Fry Auto Title Reviews
C
Had everything taken care of in less then an hour. Very professional and helpful team of employees. I haven't seen a single person playing with their phone or avoiding work. I came in at 1:30pm, there were 4 people ahead of me and i was done at 2:30pm (title transfer from auction, registration and plates). However i had all of the paperwork and forms ready when i got there. I did my research with DMV and came in ready. From what I observed, customers that came in unprepared were ones taking the longest time to go get missing documents... I was very positively surprised when i arrived. Definitely is to go place for auto title.

After waiting in line 2 hours, 3 weeks in a row. Last week I was given a list of necessary items! Went back and all of a sudden there’s another whole list of things are needed again!! Same woman! Denying this, when I have a written list by her!! She’s rude and beyond words that I can print!!

Get ready to wait about 2-3 hours but stuff get done. Prepare all of your papers or reach out to them ahead of time, and they are pretty responsive on that 😁. The line is cut off at 1 PM but their schedule just updated from M-Th instead of just Wednesday

Two visits both times they closed early for a family emergency. My visits were 2 months apart. Wait in line hours to be turned down. Line is always very long. Hours change too so check ahead. My sympathy to what ever that family is dealing with. Until resolved I’d try doing business somewhere else. They have more than they can handle.

World Class Business! I arrived around 12:40 and I was seen at approximately 4:00. I did my research beforehand and I had all my necessary documents. This is a must, as this was the expectation set for wait time. The staff work diligently and carefully to make sure that everyone is treated with the same respect in regards to getting their task completed. What I learned was that the line closes at 1:00. If you’re not in line before this deadline, they simply won’t have enough time to get to you. There are some other reviews that mention that they closed early, and this was an inconvenience. I now believe based off my own personal experience that this is because Fry understand the importance of time management and set realistic expectations for their clients. If they continued to let customers join the line past 1:00, they would either have to work until midnight or simply say we’re closed right at 3:00 and anyone who just stood there for hours would have to leave. They place an orange cone out and also have someone who comes outside. In my experience it was the owner. The owner is an extremely kind man who stayed outside with us the entire time! He kindly let those who would approach the end of the line know that they were closed and to return at the earliest Tuesday (this Monday is a holiday) by 8:00 am. The owner spoke with everyone outside and made sure everyone was ok. He checked to make sure no one was overheating or having any difficulties with standing. He offered chairs, and more comfortable situations for those in need. He let a person rest in their vehicle as he held their spot in line for them until it was their time coming up. I’m not certain of the situation but it seemed apparent that the person was having some difficulties either standing for long periods of time or was overheating. Nothing critical, but important to him (and anyone else with compassion) that this person was made more comfortable. This to me demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and one of the most sincerest gestures of kindness I’ve witnessed from a company in a long time. I also took note that the owner answered many questions from those waiting in line without hesitation, judgment, or displaying any annoyance. I want to be clear that this maybe is not the standard, and not to come with the expectation that there will be an expert outside to help guide you through the process before you get inside. I would guess that he had volunteered to do this today. I never heard anyone complain! My honest opinion of that is because everyone knew that the owner was out there with us. He didn’t have to be. The cone would have sufficed and they could easily just close the doors at whatever time they decided. He endured the heat and wait with all of us. It was 100 degrees today and most everyone was masked up for the majority of time. And the owner took it upon himself to join us. If that doesn’t speak volumes about a person’s character I don’t know what does. My hats off to you, Sir! The staff inside is incredibly friendly. I didn’t feel as if I were a burden. She carefully reviewed all my documents and didn’t rush through things. She was thorough and patient as if I was her first customer of the day instead of one of her last. I appreciated that tremendously. No one wants to wait several hours only to be hurried through once it’s their turn in dealing with legal paperwork of any kind. It was the most simple and seamless process one could hope for. My tip is that if you are wanting to get your personal affairs in order come to Fry early in the morning. The wait in line was worth it. You may have to wait a few hours, but everything was accomplished for me in one trip and it didn’t take almost 2 months as opposed to an appointment at the DMV. The customer service is world class. The owner is 2nd to none. The wait is absolutely worth it. I recommend Fry hands down over anywhere else. Fry is a wonderful group of professionals that genuinely care about helping and delivering an unrivaled service for their guests. Thank you Fry!

DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF. The staff here is wonderful, but the wait is truly unbearable. I discovered Centex out by the airport, and the wait was less than 30 minutes and you can sit in your car because they will text you when it’s your turn.

Although l sat outside for 3 hours in this awful humid weather. I was served by the most patient women that took time to assist her customers with any detour that permitted someone from getting their tag or other. From being in a bad mood she gave me a smile toward the end. It's not easy dealing with people but they are professionals in handling all matters. Also l give a thank you to the gentleman that opened and close the door greeting every person.

Always very helpful and fast. Pro tip: don’t walk in there with an attitude, I promise you’ll regret it.

They are extremely rude and unprofessional. The clerks will send you away and say that you are missing information, even when all paperwork is correct. I recommend Centex Auto Title, they have an online waiting list so that you can wait in your car until they are ready for you, and you will get a text alert which makes it much more convenient. Fast, professional, timely, and super pleasant staff. I was in and out in about 8 min. 9707 FM-812 Unit 4 Austin, TX 78719 United States

This place is a good place to get your auto paperwork done. Please be advised their hours are arbitrary so calling before hand is necessary to avoid the hassle of driving there and finding out they’re closed at some random time. I went there on July 1, a Friday and not a holiday and they were closed at 1 PM. Not professional as their hours state they are open till 3 PM.

Older fellow on the stool outside was incredibly rude. I arrived just 4 minutes after the line closes (1pm) and he didn’t see me standing there until 1:20, when he told me to leave. Will not return. Maybe don’t speak to your customers like children? I understand that you have to impose a set time, and I personally was late, I own that, however; you may want to hire someone a bit friendlier to do his job.

They do trailers! Fast courteous and done once you get through the line. Have your paperwork ready. They need the same thing the DMV needs, so read up before you stand in line. Or go stand in line and find out that you have to come back and do it again, wasting everyone's time. If the employees seem blunt it may be because you're the 10th person in the last hour to come in and get angry because you don't have proof of insurance, and you're one of hundreds to come this month. Is state registration and titling an overly complex bureaucracy, of course it is, welcome to reality.😀

Hearing from the owner how difficult it has been to keep up with customer demand definitely gave me more perspective on their situation. Yes, the line was very long but they only have 3/4 people working in the office because it's so small to begin with. The fault is more on the fact that county offices and DMVs are so backed up with appointments that if people need something done quick, everyone is forced to go here and that's why it gets so backed up! The ladies who work in the office are very nice and helpful and efficient, and 2 hours of waiting vs waiting up to 2 months for a DMV appt is definitely worth it. My advice: start camping out at about 8:30am if you wanna be seen quickly! Also, given how busy they are, they don't answer the phone during business hours but they always return messages same day!

No real rhyme or reason when you walk in you don’t really even take a number very confusing but Victoria had amazing customer service skills and took care of me very quickly

I like this place. You will too if you do your research first, and make sure you have all your paperwork in order, prior to showing up. The lines are usually long. You'll have to wait an hour or so. But that's still better wait time then the DMV. The office manager is nice and really knows what she's doing. But seriously make sure you have all the documents you need before showing up. Don't waste your time. Just get on the computer and figure it out. Everything will go great if you come prepared. That being said I highly recommend this place!

Need to update your Google hours. And your hours on your front door to reflect not being open on Fridays.
