The worst bank to EVER! They hold your check deposit for 7 days. They charge higher NSF fees and a convenience fee if they want. I absolutely dislike this bank. I have tried twice with this bank and I knew there was a reason I de died to close it years ago. They are predatory!

I went to a local branch of this bank to open a checking account. First of all, the person I spoke was uncaring and rude. She just started putting my ID information in and told me I had an outstanding loan with their bank. I have NEVER had a bank loan. She then told me it was from 2004 like that made any difference to me because I have never had a loan. She showed me on her computer screen where I had an account with them in 2004. I don't remember having that but I can chalk that up to being 13 years ago! That doesn't change the fact about the loan. She couldn't tell me any more information about this "loan" just that I had to pay it off before I could have an account there. She then just sat there not saying a word after I had already asked her for a print out of what they say I owe. So, I asked her AGAIN and she woke up for a minute and printed out about a half page with really no other information but the amount that was owed. YES I AM VENTING! she said I could get a prepaid card which I did. I was so in shock from it all that I didn't realize she hadn't told me a thing about the card. Not when I would get the one with my name on it or even how to set up a pin. This person works in a customer related job and did a seriously crappy job.

I have been banking with them for 6 years, understand they are a localised bank that meets my need, my pay check comes in early, they offered me loan when the big banks refused hence no complain.

Don't reset your pin and expect to be able to use your mobile banking. I had to reset my pin a couple of weeks ago, per the bank, not my choice. Seems that my 2 purchases back to back at the same store looked like fraud to them, so they locked my account. I went directly to the bank, was told to unlock it I would have to change my pin. NO ONE said one word to me that I would not be able to get online to check my balance, pay my bills, etc for 30 days. After several days of trying, unsuccessfully, I waited about 30 minutes for customer service only to be told that when you change your pin you have to wait 30 days for "security reasons". Customer Service cannoto over ride this ridiculous rule. I will be changing banks. They deserve 0 stars!!!

My account has not been able to overdraft since I had the account which was almost a year but now I'm seeing overdraft fees of $34.00 twice and a negative account fee for $34.00 and I seen payments I never made being charged to my account to make it overdraft and it was only for $48.00 so you tell me why I'm being charged $102.00 for overdrafting $48.00 can somebody please explain that to me!!! When I made the account it was not said to that $34.00 would've charged three times for overdrafted payments I didn't make!!!!

2Thumbs down. I am so BIG on Cust.Serv.and this last experience took me over the top. There's like 4 or 5 five ppl standing behind the teller line. No one looked up to say hello or anything. Not even "someone will be right with you ma'am" FINALLY minutes later the branch manager comes and says "I can get you here. Again no greeting or how can we help you today. Smh... All I said was I needed to cash a check...There was no interaction NONE whatsoever. And to think he had someone shadowing him. (Maybe in training I assumed) it was awkward silence through the whole transaction and I was there for over 10 minutes. He finally counted all of my money to me ..I recounted ...put my money in my money bag and departed. No "will that be all"...or "is there anything else we can do for you today" nor did he say goodbye or thank you...I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THIS BANK IS STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS. I have a business account there and probably will speak to the H.R. department about moving the account. It probably isn't his fault that his customer service SUCKS!!!!!. Obviously it's a Total lack of training and leadership. I would just like to meet the person who thought that José Gomez was deserving of getting and holding that position!!!!!

My 2-step process for handling the threat of a $35 "inactivity fee" at the bank: 1) Actively drive to the bank. 2) Actively close the account. #almostasbadastheairlineindustry #whichmakesitreallybad
