Cannot say they are 5 star outfit ANY MORE seeing how they sold out to another bank and then closed BOTH local branches so they're no longer convenient to visit. In fact, they are now 'across the river'....a local euphemism meaning they might as well be on the moon.

They were suppose to close my account 4 different times! Each time the person said they would close it and then I'd find out they didn't! Really? It had a zero balance and should of been no issue to close it. When I call yet a 5th time I am told it is still open! Are you kidding me! So I called the corporate number to make a complaint on the North Fort Myers branch and the manager (she told me twice she would close the account). Well corporate talked to me like I was an idiot and stupid!!

The exceptional tellers, especially Andreas, are the only reason I'm still with this bank .

Do NOT do commercial banking with Capital bank. Partner and I were starting up a biz and opened our account here. Well, things changed and we backed out on the biz. Well somehow our account got closed after I was told that someone had to come in and sign to close it. I was waiting on final checks to clear the account and found out the account was closed internally because the account sat for 5 days with a zero balance in it. So now my remaining check that needs deposited can't, and I can't write out my remaining payouts. And when I stopped into the Bonita location, nobody knows how it got closed without an owner stopping in and signing to close. DONT USE CAPITAL BANK!!!!

Warm yet professional staff. A good sense of safety within the building. Some of the larger banks could learn a few things from these folks!!
