the attendant was slightly agitated that I asked the porter, which I did not know was a porter, I thought he might be a mechanic...but she asked the porter to go back and ask the mechanic. the mechanic said, "no, I didn't rotate the tires, they didn't need it". What! I paid for rotation...and no notes, nothing. Had I not stuck to my intuition, I would have walked out for services not provided and false sense of maintenance. This greatly annoyed the attendant, who then refunded the non-service of tire rotation and then provided me a signed note of 1 free oil change. I am appreciative of what the attendant did and that supports my mostly positive rating, but the communication between mechanic and attendant was broken and mechanic not doing service as ordered is unacceptable. I knew...no one asked for the wheel locks... I updated the review from 3 to 5 stars. The business contacted me within hours and shared how they had a communication breakdown and how they are improving their process and to ensure that the mechanic's decision is updated on the work request such that services rendered, or not rendered, are properly reflected in final charges. To the credit of the mechanic, he recognized that a tire rotation was not necessary. The communication process failed in that the work order was not updated to show no tire rotation performed. Thus, the failure to update the cashier attendant. I credit Garber with recognizing a weakness in their communication process and their commitment to improve and own the mistake. I plan to return to Garber for future services.

Although it can be exciting, buying a car can also be a truly overwhelming experience.   I purchased a GMC Acadia recently from Garber.  I am not one to heap false praise on anyone or anything but I have to say,  in all honesty, that my experience in purchasing my new vehicle was a wonderful, seamless experience from start to finish! Our salesman, John Merritt, was very communicative, a true professional in every sense of the word! He did not dismiss any of our concerns, patiently answering every question.  There was absolutely no sales pressure which we truly appreciated!  John kept my wife and I informed every step of the way.  And when he called me several days ago to state that my car had rolled off the truck (ahead of schedule!), his excitement reflected my excitement!  I would be remiss if I did not mention how great Pat, "the finance guy" was as well! Pat was organized, patient, personable (as was John) and my wife and I walked away from Garber smiling at our car buying experience.  Bottom line, Garber is highly recommended and when you go, ask for John and Pat.  They do it right and you won't leave disappointed!

We just purchased our fourth vehicle from Garber auto mall and as always we are very satisfied with the quality of the dealership. I talked with Tristen about three weeks previously just for the type and cost of the car my husband was looking for. He gave me his card and when we came in, he was very convincing that we would like the Traverse they had even though my husband wanted an Equinox. We really liked the Traverse and proceeded forward with Destiny. She has a very sweet personality and worked with us so that all paperwork was accurate and complete. We even had an issue with a current insurance card and she called our insurance company and within minutes, they emailed her a current insurance card. The only reason I didn’t give a five star rating was the fact that it did take a very long time but I believe that was because we went on a Saturday and there was a person on vacation. Good for Garber that they remain busy during the times we are going through. Our son-in-law also purchased a Silverado not too long ago, so we do keep it in the family. Thank you for taking care of our family over the last 23 years.

I bought my 2018 Encore at Garber - new. When I went in to get an oil change and tire rotation the pricing structure was very confusing and the service rep was not knowledgeable about the offers available. I noticed a special on the monitor display screen on the wall behind the rep, but he wasn't aware of it, nor did he offer it to me until I asked about it. Also and this is a big issue with me - he couldn't tell me for sure whether my vehicle was a 5 or 6 quart oil capacity, even I bought this vehicle there and all my service had been done by them. I believe this should have been readily available through the database. Eventually, I was told it was the 6 quart oil case, but when I received my invoice, it showed that 5 quarts were used. I also think the order should have the pricing showing when I sign to have the work done. Very disappointing - not my usual experience with Garber. I also don't think it should cost $80 to have a cabin filter replaced.

Max was incredibly helpful and Jacob is my guy. Great customer service and good guys, all around. I would also like to say that the finance man (apologies that your name escapes me) is a gem to talk to and made it really simple.

Max Moore is very thorough and explains things well. He listened to my wants & needs in a car, and helped me find the perfect one. My vehicle was in the shop at Garber shop from September, 2021, until the end of April 2022. 7months. I had to rent a vehicle Enterprise during this period of waiting for my car to be repaired at great expense to me. Once my car was repaired by Garber, the personnel there were kind and considerate, kept me in formed of repair progress and worked with me to get my vehicle returned to me. At present my vehicle is working well.

After leasing two Buick Envisions previously, there was little doubt we wanted to purchase a third 2022 Buick Envision. Of the three Buick dealerships we approached; all said they they could not fulfill our order due the electronic chip shortage and lack of inventory. Mr. Mike Weinert; the general manager of Garber Auto Mall, went the extra mile and found us a new 2022 Envision with all the electronic chips and technology equipment installed. After a voyage on a "slow boat" from China our new Envision arrived at Garber Chevrolet Buick GMC. It was placed on their showroom floor. The dealership made it sparkle with the ceramic protective coating applied to the paint. The painted custom pin stripping made it pop!. The Buick ball cap presented to my wife and I was also greatly appreciated. The best thing was the dealership sold the vehicle to us at a competitive price under the listed MSRP. Thank you all. We had a great experience buying our new SUV. Christian was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and personable. He made the experience easy and comfortable. He showed me how to work all the electronic parts of the car (which was all new to me) before we drove off. I highly recommend working with Christian. I will be back in the future.

I had a scheduled appointment for issues that I had called about so there was prior knowledge to the dealership. I wasn’t notified that my truck wouldn’t be finished with that day and only found out about it when I called at 5pm. I was then told my truck couldn’t be worked on the next day because the dealership received a new electric humvee that was difficult to work on and that no one had time to work on my truck. When my truck was finished a week and a half later my steering column was still open and the rubber shift boot was shoved inside my column. The truck then had to be brought in the shop 2 more times to have them put the column and rubber boot together properly. I then paid for the oil change and paid the $110 oil change price which is the same price as as the 6.6L duramax despite my truck taking 3 less quarts of oil.

Just like ordering a pizza 🍕😀. I am absolutely amazed at the convenience and service we received for our new 2021 GMC Terrain. My previous vehicle broke down on a Monday evening and I was able to contact Michael Weinhert who assured me that we would get it all figured out. I looked at their website, which was very user friendly, and picked out the Terrain. Within 24 hours, Christian Cook hand delivered my new vehicle and explained every button and how to operate the vehicle. Thank you Garber Automall for your honest, efficient, informative, and concierge service. We love the new Terrain!

First, I would like to say Shannon Cox is a great sales person to buy a vehicle from. She answered all my questions and the process was quick. I love my new SUV. The only issue I had with my purchase is with the techs who inspected the vehicle. On my way home from the dealership I noticed a noise coming from the front end. I took it back to Garber they didn't find anything. Then took it to Nissan and Tires Plus and they both found cupping in the front two tires. This occurred due to the vehicle being out of alignment. So I ended up buying four new tires and having the vehicle aligned. Problem solved. I would love to give this review a 5, but I cannot because I really feel this should have been caught before the vehicle was put on the lot.
