First Cash Pawn W Gentry Pkwy, Tyler

Went in looking for a AV Receiver actually to see prices at a pawn shop vs the cheaper side of online and was hoping to get at least 5.1, found a 7.2 for half the price I expected to pay for 5.1. It’s kinda old and was super dirty but got it home, cleaned it up and fired it up to find it sounded and worked amazing! Overall positive experience. Edit, been over a month and I love this receiver. I found similar or actually the same model online for twice the money even tho this one lacked remote and all the accessories. Got my room sounding amazing. I’m hooked, about to go back and check out speakers!

Not sure what negative reviews talking about but these guys always give me a good price for pawning stuff but I always ask for half of what they offer since that's all I need but long story short if you take something worth of value that they can sell in case you don't pay it off they will make you an offer

Went in to purchase a portable dvd player, they have like 12 of them sitting on a shelf gathering dust half broke without the cords; I looked at prices none of them were under $45 One was even $80. These people are obviously not in the business of making money lol, I hope people know there are 3 others of this pawn shop in tyler, all are over priced but this one takes the cake!

This is a busy store but I always am able to find some good deals. Employees are considerate and helpful.

If you want someone to help you with a bad attitude this is the place to go , they were so rude we left within the first 3 minutes of being there , I really hope they check the reviews and fix the problem

Retract on this I give 5 stars because the manager was awesome. Ed is the bomb. He was able to help us out and we got our rings back. Thank you Ed we really appreciate how you helped us out today it will never be forgotten. As the good book says no good deed goes unnoticed by the man upstairs you rock.

Very rude. They treated us as if our things weren't anything of value. The woman helping gave my wife the dirtiest looks and even rolled her eyes when she talked. I wouldn't have even gave them 1 🌟 but I wouldn't have been able to leave this review.

Very poor customer service skills. They make you afraid to even as them for assistance because they are so rude. And forget about calling ahead. They never answer the phone and if they do they immediately tell you that dont have what you are looking for.

Walked in, 3 employees doing nothing and couldn't even acknowledge we were there. Won't be buying anything from them ever.
