First Bank & Trust Co. - West Abingdon W Main St, Abingdon

I’ve never been treated by First Bank like I was treated today. I’ve been cashing a check with them for over a year, and today they told me they couldn’t do it because I “don’t have enough funds to cover the check” this is the same account with the same balances it has had for years. My family will be moving all of their accounts, refinance houses, and never set foot in their door again. Horrible customer service, I can’t imagine what it would feel like to be in the middle of the pandemic with no money due to this banks incompetence.

The slowest bank I’ve been to, I understand it’s the holidays but even when it’s 3 cars (one in each lane) still wait over 20 mins, absolutely sad service

I don't know why such poor reviews. I've had nothing but the best experience with this bank. Great customer service!

The tellers are very rude and don't use good manners at all.at my lowest point financially they did away with my account.i paid what I owed and they didn't even treat me like a human.i was treated like I was a second class citizen.joe waters is nothing but piece of trash in my opinion.the bank can go to straight to 🔥 For all I care.

Previously had accounts at a national bank and another local bank. Switched over to First Bank and have been very happy.

Staff is always very friendly! Only complaint I have is the wait in drive through line, I visit this bank often and it isn’t uncommon to be waiting 20-30+ minutes to get through the line.

Not open until 6pm like the listing says.

This particular branch has extremely rude tellers who really need to be changed. The other branch is wonderful.

Last few times I have gad to used the lobby for transactions the staff have been borderline rude and slow. Thinking about switching banks.
