Fifth Third Bank & ATM Five Mile Rd, Cincinnati

I've been with Fifth Third for over 20 years and this is my first complaint. I tried calling them for 3 days in a row and could never get anyone to pick up the phone. I was switched over to an answering service and they were no help at all. I couldn't leave a message with them to relay to the bank. They tried calling the bank and no one would answer for them. I don't know how they expect to service their customers if they will not answer the phone. Yes, I could go into the bank but that means I would have to go 10 miles out of my way just because they will not answer the phone. Guess this is a sign of the times but damn poor service any way you look at it. Guess they are way too busy counting money to pick up the phone. I sure wish I had that problem, don't you?

wrote a check for 495.50 5/3 processed it wrong, $4,955.00 came out of my account. I went to 5/3 they first fixed it, then took it out saying it had been too long. Then I got it fixed again, then they reversed it again. I spent 30hrs of my time and employee time on this. They were horrible. Im out $4,500.00 and they don't call me back, or provide any sort of real answer. They even suggested it was fraud and the person changed the check. I wasted Cincinnati Police time and tried to prosecute someone to find out they were innocent. 5/3 made the mistake, I now have a copy of the cancelled check, and it was not changed, it was a bank error they did not catch, and will not correct.

Terrible location. I went into the branch to close my account and they did not end up closing it. I have tried calling them and they will not answer their phones. Stay away from Fifth Third!!

This location did not demonstrate any enthusiasm to open a joint bank account for my wife and I. My wife isn’t a US citizen so it was more complicated, but the first associate had no idea how to process opening a joint account with this variable added. He floundered for thirty minutes before bringing in his other associate to which she provided an excuse to not be able to process my wives passport. We went to PNC and they got me in with someone within five minutes and we are opening an account as we speak. I would not recommend anyone to this fifth third.

Missy is so so sweet! I used to live in fairfax and came over to this bank specifically because they are always so nice and helpful!
