First Commerce Credit Union Mahan Dr, Tallahassee

I visited the First Commerce bank location on Mahan Drive in Tallahassee and had an outstanding customer service experience with Amber Hodges. She was very kind, helpful and professional, and I highly recommend her for all your banking needs! Thanks Ms. Hodges!

This is my first credit union and so far I like it. I have my debit/ one CC/ and my car loan through them. They offered me a pretty good interest rate based off my average credit when financing the car. Anyways, only reason I didn't give them a 5/5 is because I wish their CC's had better cash back rewards and benefits, besides that staff is great and I've never had issues.

My car loan is unfortunately through this credit union. It took 3 days to set up online bill pay. Evidently if you do not have an account with this credit union then you must have permission from an administrator to pay online from another bank account. More disturbing is the online bill pay convenience fee of $10. So in a world of computers and computer payments where every financial institution would wrather you pay online than by snail mail, this stupid place rips you off by charging you an extra $10 a month ($120 a year) which encourages you to send in a paper check. Also, when my loan was recorded an extremely unintelligent young lady recorded my first due date wrong. She recorded it to start a month in advance of when the dealership told me that it would start, so I had to fax her paperwork proving that my first payment was due in May instead of April. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a car using this inept credit union.

I called this credit union to make them aware, mainly in the loan Dept, of one of their customers that is a scam artist and tried to scam me a month ago to cosign a personal loan for him at another credit union in Tallahassee, FSU Credit Union. This guy, Quennell "Q" Jackson, is a morally devoid predator that uses women for his own financial gain. If his lips are moving, he is lying. He was using me and cheating on me the whole time. I said no to the loan officer, only to find out that he had a "new" victim, that wasn't so "new" after all He was able to con her, but the loan denied.I was with this creep for six months August till February 13, 2017 when I started figuring him out and I saw through his mask of lies and deceit. Q Jackson also had his illegal Limousine company SHUT DOWN by the government on Feb 23 due to being illegal. He was not known as a "corporation" to the IRS not having a business....no surprise there, never even has had a local business license here in Bainbridge Georgia and to add more craziness, this Q Jackson was charging GA sales tax of 7% to his customers, and never paid the state of Georgia a dime. He kept it. He is currently under investigation. The banks , credit unions, and all financial institutions need to be made aware of frauds and predators like this guy. Do not rent his Limousine either. Q ' Limousines, Inc. Is shut down. He only recently attempted to get legal and get a business license in Bainbridge but he was DENIED. He also acts like a sweet, innocent, soft spoken Jehovah witness, It'ss a scam there too. He plays the victim really really well too. There is a good reason why this q Jackson can't get a personal loan auto loan or home loan on his own signature. He uses women for money and his own financial gain .Three ex girlfriends called FSU credit union to report this guy. He will also try to con the new victim to cosign for a used luxury sedan on some buy here /pay here lot in Tallahassee. He tried that with me as well. Can all three of us ex girlfriends that believed this guy be wrong??? He used, lied to, and cheated on all of his exs.. There is NOTHING real or legit anout this guyBeware of snakes like this one, and don't get bitten. Q Jackson is a scammer. Red flag him and protect the next victim. Thank you.

Since they remodeled and added the new drive through, the wait times have more than doubled. When I tried to call about the long wait time at the drive through- there were 4 callers ahead of me. Customers have been forced into the backseat and from my chair their customer service has reached an all-time low. If you like Good customer service you should go somewhere else.

I’ve had multiple issues here with getting things done and properly. I opened personal and business accounts here. I asked 4 times for checks and still 5 months later haven’t received them, they put a beneficiary on another business owner (without paperwork, signature, or their presence) and after they said it was fixed, it never was! Now I’m told I need to close my accounts to fix their mistake that wasn’t fixed months ago. Closing business accounts is a major hassle due to all the time it will take me to open another and change everything in several places. The manager said she was mortified (that this happened and they didn’t have a good answer) and said she would call me this last week to check in and see what could be done or how I was feeling about my accounts. I didn’t get any calls or emails from the bank. It seems to have fallen in the cracks again. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. You will likely have a difficult time getting proper service at these banks and with follow through.

Tellers are very knowledgeable. Service is great, if you're ever visit this location say hello to Stevie she's a Financial Advisor there... just tell her Brian sent you I know for a fact she'll take care of you!

Couldn't get a small $2000.00 loan from a bank I did business with for years, walked into fccu and received my loan with no problem.

Went in today to update info waited 36 minutes that haven’t been my experience before not satisfied with service on today
