Closing doesn't have to be a nightmare if you use this title company Don't use in-house title companies from the Builder or the real-estate firm you are dealing with, they won't have your best interest at heart, far from it. I've had many closings for both commercial holdings we have and private assets and these ladies make your life easy and are pleasant doing so

Thanks to F.I.T. for another smooth closing. One thing I can say that makes a huge positive difference in this office is their excellent level of communication. Every email is answered quickly and they are helpful. This is extremely important in the real estate business because buyers and sellers, and agents need answers due to the sometimes high anxiety a real estate transaction might bring. They are a minus 5 stars but I had to click 1 star to write this. Do not use these people. I called accidentally and was treated like I committed some type of crime against them. They hung up on me and then continued to do so when I attempted to call back. I finally got someone and told her what happened and she didn’t even acknowledge what I said and just asked if there was something she could help me with. Seriously?!?! NO! NEVER!!! Don’t use these rude people. Too many others to choose from who are nice.

Say all the right things but never follow up My Title to the Property I purchased has been defective for 5 months now and International Title has done nothing to fix the Issue. Lots of Title options out there, find someone who cares

Awesome staff. Took care of me and my fiance when we bought our house. Now they took care of my mom when she sold her house. Would recommend their services without hesitation!! Thank you Nancy!

Bottom line: I don't recommend for a quick closing or mail-away. We are at the end of a mail-away closing with a very short closing date window. Some of the communication was mismanaged between the loan company and the title. The title didn't accurately reflect all the deposits on the closing disclosure. Closing documents had to be redone last minute at least a couple times which caused delays and multiple wire transfers and fees on the buyer. Instructions to do mail away signing were very unclear, which resulted in additional charges onto the buyer and repeated signings. This could have been avoided with better communication and instructions ahead of time. Buyer was responsible for paying for mobile notary. I didn't like that. Employees are mostly courteous and nice. I had one phone call with an employee in their office who was somewhat curt and dismissive. It was unclear who I was talking to. Wiring process and procedure is simple. Ultimately I missed the target closing date, and incurred additional fees becuase of that. It was a short closing window, but we could have made it, if not for some hiccups and delays due to inaccuracies, miscommunication, and poor instruction. Recommendation for buyers: -look for a different title company with better expertise in mail-away closings. -Don't assume they are going to do something for you, or do it on time. Check with them often, because the additional fees are coming out of YOUR pocket, not theirs. Recommendations for First International Tile: - Work on establishing better procedures for communicating with mail-away buyers. Make signing instructions better, easier for buyer. - Handle phone calls better. Identify who is the employee speaking. All numbers go to a generic office.
