This bank in particular preys on the naive college students, trying to make a few extra bucks by “helping” them pay rent or transferring $ by offering unnecessary and costly methods of moving money. If you aren’t an nmu student it’s hard to make your account free. I have watched them prey on college students who don’t know much about banking or paying bills and instead of educating them they just gladly take their money. They aren’t a smart banking institution but an evil one. They are vultures who work for a predatory corporate umbrella and it’s a shame they are the bank NMU has decided to have on campus.

If you work a 9-5 job it's impossible to make it here to deposit a check and their app is so no user friendly in order to deposit it via mobile. I wish I would have switched when they changed from Wells Fargo

This is my primary bank and the workers are here are always friendly and helpful. I've been able to talk with bankers without an appointment and I almost never have to wait in line even during rush hour. As an NMU student I appreciate the help this bank and its affiliates offers.

Slowest ATM in town and they charge $4!
