Founders Federal Credit Union E Main St, Spartanburg

I love simple. Thats just how dealing with Founders is: simple. Had my first loan through them ti get my credit started when I was 13 with my dad signing with me and every loan since then has been with them. Just refinanced my newest truck with them and Dianna Cooksey made the process extremely easy. She knows what's she doing and ill always keep coming back for more business!

This is in my opinion the Best Branch representation of kind Professionalism within the Staff members I have ever encountered! They have never talked over my head but very plain spoken and easy to understand any banking concern that you may have!! I live in Columbia and I still do banking business through this branch! Always will!😁😆😃

Rude teller charged $8 to cash a check drawn on thier bank from my wife's account. We're moving all our money. No interest in customer service, just want to rob you blind. $8 to cash thier own check! Like a Den of Theives.

I was told by the branch manager(a woman) if I brought one of my bills current she would allow me to open a checking account. I wasn’t given a specific time line so a little after a month I brought the bill current. She then told me I still couldn’t open a checking account after doing what she asked. I felt horrible after leaving. On top of that I received another hard hit on my credit report for no reason. Bad business! Don’t tell someone one thing then another it’s completely unfair! Zero stars if I could although the lady who assisted me was very nice on the left soon as you walk in( I forgot her name) yet, very pleasant!

I've been with this credit union for well over 12 years and I enjoy how they are always friendly and readily available to offer any assistance I may need. Each time I come into the location, they tell me what new services or accounts may be available to me and anything else I can do to be approved for a particular type of loan in which I may be interested . The ladies here are friendly and, above all, courteous! I appreciate this from my financial institution.

After a year of having the account, a fraudulent charge appeared for a mere $20, but the bank could not do anything to rectify this. It's about principal. Turns out, Founders is not FDIC insured. I have removed my money from the account and closed it. I advise everyone stay away from Founders, and go to an FDIC insured bank. Founders cannot protect you from fraudulent activity or protect your investments. Don't take chances!

Nice looking bank. Very very very slow service. Feel completely ignored by bank representatives. Totally unprofessional. If you are in a hurry DO NOT come her .
