First Hawaiian Bank Kapiolani Branch Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu

Terrible service, two tellers only. Arrived to make business deposits and the business teller was no where to be found. After waiting 10mins in the regular line he arrives and never once looked up to see that the line had 4 customers waiting. Eight workers in the back area laughing and never coming out to help. I’d rather drive the 15 mins away to get better service at another branch.

I paid off an auto loan on the 13th of May so I could get the title before leaving island at the end of the month. I was assured I would have it in about 10 days. After we blew past the 10 day mark I was told they would have it at the Kapiolani branch for me to pick up by the end of the month. Well, the end of the month rolled around and wouldn't you know it!! No title. Now that I'm no longer on island, I told them to mail it to my new address. I wait two weeks for it to show up. (being very patient)....still no title. When I last spoke to them they said that they had located the title and would be sending it to my new address. Here we are on June 29th, 50 DAYS after paying off my loan and 40 days after being told I would have it and still no title... Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

Lines have been too long for months. They have more people asking for cash deposits in line than they do tellers.

Finally closed my personal account here and never looked back. Terrible fee policies, coupled with a horrible android app and check clearing policies, made this one of the worst banking experiences of mylife. If you just moved here, look for banking elsewhere and thank me later.

Terrible service! Ridiculous long line. The short lady teller was rude.

This branch office is poorly managed...long lines to see general bank teller, line almost out the door and only ONE TELLER!! went to the business teller and was able to get a check cashed. FHB has begun to reduce it's customer service.. No drive up window at king street & ISENBERG st. No fast replacement of lost debit cards. Central Pacific Bank offers immediate stop on cards and immediate replacement card... plus they seem to have a more focused customer service policy. SKIP FHB...NOT WORTH THE GRIND!!!

If I could give zero star I would. The worse location ever. The line is ridiculously long, I'm actually writing this review as I stand waiting. There's two tellers, yet the managers just walk around and talk stories with each other. Avoid this branch if you want to do business in a hurry.

Service is okay, can take a long time due to occasional long lines for teller and notary. Few days there are not many employees to speed up service. The security officer on site greeted and is kind to partially assist in where to direct me to appropriate service needs while keeping the bank in good order. I would suggest visiting other related branches for proficient service.

Terrible service at all, close all my bank account. never going to have any businese with this bank.

Wow, I know it doesn't take much to be a bank teller but if this bank could train their employees on customer service, that will be great! The specific bank teller I had would roll her eyes and wouldn't even answer my basic banking questions without sounding like an exasperated preschooler without her daily nap.
