First Interstate Bank E Broadway Ave, Meridian

We put all of our money from home sale into this account. Took 2 weeks to get the debit cards. Now we are waiting another 2 weeks for the pin!!! What is this the 80’s??? Not only that we couldn’t access my account because it took a week for them to put my account into the system, so we could register online. You can’t use Venmo or Zelle with them. Once they have your money it’s very hard to access by any means used other than going into the bank. Not a fan!

Ever since the change from Home Federal we have had problem after problem with this bank. Setting up changes to the account for even a simple change of address takes several attempts, and even then they only changed the address under my name and left the old one under my wife's name, which caused enough problems paying bills. Money is allowed out immediately sometimes, and other transactions take several days to process - from the same place! So tracking the account online is irritating and it's wrong up to 60% of the time. Randomly getting ridiculous charges for recurring payments is a whole other issue with these people. I'm out of patience with the bs that happens with this bank on a regular basis, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I recently opened "Meridian Watch Repair'. I needed a business account and after talking to several other local banks, ended up in their office (speaking with Ryan and Toni). They made the process of setting up an account easy and painless. Within 1 hour, I had my account and was ready to make deposits, payments and pay my bills. Excellent!. Since then, every time I stop by, I'm greeted with friendly smiles and people who are willing to assist me with my business banking needs. Now that they are merging with First Interstate, I can expect the same excellent service (Ryan has guaranteed it!) if you're looking for a local Business bank, this is the place. I really liked the Customer Service. The tellers are friendly and involved. I'm glad the change from Home Federal happened.

Terrible customer service, terrible system. I'm so completely unsatisfied. We held an account with Home Federal bank for over 10 years until Bank of the Cascades bought them out. We were told that nothing would change when they bought HF, but that is not true. We've dealt with nothing but unhelpful people at the branches and in customer service. I will tell everyone I can that they should not even consider an account with you.

Merge of Home Federal to Bank of the Cascade is terrible! Monthly fees that were never incurred before, bills paid to the WRONG place, bill pay set up is horrible, and customer service is less than desirable. Three (actually 4) strikes and I am out! Moving to new bank ASAP.

Super slow. Been sitting here for 15 minutes behind someone and haven't seen them interact with this individual since I got here. This isn't even my bank but I have to pay my rent through this bank.

Have had nothing but good experiences so far for the 2 years I've been going there. The tellers are friendly and service has been accurate and quick.

I love them at Bank of the Cascades!
