    I moved out of Michigan over a year ago and I LOVE banking with Embers so much, I still do! The representatives are EXCELLENT and I always receive same-day responses to any questions. The inconvenience of not having a local bank is outdone by the incredible customer service I receive at Embers Marquette. Also, the mobile banking app is unmatched. Keep up the great work! :)

    So while I do not bank here, I have had the pleasure of interacting with many of the employees. All I have to say is that they are always friendly, always kind & always helpful!

    All reviews say staff is wonderful, I wouldn’t know. Have tried contacting via the phone for over two weeks enduring over two hours of terrible flute holding music and multiple call back request and yet to be able to speak to a human that can help.

    Frank - I apologize that it's been hard to get in touch with us. We have had unusually high call volume over the past week or so, and we are working to resolve these long wait times so we can provide better, more efficient service to our members. We wholeheartedly agree that long hold times and trouble getting in touch with somebody who can help is not acceptable.     I've been a member my whole life. The staff is super friendly and always helpful, but the whole place is stuck in the past. I'll edit my review to a 5 star if they could just, please, get an ATM that takes deposits. It's very inconvenient to have a check or cash that you can't deposit on a holiday or when they close due to U.P. weather.

    Tyler - we appreciate that feedback. We are busy making many, many improvements to technology and facilities, and deposits at our ATMs is something that is on our 1-3 year plan. In the meantime, if you have our app you should be able to take advantage of mobile deposit for any checks you have. Funds credit instantly (up to your limit) and you don't even have to drive to an ATM.     Have been with this CU for 32 years. Now live out of the area, still easy to obtain loans via phone and ESign. All branches have awesome, friendly, workers wanting to help. Wouldn’t bank any other place.
