Before I begin I want to admit this will be a biased one way opinion since I only have one side of the story. I am in the position of selling my home and the buyer tried using First Community Mortgage. Two days before the scheduled closing date of 7/23 we were told the paperwork never got submitted to the proper channel for approval. Shortly thereafter the buyer found out she did not meet the criteria for the loan that Renee was trying to get for her. It took from 6/24 until 8/1 for her to figure this out. Anyone who has purchased a home knows it shouldn't take a lender that long to know if you are approved for a type of loan. She obviously had other things going on or this loan slipped through the cracks. If you are buying or selling a home beware. It is hard to get a straight answer and it is frustrating when you know you are being lied to.
