First Financial Bank S Koenigheim St, San Angelo

After they first took over their predecessor, I went to empty my account and close the account. They emptied it, but didn't close it. Instead, they kept charging my account for having insufficient funds while I was away for the military. Thanks, First Financial. Never had a ding before or after you. Never coming back to First Financial.

Forget what everyone says about this bank let me tell you the real reasons why this bank is superior from all others, I'm a customer going on 5th year btw. No monthly fees. Just keep a penny in the account they will never close it. They offer anything other banks can offer. My only complaint is they just need more branches across Texas I moved and dont have a branch nearby.

I applied for a personal loan and waited a few days for a response because according to the website I was supposed to be contacted. Well I go in person to find out about the status of my application and they tell me the banker that is supposed to help me "Iliza," just stepped out. I leave my name and phone number, cancel my plans to wait for her call and nothing. I call to urge she call me soon because I will be busy and unable to answer the next day. She calls me, I miss the call but I try to call her back next business day and again she's too busy for me. I tell them, "I don't care who I talk to I just need someone available!!!" Again they promise me she shall call me back shortly. Another day has gone by and no call back. I can understand if you're busy, but at least hand me over to someone else if you can't handle it. It made me feel like I don't matter and my business was not important. Worst service I have ever received from a bank.

Didn't go in just stop for the Statue out front very patriotic place if it's got the military sheep.

I went to the drive thru at the branch on Koenigheim because I was in a time crunch and had to withdraw more money from my account than the daily ATM limit. They had 5 or 6 lanes open, so I picked an empty one with the green light on and sent my ID up for verification to make the withdrawal from my checking account. I sat there waiting and noticed they had 2 people visibly working tills for 5 or 6 open lanes. Finally, a third employee walked up and started talking to one of the other two. They were chatting, laughing, and having a great conversation! After waiting 15 minutes with no answer I had to park my vehicle, go inside, and tell them to give me my ID back. Banks are a dime a dozen these days. What sets them apart is the service. When you can see the employees inside not even hustling but laughing and cutting up and then not even answering one of the open lanes, that's terrible service. Take your money and go else where.

Poor customer service. My family has several mil in this bank and they can’t even greet you when you walk in or direct you to the person who can best assist you. Stood around for 30 min waiting for someone to inquire about our needs. No thanks.

This bank charges 5 bucks to cash a check if you don't have account with them... That is ridiculous worst bank ever!
