Having been a member since 1997, it's with a clear conscious I can say that absolutely any problem I've come up against, it's fixed with one phone call. Fraud protection and resolution is fast and easy. Financing both my vehicles was also effortless. Excellent staff, always polite and patient. Thank you!

We will never use this bank for a vehicle loan or any other loan again. We purchased a truck with 190,000 miles on it and bought every warranty known to man but the one to cover the motor blowing. We spent thousand of dollars on useless warranty’s. Of coarse the motor blew and there is nothing they can do. If these people knew what they were actually doing we wouldn’t of had an issue. Be ware! They also take weeks to get back to you, don’t waste your time!

I am very happy with Five County Credit Union. From my own personal experience, they have gone above and beyond for my family and I. For those who have credit issues and expect to walk-in or call any financial institution and expect an immediate "yes", it probably won't happen. You're not going to get the best rate as someone with A+ credit. You can get mad and leave nasty comments, as I once did, but I grew up and took accountability for what I did. They have taught me a great deal about my credit score and how to maintain it. If you need help, they will work with you. Just ask them.

Their favorite word is NO. Asked them to deposit a check for me that was written to my business name while wearing my company t shirt, carrying my business cards, and driving the lettered business truck. And they had done it before. No dice. Got my business charter from my truck. Brought it in. With ID. No dice. Can't wait for my check book to run out and then all my banking will be MidCoast. It was worth keeping an account open with them when they were open extended hours, but now that they're not - buh bye.

This is a great place to do business with. Everybody has always been so pleasant and easy to work with. Answers phone in a fast manner. I would recommend this credit union to anyone.

I want to thank Five County Credit Union for their outstanding support providing me a boat loan. While I knew from the outset that it was "deep water" for them given the size, Nichole M and Courtney R took on the challenge and made it happen. I think what I enjoy most about banking locally is that there is relatively little sails pressure and lots of personal attention. Great work FCCU and thank you for getting me there.

I have been a member since 2011, I have my check directly deposited since, like clockwork. In the recent years the customer service and general responsiveness is lack luster, at best. They have started to add fees to my accounts such as “ bill pay fees” and such. They do not respond to phone message or email. We are definitely taking our money elsewhere, I think these folks have forgotten what a credit union actually is.

There are a lot of fees associated with an account at the credit union, too, just like there are at Big Evil Banks. If you change your PIN number, there's a fee. If you check your account balance at an ATM, there's a fee for that. Don't let them fool you.....credit unions are no better than banks, in a lot of ways. I was not able to get a loan through these guys, to refinance my car, either. All that talk of "credit unions offer loans when banks don't"? Yeah, I call shenanigans on that too. Customer service on the phone isn't too bad......at least the branches are conveniently located (my local WalMart has one right inside). But they certainly didn't dazzle me with their account features, and I wouldn't rave about them. Basically I started an account here so that I'd have a backup, because it's convenient.

This is an extremely unfriendly bank. Working in a local one employee retail store and running out of change they would not sell $61.00 of quarters, pennies and $10 bills to allow me to continue working. I don't have an account with them, and begged a customer of theirs to purchase the denominations I needed. He kindly agreed and despite their admonishing him for helping, he went forward with my request. What a gentleman. The teller then made me wait unduly for the change. What an unprofessional and unbusinesslike place!!

Always a disappointment with their customer service. A business with hours that clearly state 4:30pm close should not be aloud to lock the doors at 4:24pm as you are walking up to the door.. Some people work and do all they can to make it in time... So thankful I changed my banking service years ago...
