Jeremy, Matt & their team went above and beyond to ensure our experience financing our new construction home went as seem less and stress free as possible! From figuring out what loan product suited us best to handling everything with the closing, they knew what to do every step of the way. My husband and I had many things to take care of during a huge move let alone kids, work, pets and activities of normal life, so having them take care of us and our financing like this was priceless to us. If you want your home financing experience to be an amazing one, I would say these are your guys HANDS DOWN!

As first time home buyers in a tough market we were nervous about buying a home and the process in general. We could not have asked for a better team to help us through everything! They were quick to respond to calls and emails and were always willing to answer any question we had. They helped us from start to finish and were so helpful the entire time. I could not say enough good things about how great of an experience we had!

Purchasing my home was a rough process between the builders, closing delays, damages, etc. but they continued to put my mind at ease and do everything they could to get me the best deal possible. Ashley was BEYOND amazing help for us when applying and getting our home loan and as things progresses we started working with Amanda also who was also great. We moved back to SD from the west coast (2 hours earlier). There were often times I had questions outside of normal business hours and Ashley made herself available (practically immediately each time) to answer any questions. She also made videos that more clearly explained paperwork than just the documents themselves. I assume they’re amazing for any type of move, but I’d especially recommend for anyone looking for someone willing to be flexible when moving from out of state. Thank you Ashley, Amanda, and FIBT! We are so excited to be back home and have our own home!

Molly was nothing short of amazing to work with. We had a lot of questions and changed things over and over a few times through out the loan process and she was extremely helpful. Great team to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!

My experience with First International Bank and Trust was incredible! So easy and smooth. They walked me through my first refinance every step of the way. Then a few months later we decided to sell and purchase a new home and again they walked us through every step and went above and beyond to be available at anytime whenever we needed any paperwork for offers that were put in. Most of that was done on the weekends and Bryce and Brent made each offer less stressful each time. They always provided all the right info to get us the best deal with interest rates. I feel like they listened to our financial goals with buying and never felt pressured to go past what we were comfortable with and when an offer was finally accepted the were genuinely excited with us. I will definitely use them again if we buy again and I always recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a home.

Super professional, fast and the easiest process we have ever been through. We tried refinancing our home through a different company and it was such a hassle that we didn’t end up doing it. First International reached out to us and we were hesitant because of our last experience but I’m so glad we decided to do it! The whole team was wonderful, especially Matt. At first I wasn’t sure about getting my first mortgage through a company I’d never heard of (let alone a company I found online), but as soon as I spoke with Steve, he set my mind at ease. My realtor tried to get me to go through a local bank when she heard I was going through this company for my mortgage, but she couldn’t diminish the good feeling I had about First International and I’m glad I didn’t listen to her. My mortgage lady, Ashley Haynes was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I initially applied for a pre approval in July 2021, and found out I didn't have enough for the down-payment, she messaged me DAILY, while I kept her updated on my savings and me repairing certain credit repair. I stayed with this bank specifically because of Ashley, she stuck with me throughout the whole thing, explained things that I didn't understand, cheered me on which helped me stay motivated especially when I felt it wasn't possible. And through this long process, i didnt have to pay as much for the down payment, and now I own my first home, which is because of the belief she had in me. My children also agree that she is awesome sauce. She is the best. And I will always recommend her!

Had quite a ride trying to find the right home. Everything from bad inspections to shockingly high radon levels to other things that weren't quite right. Through it all Nick Bruning stuck by us, knowing we would find the right house. He answered every question we asked, no matter how many times we asked it. Was very patient with us. Even called the morning of the signing to make sure all was well. Something else that I found interesting. The day of the closing, the title company praised Nick and FIBT for being totally honest with all of their numbers. Some of the other "quick" or "rocket" type loan companies throw in some hidden features that end up costing you a lot. So thank you Nick, Christina and the gang at First International!

Working with Laurie Burns and the rest of the team was very easy. We refinanced our home that we purchased last year.
