Fortera Credit Union Michigan Ave, Fort Campbell

This Credit Union has made my life a nightmare. I lost my job during the pandemic as many others. They sent my account to different debt collectors. They won’t work with me to pay them back directly, now that I’m back on my feet. They sent me to places that are charging me over 30% interest and fees. I’m on a payment plan that will never get me out debt. I call and no will give me what I owe or allow me pay the original debt that was owed. They rather have me drown in more debt and not be responsible. This is disgusting and I hope this helps others understand who you are entrusting with your money, loans, and finances.

I have been on hold now for 25 +min. You gave someone at the drive in window money out of my account and is not on my account ? Then there was a deposit of 200.00 and now shows a deposit of 160.00. I am very upset you have tried to cover your mistake and never notified me, THE account holder.Great JOB and I will stay on hold until you answer

Never get a loan through them. Had a loan, got rid of the vehicle, sent in the pay off, got credited back $471, can’t even transfer it to my actual bank account in Bank of America because it’s not an account through them. Complete and utter trash app design. If you’re a leader never let a soldier of yours get a loan through Fortera.

After moving to Fort Campbell in March 2018, Fortera was the obvious answer for my go to banking. I have had only one bank before, and I have to say that the customer service is way better here. But in my one year of trusting this bank, I have had to make fraud disputes twice! Not only that, but my two sisters who also use Fortera have had to make disputes too! I have no idea what is going on with this bank's security but this is absolutely ridiculous. I do not shop online, I have never fallen for the phone scams, and I have never put my bank info online except to pay my AT&T bill. There should be no reason I would have to pay the 5$ card renewal fee each time I have to get a new card because this bank does not control it's security and protect their clients. I have a hard time feeling safe with my money and have to check everyday to make sure there are no fraudulent withdrawals on my account.

Not an advocate for this bank and specifically this location. Having an account I go visit the branch location frequently and every time I go the customer service is substandard, the workers don’t seem knowledgeable on company protocol, and majority of the tellers have a horrible attitude. This location needs a huge facelift on customer service.

VETERANS STAY AWAY!!!! Don’t recommend this bank literally have been on the phone for over an hour. Go with USAA or Navy fed. Better chance at having them answer the phone or better yet be able to get your money!.

In a day and age where where banks don't even need to have a physical building to be successful It is expected that all banks should have a useable online platform. Sadly fortera has completely failed at online banking. When I first got a loan through them I was not able to make a payment in the online account! I had to use a separate online form with a member number that I never received. Very strange but that has since been fixed but now it seems every month I am not able to log in despite having my passwords saved and then I get locked out and have to call to unlock my account. It tried to check to see if I was human and I guess I am not human. I miss fort campbell federal credit union because I never had these problems. I am about to refinance with another bank.

I dont know whats going on with this bank, but for so long now deposits still cant be made through atm even with a sign on the atm stating “ deposits can be made” and on top of all of that this bank takes ten years to complete one task. It should not take 6 hours to get a check. Honestly only reason im still banking with fortera is because im to lazy to switch…

Worse bank ive dealt with... you cannot even see your money on Sundays so make sure you get what you need Saturday... app is always down and doesn't give you an accurate amount that you have... highly advise against this bank!!!!

SUPPOSEDLY credit unions are suppose to work together and not gouge the small people who created them. Obviously NOT as I was just charged a $3 fee for using a credit union card. SHAME on you Fortera for damaging the trust of the grassroots people who put credit unions to work!
