First Savings Bank Sudderth Dr, Ruidoso

Tony, an employee of First Savings Bank (located in Ruidoso, NM) told me incorrect/fraudulent information and withheld useful information which caused one of my payments to be returned and for that account to go past due. Because of her negligence and the information she provided and the order of events and how they transpired, I closed my bank account with them. They should not be a financial institution in charge of handling money and employ people who give out incorrec/fraudulent/misleading information causing the customers to loose money and go past due on accounts that they were trusted with. First Savings Bank should not be in business at all. Just in the business of scamming people.Horrible bank. Tony the old blonde lady is incompetent. Don't trust them with your money/withdrawals.They sound half asleep every time on the phone. They don't know what they're doing. I would choose a different bank.

First Savings is great. Daryl Lindsay made the process of getting a loan very simple and gave us awesome customer service. Highly recommend Daryl and his team. We will use him again in the future.

I had a higher opinion of FSB Ruidoso until today. I made check deposit using the app, and it did not post. I called the Ruidoso branch 3 times and left messages. There was no return call, in spite of what their recording said. Now I will have to drive to the bank tomorrow to get a simple answer to what should have been a simple transaction. Don't have a message that you will return calls if you have no intention of doing so. Just got a response from FSB. Apparently today is Presidents Day, and as usual the banks are closed on all obscure holidays. We'll see how this goes tomorrow. Tomorrow came and my deposit would not post. You have to write the secret code on the back of the check. It must be secret because the app doesn't instruct you to do so. I ended up driving 13 miles on icy roads in a snow storm to deposit cash. Just what I was trying to avoid.

I personally deal with every bank in Ruidoso and love First Savings Bank! They are not only helpful and attentive to our needs but super friendly as well! Everyday banking, business loans or just basic financial questions are easy with First Savings Bank. Highly recommended!!!!

This bank has been absolutely amazing! My partner and I needed to do the Paycheck Protection Program during covid-19 they were so helpful in all aspects and made it easy or as our regular Banks were impossible to get ahold of, we are on the second time with PPP through them and they have been nothing but stellar in their follow through and in their customer service! It pays to use a local smaller Bank so often over the large guys.

Very well received, Oscar made my wife and I very welcome and at ease. He was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions. We left his office and Bank, as if we had been life long members.
