First Financial Bank W Oak St, West Frankfort

Their online banking is still useful, but apparently the West Frankfort location is shut down. I drove to this location specifically. Google search and Google Maps still indicate that it is open and in operation, as of today (lobby until 4pm, drive-up until 4:30pm), however their signage read, "Please visit our Benton, IL location". Just frustrating.

Take your business elsewhere. They not only refused to cash my paycheck, but they locked my account, multiple times, for no other reason than they could. Closing my account Monday when they open.

Giving 1 start so I can write a review. Save your money and bank somewhere else. Literally anywhere else. I went here to close my account after problem after problem and so I evened out my account and she said I was “good to go” and next thing I know about an hour later they’re calling me saying I owe a -36 fee on top of 2 new things that had posted. I said I don’t feel like I should be responsible for that $36 fee when to my knowledge everything was taken care of or I would have put money in to cover it. All she said was “you’ll have to cover it or you won’t be able to open an account for 5 years” well obviously I paid it because that’s a lot of trouble over $48. But overall, I don’t feel as if I should have been reposible for that. Overall, I’m just so relieved to have the account closed. The workers were occasionally nice, but when it came down to it, they wouldn’t work with you at all.
