Brian Carter is the absolute worst. I called in for assistance with my account and he wasn’t willing to help. It’s ridiculous that the only late payment on my entire credit report in from 2018. I have been on time since throughout the entire pandemic. It’s hindering my credit score and I requested it be removed and he refused. Didn’t even look into it just point blank No. that’s disappointing as I don’t have a poor payment history just one late payment when my autopay was somehow removed 4 years ago. This is insane!

I would never come back to this location. I don’t understand how I got approve for a personal loan and a credit card and I can’t get a checkings account 🤦🏿‍♂️ The loan office told me it’s up to the branch manager because I had an account that went in the negatives last year, which was a couple of dollars and I had no idea it was in the negatives. If you want help go to another branch because this one is not it. Told me to wait 6 months and I can come and open another one, 8’months later and still no help.

Bryan in the loan department completely blew me off and tossed me to the back of the line when all I literally had to do was sign a document and leave. Took all of maybe 2 mins but I guess bc I wasn’t looking to apply for a new loan I wasn’t as important. An hour wait for 2 min is ridiculous. Upsetting even more was he asked came to go get me from the lobby in the first 10 min but bc I was only signing a change of date for a loan I got sat back down. His comment was “oh so you’re not here to apply for a loan”. Guess the gentlemen that he took was. Absolutely absurd.

Head Teller is a Snob, and even wears here little glasses on her nose to look the part! Always rude and unpleasant. She even denied my check that I was trying to cash from my own account because she said I wrote it out wrong. Then when I went to the manager he said it was fine.....and yet she still was rude and never even apologized. Amazing she can't even comprehend how a check functions ...how did she get to be head teller ???! I wouldn't trust her with my $$$.!!!

Every time I come to this atm at the S.Tryon location. It always is either not working or won't give me a withdrawal or do a deposit. This go around I wasn't able to do a deposit! It should be tended to more often! I would give ya'll no stars if possible. From now on I'll stick to Fort Mill, Indianland, or Lancaster for my services!

We had came down to the South Tryon office because we were interested in a mortgage, and we came because the mortgage officer Carlos spoke Spanish. Keep in mind we came from Rock Hill. We arrived the front lady asked us what we needed and she was very friendly. On the other hand Carlos just looked through the papers quick and said that we didn’t qualify, yet he didn’t tell us why. I wanted to ask him a question and he cut me off and said my husband could answer it for me. My husband doesn’t even work there. Carlos was very disrespectful and did very poorly with his customers. I came to see the reviews after my appointment and turns out so people had the same to say. If I had seen the reviews before coming I would have not even come at all.

I don't recommend this credit union. They make changes to your account....without your knowledge. The bank is not modernized enough and does not really help clients/customers. I will be moving my money to another financial institution in the area. A bigger bank that can provide more loans for all people. Good luck.

This Credit Union is the least helpful financial institution I have ever dealt with. As a banker, they are impossible to do business with. Something as simple as a transaction history could not be faxed or emailed. Take your money elsewhere.

This institution is definitely not modernized at all. My husband has a personal line of credit with them and just to make a payment you have to come in to use your card or get cash. He has also had so much trouble trying to even begin to use their online banking. It's really ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless it was a final option for a loan or something.

I wish I could give LESS than one star. Founders is obviously a "fly by night" operation. Got a loan with them and want to make payments online? NOPE! How about payments by phone? NOPE (They have a system to do it, but won't let you unless you're LATE). Signed up for their loan insurance and want to collect on that insurance? NOPE, cause the representative didn't understand the policy when selling it to you and lied about the coverage. Want to transfer funds from other accounts into your Founders account? NOPE, not unless you do an expensive wire transfer via your other bank and foot the cost. This institution is definately stuck in the 80's. They expect everything to be done by sail mail or in person. Get with the times, Founders. And stop with your "stickler" policies that drive customers for the hills. The reason their rates may be lower on some loans, is they offer no conveniance what so ever. Rather pay the extra couple bucks and use a REAL company.
