Tawna Cox at First Rate Financial is the best lender you will ever going to meet! Going above and beyond for my wife and I is an understatement. We truly cannot thank her enough for everything she has ever done for us. We always ask a ton of questions and Tawna always have had answers for them. She has helped us purchase our first home and a couple of years later, refinanced this house for an unbelievably low rate. Working with First Rate on my first home purchase was such a memorable and spectacular experience. I recommend them to all of my friends who are in the market looking for a home. It was easy for me to get connected to this broker because one of my friends work for them, but you know, sometimes just because a friend connects you to their staff doesn't mean that the full experience from beginning to end will be great. I am so glad that I trusted them and gave them a shot because they absolutely delivered quality work and even took the challenge of dealing with a shorter than 30-day closing period. The seller of my home asked that we close the house in 24 days rather than the standard 30 days. Being a first time home buyer and not having 100% cash to buy the home, I was pretty anxious if we really could close within that period. Christian at First Rate was my specific loan officer, and he was able to talk me through the entire process very thoroughly and reassured me that based on my credit history and current financials, we wouldn't have much to worry about. We went through the entire process together, step by step, and he was there every step of the way. He would call me to just see how life was treating me outside of the home buying process, and I greatly appreciated that. First Rate was also able to secure such a low interest rate and even paid for the difference to have it .1% lower as well. What a gift! We closed on the purchase exactly within the period that the seller asked for, and we even had a couple of extra days honestly. First Rate is an absolutely amazing team to work with, and I recommend you to consider them! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

When I decided to move back to Texas from Florida, it was an overwhelming task. With Tawna, the process was very easy as we were completing everything long distance. She made it all so easy and was there it answer any questions I had. On an added note: this was right in the medium of the COVID pandemic!! I recommend Tawna with any of your financing needs.

I was referred to First Rate Financial by a co-worker who recently purchased a home. This is my eighth move however the first time I was picking up the tab for the closing costs. I reached out to Chad Lemons and immediately made a connection. It was as if I had done my previous 7 loans with him. He was patient with all my questions and did a fantastic job walking me through all my options. Also he was always available and kept me on track with the documents I needed to produce without being overbearing. Other lenders in the past steered my towards what they wanted and at First Rate they really catered to what I wanted. Most importantly they spoke a language anyone could understand and presented my options in such a way that it was easy to make a decision. Lastly, I like that they a little bit smaller as they were way more flexible. When I first called I needed to close in a little less than 3 weeks and First Rate was confident they could do it- and they delivered. Larger firms were too busy to rush my closing. While I hope that I never need to buy another home again if I do I will certainly call First Rate Financial.

We really can not say enough good things about First Rate Financial. To start, they beat out other lenders on our interest rate by a long shot AND total for closing costs was less than other lenders which was a huge win! Our loan officer, Chad, was incredible to work with. First Rate was quick to respond always and so helpful. The best part was we were in a big time crunch with an out of state move and First Rate had our loan funded and closed within 10 days. It was unbelievable, the timing was obviously super fast but the top notch service we received was even more incredible. There were ZERO hiccups during the entire process. Can I give 6 stars?? If I would I could. Not sure where to even start, but Chad was awesome. We tested the waters with another lender, and Chad not only got us qualified for WAY more than the other guy, he did it at a rate that was so much lower, that the payment was the same. When we found the perfect house that was just a little outside of what we were qualified for, he helped push us over the top to get us approved. We also wanted to complicate things by closing about 2 weeks from the time we put the offer in.....for Chad, no problem. He was always available, and worked tirelessly to help us out. I cannot recommend First Rate Financial for your mortgage needs enough. As a first time home buyer, I was inexperienced and a little nervous going into the process of applying for a mortgage. Danny did more than enough to help ease my fears and make every step of the process as simple as possible. He was always available if I had any questions and helped explain everything to me in ways that made sense. All in all, working with Danny from First Rate Financial was an excellent experience and I will definitely be using him again for my next home purchase.

I bought a house in May of 2019, with and FHA loan. Well after 6 months of on time payments you get emails, letters and calls to refinance your home. And I'm talking multiple calls a day, emails, letters in the mail, and all promising a lower rate/save money etc! So first thing I did was go to google to see if these offers were legit. I read ton of horror stories about refinancing and even had other lenders tell me its not worth it/good time to refinance. So I posted on FB for advice or guidance and Jenny reached out to me right away and I gave her a call and spoke with her about my situation. I spoke with several other lenders that other friends of mine had recommended but Jenny had the most knowledge and made me feel like this was the right decision to make. I even told her my financial situation was not the same as when I bought the house (due to medical bills) and she told me don't worry, give me a chance to look everything over and I will always be honest with you. Sure enough I gave her a chance, and she came through better than I expected!! She saved our family about $330 a month off our current mortgage payment (and that's after the property tax increase we received). Jenny will be the only one doing my families loans going forward! I encourage you to give her a chance, you wont be disappointed!!

I normally don't write reviews, but my fiance and I had such a great experience buying our first home with Jenny Bray at First Rate Financial, I had to make sure people knew to go to her and at least get a quote from her...I promise, she will take care of you!
