Fifth Third Bank & ATM N Narragansett Ave, Chicago

I had posted a previous review in regards to a mortgage loan officer RAUL COBOS who was helping me in a process of a loan for a home. The process was not done the way it should’ve and the whole process went down. Selling my home and then getting the loan rejected and staying without a home. I contacted fifth third bank managers from the mortgage department and they help me a lot and I was able to received a refund of fees that the loan officer made me pay. With that being said. That was couple months ago that the issue was handle with the managers. Yesturday the loan office contacts me calling me crazy and stating that I have mental issues for calling out on him for what he did and what I had to go through. Meaning this loan officer speaks to his relatives about clients. We as clients have the right to give reviews on what we feel towards a company ect ect… I changed my review with fifth third bank because I haven’t had any issues with the bank itself and the mortgage managers were very nice on helping me with a refund process. They deserve the 5 star from me. The problem was the loan officer itself and now his wife got involve. Just a heads up.

The new drive up ATM they installed recently seems to be working only one day of the week. One day it wont take deposits, next day you cant make withdrawals. Have to drive 20 mins to a different branch every time.

I've been banking with this bank for 13 yrs! they recently have new staff but there is one rather young female bank teller she kinda gave me attitude, didn't like her tone of voice. After so many years with them im thinking of moving to chase. They need to be a bit more courteous.

My mom has over charged on the credit card statement she got charged again that already pay off last time...

Hey i know everyone is saving money on labor but 1 teller for 3 car lanes and 4 people in the bank is just stupid and on a friday. It also unsafe.

Bad customer service , wait time unbelievable and never any urgency I’m going to keep giving this place bad review how can you not have change for your business accounts and you have you wait for another person that’s off work to be there to get change unbelievable they deserve no stars ⭐️ until they getting it together

5/3 especially this location is the worst, their customer services is horrible. Yesterday, I visited them to open a savings account since a do have a mortgage and I felt force to open a checking so i can complete my payments. anyways, i was told to sing in and wait. so, i did. some employees did see me but nobody bothered to help me. i waited and waited until i seen other people were getting help but not me. they did not bother to let me know to wait a little more. i have nothing good to say about this bank. ever since i got my mortgage loan with them have been bad experiences. I DO NOT recommend 5/3.

What I thought was good service at first turned out to be a nightmare 6 months later. Gricel assured me multiple times that my gap insurence would automatically carry over from my original loan to the new loan, she sounded like she knew what she was talking about and said she wasn't new to the busniess. Fast forward 6 months later, my car gets stolen from in front of my house while I was on vacation, i submit a claim, allstate if course doesn't cover 100%, difference should be covered by gap right? That's if it transfered over as Gricel stated multiple times. I brought it up to upper management, and while her manager Remi admited that they messed up to me after he spoke with her, once corporate interviewed her, she denied everything to cover her unprofessional self. Now i am paying off the remainder of the loan(thousands), for a car i no longer have, all after they told me to pound sand. They will surely get you a loan, they will surely lie to you to get your business and they sure ass hell will not fix what they messed up, even after they admit to it. All I got from this was a headache, and a car note which all could have been avoided if Gricel didn't lie to me to open another loan account.

Long line. Only one person working the loby and the drive threw at the same time. Every one else is just looking around and dont come help with the customers in there office. Wont use this location untill they get more bankers

They are very rude, and put a lot of pressure on clients for their questions and doubts.
