    Awesome experience! Everything was done over the phone or online! The complete process took two days. Everyone I spoke to was highly professional and efficient! I started the loan application on my cell phone and ended at a video teller. So regardless of what I was doing or where I was at I had immediate access. Loved the process from beginning to end!

    Super easy to set up an account! I made an appointment, arrived and was quickly seen by the friendly and helpful, Mrs Elmore. The setup took about an hour - probably because I asked about so many different things, but she had all the answers!

    I had not used the video teller feature before this date, and it was an exceptional experience. She pointed out a detail that I needed to take care of inside the facility, and the inside teller handled my situation quickly and thoroughly. Wonderful service all around!

    I have been a member for a few years now and have never had an issue with getting an approval for a loan or credit card. I have also never had a bad experience with the approval process or with any of the bankers. Upgrade compared to the other larger credit union in the area whom shall not be named.

    I felt like royalty when I went to open my new account. After a few really tight months and mistakes on my part admittedly; GECU closed my account after 20 years. I was really hurting with loss of employment and when I told them I found a job and could square my account on the first of the month they didn’t care and closed my account leaving me stranded while I was down and out. So I got my first check, squared my debts with GECU and found a new home at FirstLight. The staff at FirstLight treated me so well. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and extremely helpful. I’m excited to build my new life with FirstLight in my corner.

    Commissary had charged me twice for $ 114 37,since the computer froze,when i got home i realized,my account was charged twice.😡 Went to flfcu next day ,had 2 copies drawn,was told they they would take care of the mistake ,4 days later,i was given a credit for that second charge.Boy was i happy 😀Did not expect it would be resolved that quickly. THANK YOU FLFCU. JOB WELL DONE .🤗

    Your customer service is horrible. My issue has yet to be resolved. The manager wasn't of sny help and placed the blame on ME. i have yet to receive the reversal charge that was made by mistake on YOUR part. I will never bank with this institution again.

    It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Shout out to Jose for his superb professional service as well as making me feel so comfortable as if I was at home. I’m definitely glad I chose this bank to manage/secure my funds. Very clean & high tech. Bendiciones :)

    I went to the branch in N Zaragoza and the worker and supervisor were very helpful in welcoming me and getting me acquainted with the credit union and their benefits. They were friendly and approachable. The office is very clean and modernized with interacting with tellers via video call.

    Applied for a loan with first light and the experience was awesome at first, after I get told the loan processing was going to get with me in 24/48 hours that’s when things went south, had to call them myself on the 2nd day and ask what was going on. I am a first time borrower so I know nothing of the process, was told I was going to be getting a text from the processor and never did, probably just told me that to get me off the phone. So far I am disappointed with not getting a follow up after told I was. Will update my review as things follow but this is my experience so far. Update: miscommunications and wrong e-mails. The loan processing department apologized and followed up throughout the day with the process. Only thing I recommend is follow ups with clients.

    Had over 250k in the account, then charged 300 in overdraft fees because everything was in savings, not checking. Started with this CU when it was Ft Bliss FCU in the 80s. They have turned onto nothimg but robots, so much for loyalty. Our family has pulled out of this CU

    I have been a member in good standing for many years. However, I find the changes that are being made to be time consuming, disgusting, and hard to correct without more wasted time. Considering looking for another institution that still believes in face to face customer service.

    I've been a member since 1980. Our family has had different accounts and loan accounts over the years. We've always been very happy with rates and service.

    Been banking with them for years. Love that we have been able to finance and refinance vehicles, be approved for credit cards, and even opened an account for my son. Issues that I have are that they take quite a while to answer their phones, transfer to different departments that have nothing to do with what your calling about, and needing to work on retaining employees. Seems like they have new employees or maybe just inexperienced ones working there. Hours need to change to better accommodate members, especially those who work.
