First National Bank N Allegheny St, Bellefonte

Bad customer service. If the branch closes at 4, they’ll set the drive up lanes to say closed by 3.45. Service is slow, and even if you’re in drive up line before closing time, they’ll still refuse to serve you if you get to the drive up teller after closing time. I literally saw a branch employee come out and shoo people away saying they’re done for the day. Thankfully FNB has better branches in the area.

By far the worst bank and branch around. They will not do anything to help you resolve anything. They will screw up and still point their finger at you. The customer service is lacking and it shows greatly. I have had nothing but problems sense I’ve gotten my account. I tried and tried to give this place a chance but have always been left disappointed. I will defiantly be closing my account and going some where else.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Over the phone customer service wants to push you off to the local branch.... local branch makes you sit in drive thru EVERYTIME! In branch customer service is non existent!! And the ATMS are from 1995!!! Sooo old and the tellers can't even arrange the money the correct way!! DONE WITH FNB FIRST THING IN THE A.M........AFTER THEI COFFEE BREAK OF COURSE!! YOU ARE TERRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND!!

This is the only bank in town and the atm is constantly broke down

I lost my wallet. I ordered a new card but it will take 7-10 days to arrive. I called this branch to see if I could order checks and maybe get some temp checks until my card comes in. They tell me no, if I want access to my money I need to buy money orders. This sounds wrong to me so I call the east College Ave branch to get a second opinion and she tells me that they can issue me a temp card and that all branches offer this and to stop in and pick one up today. Apparently the Bellefonte branch is falling behind on money order sales and customer service. If this was the only First National branch around I would close my account.

Do not bank here!!! Was charged $111 overdraft fee because of a check I deposited that said POSTED on my online banking account and wasn't actually "posted yet?" Their answer: yeah...not sure why it said that, but were still going to charge you.

I don't personally bank there but I've had to work with them on several estates. The staff was always really helpful. If I'd ever switch banks, (not likely) I'd go here.
