Finding more and more problems with Founders the longer I have them. First ATM problems. ATMs are down constantly (for money in or out or both). Using your card if difficult at times because sometimes it just won't work for one reason than another reason. Can't use Experian Boost with Founders. Can't use founders for a Sellers account on Amazon. Login will sometimes randomly need a valid code that's sent to your phone but it never wants to send the code. Can try to change your phone number on your account but it seems that you'll never be able to since out of 4 years of asking while there in office and being told it done repeatedly it never is. Shows on their website you can do it yourself but none of that actually works. Only reports to 2 of the credit beureaus instead of all 3. (Only started reporting to 2 instead of 1 about a year ago.) Linking on paypal is possible but difficult although payments sometimes have a hard time going through cause the bank will deny them at random for security. I cant stop getting scam mail about them. I move and I still get scam mail about them. It just seems to always be something. Save yourself the headache and go to a better bank.

Don’t come to this location unless you want to sit in your car for 30-45 minutes just to put a check in the bank in the drive through!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been late to multiple things waiting on these employees to do their job. Whoever runs this location needs to hire faster employees it shouldn’t take 30-45 minutes for 1 car to move.

I have banked with founders for 5+ years and have generally been very pleased with the way that they conduct business. However, the branch manager here has been extremely rude, belittling, and deliberately unhelpful on more than one occasion. Go to a different branch if you wish to gain sincere assistance regarding your account.

I have been banking here for over 10 years! I truly enjoy how this institution makes you feel like family! They have truly assist me in building my credit to where I can buy a home for the future. It is a blessing to have a banking establishment work for the common man

The general branch manager was extremely rude and refused to refund a first late credit card payment fee, which was their fault because I never recieved a reminder plus they were in the middle of setting up automatic payments for me. It's not about the refund, it's about the TERRIBLE customer service and very unfriendly. Oh and they apparently don't accept MasterCard I'm surprised they accept visa.

Abysmal management. Please don't bank here. It's gotten so much worse over the years. We've seen the decline and the errors slowly increase since everything has gone over to online banking, and the condescending, compassionless treatment they give both their employees and their customers in the building sealed the deal for us this year to start banking with another credit union. What a disappointing experience. Founders on John B. White... if you are wanting to succeed, you need to promote some of your staff and let the current management move to another profession. They are not assessing issues.

I can’t say enough great things about this bank. Steve Lewis helped my husband and I with our auto loan. Not only was it fast and easy, he went above and beyond to make sure we finalized the loan even though it was past closing. I highly recommend them for all your banking needs!

I enjoy banking with founders, and will continue to do so. But be careful, double check everything afterwards, ESPECIALLY if you’re depositing/cashing from the coin counting machine. Tonight I discovered that the coin count I asked to *cash* was actually withdrawn from my checking account in error. The teller must’ve realized her mistake because later on that day the same amount that should’ve been cashed was deposited into my savings. Thank god I had the amount in my checking account. She was too busy distracted talking to another teller. I get it, the other teller needed help, but it could’ve waited a minute for my simple transaction to be complete. Making errors like that from being distracted is not professional. I’ve had times where the coin count amount doesn’t get actually placed into a deposit. This is partly my fault for not double checking, and I know it’s my responsibility to. I just don’t want to be a dick to the tellers, but unfortunately it’s something that has to be done.

When you really get in a compromising position with this bank your in trouble. The current manager is mean and not compassionate. They did so good until now.

Professional, friendly, decorative and a relaxing atmosphere, knowledgeable, convenient however I do wish that Founders would Branch out to other states, I've been a client of Founders for quite some time I'd say 10 years and I've always been satisfied with my service thank you. This Founders on Reidville Road has a Coinstar, a coffee machine, water fountains and very clean restrooms! Thank you Founders for being the bank you are!
