Fifth Third Bank & ATM W Centre Ave, Portage

Never have had any issues with 5th 3rd, they used to have a location in about every town. Now things are a lot different with people doing banking on the internet and realize that all those locations weren't needed. The only complaint I have is it's hard to find an ATM or one affiliated with 5th 3rd without paying fees. People complaining about fee's need to know banks always had policies in place when cashing checks. With counterfeiters getting more elaborate with their scams banks need to take precautions now more than ever.

I would give them a zero if possible, I take a check from one of thier own customers in to get the cash and the girl says that will be 3% on a several thousand dollar check and I'm like WHAT! So here we go with the airline policies. If you don't have an account there they charge you for the check written from thier own customer. Why would anyone put money in a bank that charges the payee? So now another person comes out and says let me see, well now the fee is only 1% so employee A was going to charge me 3 times the amount that is policy just because she didn't know and was making stuff up as she went. I would find a different bank people.

I've called this location about 15 times over a year span at all different hours off operation and not once have they ever picked up the phone. Even when I was maybe a block away and go figure they didn't have a single customer, I cant imagine that the employee's are doing to much. Especially when o go through the drive thru and they stuff my withdrawn money in the canister all crinkled up with my ID. I'd like to say it will change but it's been a year and counting, like come on!?
